I actually didn’t know TWAU had such a troubled development. Even before your videos, I had an idea of what happened on TWD S2 and TWD ANF. But surprisingly not this

I remember seeing the guy "who I now know is The Boy Who Cried Wolf" everywhere and thinking he had to have something to do with everything going on. Turns out he's just a reused asset.

The point on Mr. Toad being a playable character is interesting. Given the unused lines from Beast, it seems plausible that the player would have had control of Toad himself during the charity match at an earlier part of the episode, with Beast perhaps lurking in the background. I know this sounds like more of a sequence that would fit in the post-Walking Dead Telltale, but they did have Jurassic Park under their belt at this point, so there may have been some form of QTE fight planned.

I love watching cut content, though I wish it wasn't cut 😔

28:16 Regarding Haltiere, it seems to be the name of Cinderella's stepmother in a 1899 opera version of the story called Cendrillon. So it's either Clorinda's surname or some kind of alias she's using.

I think the reason there’s no trace of Clorinda is because her model (if she even had one) would have only had one purpose, to be shown dead in the bathtub. No dialogue or animations. It would be a pretty easy thing to remove.

Clorinda's case sounds pretty similar to the first volume of the Fables comic, so maybe TTG later decided to tell us a different and new story. With every video you make me think about how troublesome it sounds to have worked for TTG and I understand how it ended the way it did... I'll be waiting for the next one! I really want to know about Bigby pushing Snow hahaha

I love how Jared Emerson Johnson was like "I don't know if anyone actually cares" like dude, really? If only these guys knew how many people have watched your cut content videos, and how much effort you've put into making all of these... Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaiming him or anything, he obviously just doesn't know. It was just funny hearing that considering how much people actually care. I don't know either if this old story would've been better than what we got. Like you said, I liked how TWAU played out in terms of it having the same style as TWD, but it was obviously very rushed (as always) and if only they took their time, it could've been amazing. I was never that into TWAU myself, but I'm really looking forward to what happens with Adhoc's sequel. They seem to really take their time which is fantastic but they're being awful quiet about the whole project, kinda like they're unsure whether it will even happen, I guess we'll have to wait and see. I'd be happy to send an email to Telltale and ask them about the old soundtrack and story etc. I wonder if they own the rights to the TWD games as well or if it's now Skybound? I know TWD itself belongs to Skybound but what about the games? Anyway, really interesting video as always InColdBlood! Looking forward to the next one already, and hopefully Adhoc goes on to become something big!

I'm pretty sure those leftover lines at 08:55 are referring to if Clorinda had any 'enemies', with the subsequent example of The Adversary being her only enemy (because he's everyone's). Sounds like it's about thinking of potential suspects for Clorinda's murder

The interesting thing is, if Clorinda is a therapist, I think in the sequel trailer Bigby is narrating to what sounds like a therapist. Could she be brought back for the sequel?

The bit about Livia talking about whether Clorinda owned something at 8:48, seems to be in response to being asked if she has any enemies. Picture this: Bigby: "DId she have any Enemies?" Livia: "Well, if Clorinda had any, I certainly didn't know about them. Aside from the Adversary of course... But then, he's everyone's enemy, isn't he?"

It’s really fascinating how much are left in the game files. This isn’t some leak someone made. Anyone who has the game or files can view them. I can’t think of another company that does this. I really hope at least some of these unused ideas get used in TWAU S2

It's been a while since a video left me with my jaw hanging. For 38 minutes I felt the intrigue I did when the first Wolf episode came out and me and my friends were examining the trailers to get any tidbit of information that we could while our theories ran wild. First the Nerissa/Faith mystery, then the Detective Brannigan mystery, and now Clorinda. Thank you for making this video, in these crappy recent times this video and all the hard work you did honestly brought me back to a happier time, even if just for a while.

Who knows, maybe they’ll use what’s left of this story for S2?

14 year old me loved the wold among us, 21 year old me still loves it but sees it for the mess it is. I hope season 2 is more organised.

Honestly, whether it's because a lot of the team left or what, I can see how a lot of the things cut were maybe to have a more grounded story. The older one, at least with Cindy, seems to be much more action packed and probably more silly (who knows). Or maybe, they just wanted to go a different direction. Whether it would've made the game better in this case I can't say for sure (unlike with TWD games, a lot of their cut content would've made the game better for sure). Looking forward to the next video!

i’m super late to the wolf among us party, but i’m glad i randomly remembered it and finally played it. my brother was obsessed with this game when it came out and always gave me recommendations for story heavy choice based games which were my favorite, and CONSTANTLY told me that i needed to play this. sadly, i was a broke as hell teenager so i was only able to buy the first two episodes and was planning on buying the rest when i could, but ended up forgetting about it until this year! but maybe it was for the best. not only do i actually have money to my name but i’m also older and can probably appreciate the story better! anyways, i never had any clue that twau and ttg had so many issues on the inside. this is super interesting and a super well put together video and thank you for putting all of this info together in one spot! i think we all would’ve loved twau no matter what happened, but i gotta be honest when i say that i couldn’t see having a different story than the game we know and love today, even with its flaws. i also never knew that there was supposed to be a second season until i finished the game this year. i knew it was a graphic novel series, but i was under the impression that the game was a one and done kind of thing. but now that i’m thinking about it, i do slightly remember my brother mentioning a few times about how shitty it was that there wouldn’t be a second game. it’s been a long rollercoaster on whether or not there will be a second game, and i feel bad for the die hards who’ve been here since the beginning along with the creators behind this masterpiece. from the last i’ve found in 2020, i believe the second game is once again a green light? i hope it is!

I love watching your cut content videos, there’s just so much mystery about what could have been. It’s such a catch 22 though, because (like you said) who knows if these original story lines would have been any good, or specifically be better than what we got. I guess Telltale’s troubled development cycles are the reason it’s so interesting though.

If I'm not mistaken didn't Tales from The Borderlands also have development issues because Telltale thought it was going to flop? I do enjoy TWD but the fact that telltale died because they got big to fast is really disappointing.

I still haven’t played this game, but I got it for free so I am hoping to play it soon.

The only thing I’m left wondering is if the Wolf Among of Us 2 is going to keep the framework of the walking dead. I wouldn’t be upset if they didn’t keep it, but it’s interesting to see what kind of gameplay style they’ll go with in the end.

I wonder is this story could be used and expanded for season 2,maybe using Boy Blue as Wolf's deputy/like figure. Also, the smell senses might be a good feature for the game.

I would have preferred Adam Harrington as Beast, though not with the surfer inflections, but Telltale definitely made the right call with the Crooked Man's casting. Beta Georgie looks similar to Grendel.

Wolf among us is good but in gonna miss the walking dead vids

Snow White and Cinderella were actually married to the same Prince Charming, they both divorced him in the comic. So I guess Cinderella's happily ever after didn't work out so she mended her relationship with her stepmother and stepsisters.

Hope to see more Wolf Among Us cut content if there is more. Question, is there any cut content for the Telltale Batman games?

Tbh wolf among us is one of my fav games of all time and I've gotten into the comics, and I've read the first 22ish issues, and I've noticed that the games story seems to take quite a bit of inspiration from the first arc of the comics, mainly the legends in exile arc, it's an arc where snow white sister is killed and it's up to bigby to find out who did it, with him interviewing members of the comics cast and eventually discovering the truth, spoilers for a 20 year old book, snows sister rose red was found alive, it being revealed that she had faked her own death with jacks help.( jack and the beanstalk ) she tried to disappear due to her basically to try and get out of having to marry Bluebeard as a result of them attempting one of jacks get rich quick schemes, basically she borrowed money from Bluebeard with the stipulation that she would marry him in a year, jack would use that money along with the internet to make himself rich but sadly he failed, it was pretty much written as somewhat of a joke on how people tried to use the Internet to make themselves rich, once he got rich rose red would then pay Bluebeard the money back she borrowed and the marriage wouldn't happen, sadly enough jack screwed up so she tried to fake her death to escape. Also another piece of info, you mentioned someone called the adversary and clorinda possible having something of theirs, well the adversary is the reason why the fables were driven out of their homeland, essentially he's a powerful almost invincible force that managed to push them back, it's strange to think the adversary was gonna play some kind of minor role in the game considering they don't start affecting the plot of the comics until far into it, also since this game is a prequel to the fables comic and Cinderella Is very much alive after these events, if this story would have gone along these would have been fail cutscenes, also something else the prince charming concept art, prince charming is a character in the fables comic and pretty much everyone knows he's a jackass, through the early issues he returns to new York after he basically burns all his bridges in Europe, he spends the first few issues using his charm to stay in women's apartments and leaving the next morning since he has no money whatsoever, he's a pretty prominent character in the books atleast from what I've seen so far Tbh I would very much like to see this story be put into a sequel, not the second game but maybe a third game, now we know we are getting a sequel in 2023. If they ever make a third I'd definitely make this the story since I've got nothing but questions about how this story would have played out

Interesting perspective calling it a story with poor narrative continuity. As for the tarot cards, I found that those were foreshadowing that didn't necessarily need to play out for us during the game. Regardless, I noticed during the episode previews at the end of an episode that there were rewrites and changes. Good content.

Have you been able to get any more information about the detective woman that appeared in the beginning of EP2 ? I’ve seen images floating around of her unused model and a episode title card of her in it. Idk if you knew

Just a side thing, I looked up Tumble Animation Studio and actually found their website, and also found animations for The Walking Dead there. Sadly, I haven't played those games in a long time, so I cant tell if there's anything new there. If you have mentioned this before, my apologies!

By any chance will you be going in depth with other Telltale games like Game Of Thrones or Tales from the Borderlands? I'd imagine there's not much to talk about with Game of Thrones since that one seemed poorly planned and rushed, much like other games that they put out after Wolf and Walking Dead. These videos are extremely good and it's a shame you don't get the publicity you deserve, but keep up the good work nonetheless.
