a darker atmosphere and more aspects and remnants from season 1 wouldve made 2 a lot better, but they did an overhaul and made season 2 feel kinda... disconnected?
My guess is the canoe was when kenny found the canoe and trying to go up north but when he was doing that it sunk and he started to swim to the shore thats just my guess dont believe what i say ok i could be wrong.
What I think the pictures in the Episode 2 Archive are meant to be: 8:01 I think it's supposed to be a room for something. 8:02 I'm not sure what it is. 8:06 From the picture, I think it's supposed to be an earlier interior version of the Everett Pharmacy Drugstore. 8:13 From the picture, it was probably a scene where you peek through a door. 8:14 The picture is self-explanatory; it's the rating of the game, although I don't think the words that it says are part of the actual rating that the ESRB gave The Walking Dead. 8:18 It's a weird version of the game over screen from Plants vs Zombies.
I think the original writers and actors of the game should get together and remake the 2nd and 3rd seasons without all the executive meddling from CEOs who have no idea what makes a good game. It could be the Snyder cut of video games. Some things I`d wanted to see in the remakes: -The season 2 survivors get more character interactions with Clementine like the survivors in season 1 did with Lee, letting their flat personalities be more developed. -Season 3 would have Javi and Clementines playability be more like Rhys and Fiona from Tales from the Borderlands, as the role of whoever is playable is swapped more often. --Also, the endings you got in Season 2 would play more of a role in season 3. Whoever you stayed with (Kenny, Jane, Edith) would be a part of the group trying to navigate the New Frontier threat, with their personalities and ideas of handling problems causing specific scenes in the story to change. In the finale, whoever of the three you got would perform a heroic sacrifice that would save the cast from a deadly scenario, serving both as a bittersweet goodbye and the beginning of the new phase in Clementines journey.
this video changes my perspective view for this game. Damn, this game was supposed to be lot scarier than we got now, it would have been better if we got this version.
the 2nd season was always so eerie like something bad was about to happen type eerie but I wasn't the only one the original game was gonna be DARK and depression like sometimes its happy but then to tricks you into that and turns wierd
You know, a decade ago I saw a theory that gamefaqs user "TheFakeShemp" posted that I think solves perfectly the Narissa/Faith ending mystery. Here it is: "I think I got it. Before all this happened, Faith was stuck in an no-win position. She had a broken man for a husband. She was stuck as a prostitute under the thumb of a criminal enterprise that would easily kill her if she tried to leave. And she couldn't tell anyone about what was happening because of the ribbon. But then she came up with a way out, and all it would cost her were two friends. There was a plot by Faith, Lily and Nerrisa to escape the Crooked Man, and 2 of them wanted to use the photos of Crane as leverage. However, those two weren't Lily and Faith, they were Lily and Nerrisa. Faith knew the plan would never work. The Crooked Man was too big. She needed a strong force to bring down the Crooked Man's operation in order to escape, and she found that force in Bigby. After Bigby's fight with the woodsman, she used the money she got to buy two glamours: one of her and one of Nerrisa. She gave the Faith glamour to Nerrisa and asked her to take care of her next client for her, since she was all bruised up. She then used the glamour of Nerrisa on herself and "confessed" the 3 women's plot to Georgie. Georgie told the Crooked Man and the Crooked Man, as Faith expected, ordered Georgie to kill Faith and Lily. Later that night, Georgie kills Lily and Nerrisa, thinking it's Faith. Faith then took Nerrisa's head, still made up to look like Faith, matched the bruising to match her own, and then placed the head on the steps for someone to find. After watching Bigby fight the Woodsman, she new Bigby was strong, tough, and would not stop to get things done. She baited Bigby with Nerrisa's (glamoured as Faith's) head in order to have him investigate. She left Lily's head on the steps the next day to keep him on the trail. She directed Bigby to Lily's body to get Crane involved, which would then bring out the Crooked Man to cover Crane. Lily then led Bigby to Beauty and Beast to direct him to the next lead and eventually the Crooked Man, Georgie and Vivian. The Crooked Man's plans began to unravel. Freed from the ribbon, Faith was able to lie about seeing the Crooked Man order Lily and Faith's execution. She would never be present for such a decision, but she was free to lie about it because the ribbon was gone, and the Crooked Man couldn't refute her without giving himself up. So in the end, Faith is free. Her husband thinks she's dead. She is no longer trapped by the ribbon. And anyone who would have stopped her from leaving is dead, imprisoned, or no longer has a vested interest. Granted, she set up two of her friends to die, gave false testimony, and will most likely be stopped by Bigby, but free for now. As for a season two, don't bet on it. Unlike the Walking Dead game, which has it's own set of characters separate from the comics, WAU uses the main characters of Fables and is a prequel to the comics. There is only so much you can do. Plus the game didn't do well as Walking Dead and if they wanted to do a second season, they probably would have already announced it."
Late response but damn, that's probably the most compelling answer. I didn't think about Faith betraying her two friends like that but I suppose it makes sense. My only problem with this theory is the massive plothole that still exists - Faith/Nerissa's head on the doorstep. Faith's plan is really risky because if Bigby and Snow figured out that the head was a glamour the whole thing unravels. It's never mentioned again, annoyingly, but I guess we can just assume Crane disposed of it alongside Lily's body. Still, I think I agree with that interpretation.
I think after two years this needs an update video covering the big things that happened and your thoughts on them, mainly Fables' creator putting the entire IP into Public Domain and the many delays that TWAU2 has gotten since. Also, have you played The Expanse, Telltale's only new game since their revival? if so, any thoughts on it?
Wolf among us question: Now that adhoc the original studio are no longer working on twau 2 do you think the game won't live up to our expectations or will you save your answer when you make a video on it ?
Maybe this is just me complaining: but they should've just kept the relation between Eleanor and Joan. Because hell, their faces/ models just look too similar that it's jarring and kinda stupid they're not family in the final version. (Again, I'm nitpicking, but it's just so distracting the more I look at them).
I completely agree with you, most people figured they were related as the episodes were coming out so it being confirmed and then dropped makes Eleanor's decision to betray you dumb. If they were reunited family it would make much more sense.
Considering that modded PS4s were and are easily available, I am surprised one wasn't used to acquire everything and analyze it. Also, I am surprised you didn't post any thoughts on the Definitive edition.
I responded to someone a little while ago but someone eventually did it give it a look with a jailbroken PS4, they were definitely not as easy to come by when this video came out, and found that it was broken because key parts were missing that would have allowed the scene to play out. I should have talked about the definitive edition but really in short - decent port, nice to have all the games in one place unlike "the collection", nice graphic settings, nice bonus content. The bad - disappointingly large amount of bugs, no rewind on games that HAD rewind is ridiculous, Michonne is visually weird in some parts, saving can ruin the flow of a few scenes. Overall, Definitive is decent but it probably had more bugs than the original versions that will never be fixed.
@@InColdBloodTTG I see. Thanks for the reply. Has the definitive edition been checked for unused stuff btw? Maybe it has some new unused stuff like the Collection did. And would you agree that the Definitive edition is the best way to play them? Or would you still recommend the original releases? Also, do you intend to do some cut content videos for other Telltale games besides TWD and TWAU? there are some great ones that were released before they got big (Sam and Max, Jurassic Park) and after ( Batman 1 and 2)
@@fayezfawzi3255 Definitive is probably the best way to play. Yes, we picked through the definitive edition the day it came out. I even got the physical edition with the disk in the hopes they might have put extra in there but no dice. Not going to go through any other games for many reasons, mostly that it's difficult to to make cut content videos when you don't really know the game. Sometimes what looks like is cut might be in the game just through very specific methods. Someone else will have to do it. I'm sure Batman has a bunch of stuff but it's not for me.
This new style of video is absolutely great its really good but i could see if you wouldnt want to continue dojng it like this due to time constraints as it seems harder to make than your previous videos nevertheless great video
Also if you wouldnt mind do some cut content on minecraft story mode series im really curious to see how the development for that game went as it is one of my favorite telltale title
I'm really not sure. I'm guessing not since Rashid is never in the game anymore so the hallway Vanessa I guess is a different Vanessa? I don't think even Telltale thought much about it lol.
I mean i do wish Mike’s death stayed but then again it would kind of make the scene look dumb since Mike died to a pistol shot but Clem only passed out to a rifle shot, if they kept it they probably would’ve had to change it.
You probably get this a lot but I’m really happy your back I’ve been watching your content over the years and I really love it you share the same passion as me with Twd telltale games, my advice would be to try to contact a old developer of telltale that worked on Twd titles you might get lucky for an reply to an interview, I really want to see more deleted content, last thing I really wish we could have the codes to all that locked data in the files, all that work just sitting there it’s sad.
