God, they cut a LOT of things... I wish Faith had more screen time

this dialogue is a lot of fun, but I can understand why cutting it would help streamline the story. I can also understand the pain of having all this story cut in the final project and being dejected when you have to go back and make a sequel. Storywise, it would have made Faith's character more appealing but without the scene, it makes what happens later seem way more abrupt.

I think they were right to cut this. Having a longer convo with Faith in this situation or something like it would've made it more compelling to find her killer, but I think having a hub like this right away would've slowed down the game's pacing and ultimately it would be pointless Still. I just wish we had more opportunities to just...talk to the Fables

4:31 did a recent play through and I noticed that toads car still has its door after bigby falls on it, then later on when snow and bigby visit toads place again the door is missing. Wondered why that was

Why do I torture myself by shipping a (presumed) dead, married girl with a lone wolf cop that is destined to marry with Snow in the comics anyway -_- (Seriously, I need more Faith screentime. Watching these two trying to hide all this from the Mundy cops is hilarious.)

This was very interesting for hidden content, it would've been better if this entire sequence was just for the beta at pax, I understand why they cut it out, would've been cool to play this as a free beta to get an idea what you can get. Other than that this video was great, definitely looking for your next one which will focus on the rest of the first season.

I like coming back to those videos about cut content from time to time since years. Now I realized I barely remember this one, but later information that this 'cut' cop was supposed to have Polish last name - Wachowski, it killed me, because I am Polish too and Polish police is not as caring as this guy here 😀

Actually I'm glad they changed this scene/scenes. Though it's interesting to see how it was supposed to be.

Shame that this was cut. It would have made for a more interesting introduction to Faith. Plus, it shows why Bigby would be more vested in finding Faith's killer. Other than 'it's the right thing to do'. Also, you might be able to recreate this scene if / when all the voice lines get released.

Goddamn! I knew The Wolf Among Us had scrapped content, but I never imagined it was anything like this; for a single scene, no less. This makes TWD look like a recycling bin, where as Wolf is a dump. lmao

I knew they cut hella stuff, because Everytime at the end when they say “next time on” none of the scene they showed were in any of the episodes. There’s also stuff on toads ceiling you should be able to look at, but cant.

I'd say I'm happier with how the full game turned out, at least as far as this part is concerned. Although I appreciate the interactivity and expansion of Faith's character, I prefer the idea that she was this mysterious element featured in one of Bigby's many nights as sheriff. Instead of moving from one activity scene (fighting Woody) to the next, the player and Bigby are given a more relaxed moment to reflect on how far these old princes and princesses have fallen, struggling to navigate a world that isn't theirs. Then she moves on with her miserable life, Bigby having never even learnt her name. Although her sudden death would perhaps be more impactful after this old sequence, I think what we got was enough; Bigby didn't need to connect with Faith beyond the level of cordial sympathy to feel as if he needed to do something about her murder. The situation is emphasised by Lily's death anyway, partly due to her glamouring as Snow. Also, I'm very glad the mundy stuff wasn't a factor in season 1. When I think on what it was I liked about TWAU, I can't help but believe having to deal with cops might have hurt the game's immersion and flow. Dedicating time to entire scenes where cops interrogate you instead of scenes where we talk to Fables doesn't sound as interesting. I feel it maybe sabotages Bigby somewhat as well, part of the fun of TWAU was that you were playing a character that felt like a force of nature, people feared/respected Bigby and his authority; having him answer to cops constantly would've mitigated that. It's far more appropriate that this will instead be the story for season 2.

i like the final game version better, having less time gives a lot more mystery aura to Faiths character. also it wouldnt make sense bc telltale scrapped all the storylines involving mundys, so this wouldnt really mean anything later

I may be in the minority but I'm kind of glad they cut this. It seems very tedious and pointless in the long run.

The covering up of the crime scene is very funny, and probably intentionally so. But it almost seems kinda slapstick-ish, what with Bigby ripping off the door and the bumper, and awkwardly tossing the Woodsman in the dumpster, as well as Toad in his car. It doesn't really fit the tone at all. Still, I kinda wish it woulda stayed. Added some levity. Otherwise, i'm really glad they removed the interaction with the cop. I don't know if that was a place-holder actor or what, but his voice-acting drove me fucking crazy. The options you had to cover it up were stupid and out of character, and the dialogue was clumsy. ("Uh, actually it was me.") It sorta treated covering up the activities of Fables as some annoying thing that has to be done, rather than the huge deal it actually is.
