I’ve said it before but I will say it again. It never seizes to amaze me how interesting camera trapping can be. I am looking forward to seeing the future episodes of these series. Good to see you back George. 😃
Another super video Georgie ❤ always love the anticipation of seeing what you’ve captured on your cams and seeing their activity 🤗 Seeing all your prep to set it all up makes me appreciate it even more 😊
A cracking start to the new year George. I'm still waiting for a break in the awful weather we're having at the moment in the UK to get my camera trap set up. Good to see you back mate, looking forward to the next episode. Take care. Regards John. 👍
Thanks so much John.. it's been awful weather in the UK..! Stayed for a couple of weeks before Xmas and I don't recall actually seeing the sun once..! Hopefully this storm passes soon..! Hope you have a great year.. g
Retrieving footage from the camera after it's been out a while reminds me of Christmas as a kid - you just never know what'll be on those cards. Looks like you've found a productive spot.
Hi Henrik..! You are so right.. or like the "old" days of waiting to get your film processed..! I love your work by the way.. stunning !! Wish you all the best for 2024.. cheers my friend. g
It never ceases to amaze me how great a variety of wildlife you have in that area. Wolf, jackal, deer and otter at one site; fantastic. It shows just how little I know of other European countries. Good luck with that set-up. Best wishes for the new year.
Trail cameras always surprise me also when I go to check them out George. This week I checked mine in my and there was a muntjac walking around in my wildlife garden.
Hey Dave.. it's most of what I love about trailcams and camera traps.. the surprise and the glimpse into what they are up to at night and where we cant see them.. good to hear from you and wish you all the best for 2024..! g
Hi Andius and thank you for your question.. the reason is in the hope of a clear night to capture some colour in the sky and stars to give a little more atmosphere.
@AndiusTeijgeler ..correct.. but in such a dark environment it is unlikely there would be enough light to record any movement regardless of how slowly the animal is moving.. this changes though during “half light” dawn/dusk when there is more ambient light.. the camera is set to shoot only up to half light
