I feel like Mahathir is an interrogation room rather than interview. The guy asking question didn't smile at all but Mahathir was trying to be funny to enlighten the mood. The reason i watch this video is only for TM.
Channel 4 proves itself to be another lazy news outlet. Most malaysians love Mahathir and hope he serves for another 20 years. He has not only developed the livelihoods of muslims, but christians, buddhists and hindus in the country. He is one of the few who can stand up to foreign misdeeds when he sees it. A 93-year old man does not do it for glory-hunting but because he sees the truth. And i am a Christian

I wonder what you make of the statements made by the likes of Anwar Ibrahim, Lim Kit Siang, Mat Sabu amd other recently made allies regarding Mahathir before? For example, his stealing of the people's money, cronyism, dictator-like rule, and such. How does one explain those past statements?

This journalist thinks Dr M is a changed man, he thinks his views on LGBT and all that like will be a part of our Malaysia who is predominantly muslims. Well our values are so different than the west, and what they think of us and labeling us as somewhat backwards in thinking are just utter nonsense. May Allah S.W.T Bless you and all Malaysians.

Ayie Shah I’m a Malaysian and I agree with the reporter. Mahathir has led discrimination against the LGBTQ community, and is undoubtedly racist. His policies reflect the marginalization of minorities in Malaysia. However, I do think that he should clean up najib’s mess. I don’t know if anwar is a viable choice for Malaysia.

Howard Chen treating lgbt like a human being is a must. No doubt about that. But legalising gay marriage is disrespectful. Imagine a gay couple getting married in a mosque? That is disrespectful to my religion. So we have to respect their choice but they can disrespect our religion? Like I said laws protecting these people as a human being is important. But legalising it and forcing other religion to accept them is disrespectful too. We have our own values and culture. We don’t have to legalise it just because the western told us too. I don't understand why the British media is in such a hurry to see Tun Mahathir go for good. Is it because they have already taken the sizes, and more, of his whole array of Malay successors, waiting in the wings ? With the choice of easy meats available, the urge to gulp can be really overwhelming, particularly, in the West ! !

I disagree with Mahathir on LGBT, but pointing out Israel's brutality against Palestinian is not anti-semitism, just like pointing out the China's horrible treatment of Uighur Muslim minorities is not anti-Chinese.
We (as people of Malaysia) are not in the hurry to ask Tun M to resign... so stop asking your blardy stupid questions and asking him to hand over power to DSAI. In due time it will be done. And there's no need for you to keep bring up the past, western journalist. Yes I know what Tun M did in the past but I'm more than willing to give him a second chance.
