She was great on tepe sigeman and her performance rating was almost 2700 elo. She's playing really impressively this year and I'm glad she's taking part in the open so much. I hope that she will be able to exceed 2600 elo again because she certainly has such playing strength. I also checked Dubai and it looks like she's already winning her first game. In the women's ranking, she has gained approximately 25 elo advantage the next player, so I think there is no doubt that she is now the best in the world.
@@indianfan1029 Bro tbh she had better position only when Anish offered the queen exchange and even there she was not winning at all. If she found Nc5 there , she would have had better position.
@@chesswithsamarth1004But honestly, I think she should have at least a draw with Anish then. Her game was consistent throughout, she only made a mistake at the very endgame.
great to see her taking part in open tournaments and hopefully encourages the other female players to do the same. I hope she gains rating and experience in these events and continues this practice.
Pure class . this lady. although, she blundered in the 10th move XD the Iranian guy trusted Wenjun so much he didnt notice this move is not playable....
Tolstoy mocks this idea in War and Peace. In a nutshell, one of the characters says that war is much more chaotic and unpredictable, with far more unknown variables.
It is. The Open is gender neutral that's why the women who wanted to participate, did. The Women's section was made to encourage more women to play chess like see Ju Wenjun, she used to play only women's section but now she plays in open. Women get less opportunities in general so to bring thdm forward a women section is there. Judit played in open since beginning and that's why she was also invited to closed tournament to play with men. Hou Yufan was going same route but left professional chess. Ju is playing more in open section even in important tournament like in Tata Steel 2024,she was the only female and she did quite well
