As a teenager, Professor Kate Schreckenberg's ambition was to work on solving global hunger. But university brought her clarity on how complex and nuanced the problem was.
Here she shares how fieldwork gave her a new perspective on balancing the needs of people and planet, the ethical dilemmas of researching the Global South, and the things that keep her motivated.
