I remember Nancy Kwan in the World of Suzie Wong. I was big fan of William Holden too. I have seen movies with Anna Mae Wong too. I love watching old movies even the silent ones.

I loved Flower Drum Song as a kid. All the wonderful asian actors in that movie doing musical comedy. I always had great fondness for their work. There are great performances if you look for them.

This was a lovely check in. I hope that things change, but I guess a potential indicator will be how long it takes for an Asian actor to win another acting Oscar. 95 years is too long as 74 years was too long. And the 21 years between these wins too.

As a kid watching old Hollywood movies I did find them hurtful towards certain groups of people and culture it saddened me. And one day I was hoping that it would change, change can be slow and painful it's a possibility that Hollywood might be I doubt it.

I just bought the Hawaii Five-O complete series. After watching the pilot I hoped she was in all 12 seasons. Sadly the pilot is the only episode she was in
