It was the beauty, the bells and smells, even the vestments that brought me BACK to the Catholic Church after being gone for 15 years! I didn't even know the difference between the TLM and NO and what I missed was all the elements that make the Mass the beautiful sacrament that it is.

The Pope is only infallible on matters of faith and morals when he speaks Ex Cathedra. The last time a Pope did that was in 1950 when Pius XII made the Assumption of Mary dogma. Anything else a Pope says can be ignored especially if it contradicts scripture and tradition.

Well not quite. You're right about infallibility but ordinarily we must obey and listen to the Pope. However, we are not to obey what is contrary to the teachings of the Church. Francis should be exposed as the heretic he is.

The papal posse uses the term as ' Holy Father' when they speak about him and they indeed are right in using that expression in addressing him because of the holy office that he is a representative of. However, it is required of him to refrain from expressing his subjective opinions on homosexuality as his views are in diametric opposition to church teaching. All he is ending up doing is causing a schism in the church which will undermine the unity of the church and the infallibility of his office which is guided by the Holy Spirit.

So am I hearing that I am "rigid" because I believe in the Baltimore Catechism and that my hands, heart, and soul are directed towards Heaven when I'm praying and receiving the Eucharist? That I believe we are NOT of this world but are asked to live in it and take part in it. Pope Francis wants to bring the church to this world but I believe we should bring this world to the church. Will I be canceled by the Pope ????

My Dad was Catholic, and my Mom converted after they were married. My 2 older sisters and I were raised Catholic. My older sister told me, before I started 1st grade, that she was told one of the teachers/nun told her that only Catholics go to heaven. She came home all upset and told our Dad what she was told. My Mom’s family wasn’t Catholic. My sister was worried about our Grandma. He assured her that Grandma would go to heaven. I always, in my mind, questioned what I was told at school. I want nothing to do with the Catholic Church! I have found my church family and attend on Sundays and any other night there is something going on!

I have said ever since he became pope that he is completely without experience about Communism, World War, or the history of the Church. I think it's also important to remember that Pope Francis is NOT American, so his understanding of US politics is limited. Still, he is intelligent enough to learn and understand the connections between politics and faith. Communism haver never been accepted in Catholic teachings.

✝Jesus Christ loves homosexual people but not same sex sex acts. Scripture, Sacred Tradition informs same sex sex acts is a major sin even former pope John Paul 2 who is also a official Saint now gave his full approval to a official Church document composed and also approved by the former head of the CDF now named DDF Cardinal Ratzinger that the Church cannot under no circumstances approve of homosexuality. And homosexual are welcome to the Church but they must repent of practicing homosexual sex acts. Catholic Church members inform your priests, bishops, cardinals and even pope Francis concerning the issue of homosexuality. These days in the west the lgbt is celebrated and promoted by the world it's not lgbt phobia but instead lgbt mania !.

The Church must be inclusive, just like Jesus . Luke 15:1-3 "By this time a lot of men and women of questionable reputation were hanging around Jesus, listening intently. You should include a fuller context. Read the whole of that chapter: Luke 15. The point is welcoming sinners ( in other words: everybody ) is so they could hear what Jesus had to say. And if a person hears the WORD, that person could be the one Jesus speaks of over whom there will be " more joy in heaven over one repentant sinner ". Jesus is a Teacher not simply a Blesser.

Mr. Arroyo, the Pope is talking about humans with abnormal emotional situations that need affection and not rejection as humans and our brothers and sisters. In contrast your guests only focus the concept of sin, which is a valid point and a point the Pope fully understands and admits, but he is worried that we as Christians are adopting a marginalizing attitude that is incompatible with Catholic Charity or love. Why do you insist on speaking evil of Pope Francis? It´s absurd the comparison you made with the previous popes´lives. Don´t you know that as a young priest Pope Francis lived in Argentina where a fascist dictatorship was underway, the violence rampant, and the new voices of the Church pursued, many emprisoned and several tortured? His position in favour of the poor and the marginalised may bother many, but he fights for an inclusuve church. It´s not a Christian attitude to slander the name of the head of the Catholic church.
