Why can't indian government or maharastra government would chose you as a ambassador for all these events? wherever indian players participate in big events, they should take care of your expenses for the trip including flight tickets..

Of course locals know it and they charge you more than from Uzbek citizen .It is like that in every country in the world Some prices : 3 course meal in middle class restaurant for 2 people : 25 dollars + tip cappuccino coffee 1.6 dollars 0.5 liter domestic beer 1.3 dollars 1-bedroom apartment rent outside city center 340 dollars in month taxi 1 km 0.3 dollars+ start 0.6 dollars internet cable 14 dollars / month pair of Levis 501 jeans 50 dollars And of course you were milked like a tourist in currency exchange, you got 9000 sol for dollar, but it should have been at least 11k- 12 k. But at least you got some spending money very late in night and they didnt outright rob you blind offering just 4000-5000 for dollar like they do in some places in former USSR. They do business on account of foreigners, probably to get some 20-25 % profit, but looks like they do it almost "normal way". Polite , decent people, they did not demand 200 % profit. I have met "businessmen" like that in Eastern countries, I did not pay it and we had long and heated argument before they left me alone. Not a pleasant memories about that ....
