I've just been on a long haul flight with Singapore Airlines. The flight attendants were excellent, just like Emirates. The food was also on a par. However the entertainment system on Emirates is much better thats quite important on a long haul flight.
Emirates is STILL far better than all of the US carriers combined! Also, there are restaurants, lounges, places to fill up your water bottle/hot water. Plus an airport hotel directly inside the terminal (depending on which one), plus sleeping pods/rooms! You don’t get that in ANY of the US airports😒. So for the criticism about DXB and EK, is really rich mate. Plus the second A380 looked exactly like the one you took (albeit different exterior), the cabins are the same. Transferring through DXB is also very easy, in comparison to some of the US airports. I think you should critique the US airports and TSA, then tell us which is better👍🏾.
Wow the overall flight from Washington DC to Singapore 🇸🇬 via Dubai is very amazing with Emirates... The seats are very comfortable, the crew is very nice and the food is excellent 👌 in both flights ❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😇❤❤❤❤🇺🇸🇦🇪🇸🇬
6:42 flying over an afternoon sunshine 🌄🌇 on a 747 😁. Hope one say to fly emirates, a lest to a country I like or any other airline who have a a380. But still hire in home in the moment. Exelent video!
Thank you for watching! Yeah, the food was really impressive! For sure, these were some of the better meals I've seen in the sky (At least in Economy Class, that is).
Interesting video - many thanks! I’ve flown with Emirates a number of times, from the UK and mainly to destinations beyond the UAE (including, yes, Singapore). I agree with you regarding the in-flight experience - better than Singapore Airlines’ direct service from London, I thought. However I’ve always enjoyed spending a few hours at DXB - I’ve never found it to be poor experience. Yes, there is a lot of glitz, but if you go towards either end of each concourse you’ll find cafes, restaurants, bars (if you want them) and some shops selling practical items. I’m retired, so I actually welcome the opportunity to just stretch my legs and DXB certainly provides that. That ‘special livery’ on you second flight - have you seen the two famous Emirates commercials? (Plus a couple of ‘making of’ videos). Google ‘Emirates commercial Burj Khalifa’ and that will take you to some RU-vid videos and you’ll see what I mean. The first one was startling enough, but the second one is truly amazing.
I've just arrived back from Mauritius and travelled on 4 of these planes (Emirates) and each one was absolutely shocking.. Inexperienced staff, lack of food, late departures, Children crying for 7 hours... Definitely declined over the past 5 years.....
Come on guys ... hit the LIKE button (that's the thumb up👍). Professional and entertaining vlog for which thank you. I hope that at some time in the future you switch to a personalised format so we can see you and hear you.
Thank you so much - I'm glad you enjoyed the review! I've considered talking before for my videos, and honestly I've just held back because it's a bit more complicated to edit (😂), but perhaps this is something I should look at again going forward...
Long haul flights on economy? Nah, i still prefer ample elbow room as i get very restless and gassy 😐 what with all that food wc is tops! Rice meals still the best, me, being a Filipino ❤👏🤤
You have to be joking! Stansted through Dubai and Singapore to Perth and return recently was a disgrace! Cattle truck seating configuration, tonka toy headsets, sockets wonky, hot food options awful and ran out, acrid and bitter coffee! Crews exhausted and harrassed - had to reprimand a Purser accordingly - a disgrace!
My deaf sister flew to UK with Emirates from Australia and even after being asked for her to be escorted by the travel agent, her son and me she wasn't escorted anywhere, just left stranded in a huge airport with no means of asking for help. She tells me the food was rubbish and the crew rude to her. I'm absolutely disgusted. If it didn't cost a fortune, I'd switch her to a different airline when she goes back
