I wish I could have half the voice he has. I can't even stand myself talking while game streaming on TwitchTV. I tried to slowly train my voice to have certain qualities suitable for playback over the course of a few years. It's really impossible to change your voice in the slightest while not thinking about it.

As in buildings that are wholly used as hotels and not hotels that occupy the uppermost floors of a multi purpose building like the ones in this video. Sorry for that.

very informative! just one minor error: it is obvious that the height of the ICC's top hotel floor got confused from its 468(.8)m to 486 m stated on the webpage and in the video (audio & subtitles), since the highest point (the parapet) only extends to 484.00 m, surrounding the inner Mech roof at 479.83 m and the main hotel roof at 473.73 m www.skyscrapercenter.com/building/international-commerce-centre/137 www.emporis.com/buildings/101555/international-commerce-centre-hong-kong-china

Michael VR Do you actually think that Indian cities lack sanitation?? If you do, try staying in a city like Bangalore for just 1 year and you will know that the cities are successful enough in tackling the sanitation problems which existed "earlier"... I'm waiting for your reply

The tallest hotel in world is GEVORA hotel in dubai measuring 357 meters built in 2018 with 528 rooms spread across 75 floors.

There's no such thing as a 6* hotel. Five stars is maximum. Like the Burj in Dubai claiming 7*, you can't just get stars by saying you have them.

Economics are more than a bit askew in China. There's a good reason for reserving the highest floors for condominium apartments and corporate offices in most countries. That maximizes your return on investment. I'm surprised to learn that the Burj Kalifa is mostly apartments and corporate offices. I've only ever heard of the entire building being referred to as a hotel.

Anyone feel that eventually we will reach the highest comfortable hotel, that above a certain height people will no longer "trust" or "feel safe" there in case of emergency? I do believe a 2000ft hotel will open by 2025 though. Perhaps as a way to ensure Jeddah Tower is completed, the plan will change to allow a small hotel (5 flrs) up towards the pinnacle.

I see the trap this video got into. Calling #1 as Hong Kong, China. In 2010, nobody would have said anything about Hong Kong in China. Fast forward to the noise China made in 2018/19 with companies that did business with China, and you see this list. Now in July of 2020, Hong Kong is absolutely in China. If this video was preserved in history for another few centuries, it'd be fun to see this waxing and waning of geography across the world. FUN!

The pronunciation of Guangzhou is painful. Just say "Guang-Joe", that's easy to say for English speakers, less awkward and A LOT closer to the proper pronunciation.
