I go to Haulover Sandbar in North Miami Beach. It’s big and the sand is amazingly great throughout. This is something you just can’t replicate at other sandbars in South FL or the keys as the bottom can be full of muck!

One of my favorite videos here besides the Bahamas and Dry Tortugas trips, Also thanks for letting everyone know that no matter how good you are at anchoring in current and wind you aren’t always safe because the guy next to you could be out on his boat for the first time. Also you shouldn’t get all bent out of shape if something minor happens and help rather than yell at the people who are having trouble like you said. I personally haven’t been to Islamorada sandbar although i have been offshore there, but most of the east coast FL sandbars I’ve been to seem to be the same way. Great video anyways

The bar’ is sort of the Keys’ answer to Coney Island on holidays but with clear warm water and a setting for parties into the sunset that are hard to beat.

Something I would like to see as someone who vacations to the Keys would be insights into how we can duplicate your lifestyle for ourselves on a 5-9 day vacation for a reasonable price. Not looking for Priceline or Orbitz or anything like that but with a decent / not excessive budget.

I been down here in islamorada for the last few months. I just passed the weekend after memorial day weekend. It was packed out there. Then the weekend after we had our first tropical storm of the year rip through us for 2 days. 2022.

We lived in Key Largo for 18 years. Loved it! We upgraded to a red anchor line to stop other boaters from running it over.

Hey guys, I enjoy your channel a lot, keep up the good work! Our first time to the keys with our boat is coming up for the 4th of July week. What's your recommendation for visiting the sandbar, where to anchor that allows us to participate but not end up in a mess? I'm thinking north east end maybe. We are in a 24' cabin cruiser, so need at least 2' to stay afloat. I'd love to see a video geared towards a first time visitor's bucket list.

You guys are the best, wish all boaters had your thought process, back to your fishing trip, can’t agree more, out few months ago with my son fishing 6 mile reef in Stuart , killin’ it, cobra, dolphin and snappers, had a great day until we were trying to leave, anchor stuck, ball couldn’t get it up, 45min later I decided to cut the rope, lost fortress anchor, 6’ ss chain and 200’ of rope, oh well was a great day with my son and filled the cooler with fish 😎

50 Wides is a bit much targeting dolphin! I think it would have been more fun fighting with a nice spinning reel or even like a small Avet conventional reel. Maybe it's just me I like to use the smaller setups to fight is a hell of a lot more fun. And I'm glad you had a good time you videos are great!

I really love your videos and I hate to give you a hard time but as a veteran I should NEVER be thanked on Memorial Day. Memorial Day is a day to remember my brothers and sisters that gave their all to the call of duty and will never come back home. If you want to thank a vet on Veterans Day do it but not on Memorial Day. Keep up the great videos guys. And be thankful that the difference in those days isn’t overwhelmingly obvious to you.
