There is a reason not even English championship team wanted Butland, he was renowned for the bottom left weakness at Stoke, he was lucky united took him to hit crosses in to their keepers, everyone will target his left hand side now.
I’m hoping Clement ditches this damaging , blind loyalty and drops Tavernier. McGregor should’ve been dropped at least 2 seasons before he retired. I can think of games where his mistakes and uncertainty cost us points. Optimising the chances of winning games should come first.
When Joe Hart was at Torino one of his coach pointed out his weakness to his left. Not surprisingly every opponent started exploiting it and he was done only a few games later. Cant help but think this piece is counterproductive to our teams needs.

where we expect top class strikers to anticipate defenders mistakes, a top class goalkeeper should be the same. not expecting your defence to make a mistake is what leads to keepers conceeding goals. his explanation for the kyogo goal is ludicrous.
Andy Gorman, Allan McGregor and Stefan Klos all had bad patches. Butland hasn’t been great but he’s obviously talented and it’s up to us to get him back to his best. It must be soul destroying playing behind that defence.
If butland has a alleged weakness to his left side. The rangers way would be to give him time on the bench and give kelly a run in goal , and get him on the training ground doiing left sided drills until he was stronger on his left than his right side. My opinon.
You can't have perfection at our level. He was a free transfer ffs. As good as anyone we could of got and all keepers have weaknesses and good teams will exploit that.
It's down to the players in front of him,if they play well, he'll play well,all the the players are getting a battering from the fans,it's bound to effect him.

I want to see a front 4 of Cerny RW, Igamane CF , Cotes ( who should be back ) LW, Bajrami CAM, it’s fresh and I’m really keen to see Bajrami, Cortes and probably most of all igamane as I’ve been hearing things about him in training! But PC is so bloody conservative we will so bloody Dessers still.
Butland getting called out is absolutely ridiculous he’s been the one player who constantly get’s praised one game against celtic and he’s the worst, are yous trying to chase him out . We are not gonna win anything on graphs it’s the total lack of fight , laziness , weak , not caring if we win or not , we are needing fighters and players who know what it is to play for rangers , gough, McCall, amarouso, butcher and I could go on , must be looking at them players in disbelief, Butland is not the problem

Sometimes keepers need a rest, same as anyone. Perhaps more on the mental side than other players. But yeah, they're still training day in day out, and play in a high pressure role. Essentially if form dips, that must be an option. People saying otherwise are either applying keepers known for rarely taking a day off, or have never played that position.
Yeah, because there is absolutely loads of positivity around our club right now. They report on all things Rangers, good and bad. It isn't their fault this crap is all they have to report on! Maybe don't watch it if it is that bad??

It's not full of crap we have a completely new squad so we should be positive for the future, not to mention the work we are doing for the disabled fans is nearly complete. The delay getting back into the stadium has never once been seen or broken down from a construction POV only from a fan's feelings POV so that has been negative when it was not the club's fault if you understand how a construction project works. So some positivity would be nice and it's needed. I'll continue to watch their content as I don't do walking away or spitting the dummy with opinions I don't like. I'm just giving mine as I can. I happen to enjoy most of the content created as they put in a lot of hard work which I can appreciate. Who said it was bad??? Remember we just said you aren’t playing well? Now we have have stats and excuses. Maybe this is why Tav has been terrible. Injuries, too many minutes and all these kinds of things. He should get a stat sheet and get himself a new four year contract.
The defence is a mess, which is why he ia playing poorly. I am 67 and could run as fast as Propper and Tav? Our best defender so far this season is Balogun by miles. Hopefully the new chap can improve things. Midfield is not great and forward line is not putting chancws away. Is this not where we were beforw the rransfer window opened then slammed shut??😢 All the money spent on players should have been spent on a real good defender. Similar to Calvin Bassey, or better still a new Richard Gough.

Lads a blind man can see Tav is miles off form and cost us the 1st goal on Sunday. Cantwell was dropped for less and sold. We went into another crucial game with TEN men against the biggest club in Scotland. Stop saying this team is what everyone wanted? Tav is dragging this team down with his lack of pace and can't defend (could he ever?) The manager needs to drop him ( call it injured to save face) and get Sterling in that position. The captaincy can go to anyone who stands out .. The keeper is taking the flack for poor defending and a none existing Captain
@RFC87 when you grasp reality you might see we have a major problem. We can't afford 3 million to buy the best striker in Scotland as Celtic are replacing and strengthening their squad. In the past 13 years who would you say are the most successful team. In 3 years our record will be obliterated on current form.
