I didn't know about that Harry Taylor one, that is amazing, he didn't just predict the draw, but predicted the Collingwood win too. (just not margin haha, but still amazing). Richmond's 3 flags by 2020 was superb of course.
After the terrible season Richmond had in 2016 my mate predicted before the 2017 season that Tigers would win the flag and dusty for Brown low and norm Smith. Imagine if he had money on it 😮

If you can't be objective and contribute some kind of sensible theory about things then nobody will take any notice of your views. If you want to rave on with dribble pick on clubs like Gold Coast which are leeches on the AFL and take talent away from good clubs.

With improved fitness, health, sports science etc, players can continue playing well into their 30s if motivated, in shape etc. I mean, is a 32 yo really that much less athletic than a 22yo? We've seen many players peak in their 30s, or play just as well. Yes, age does catch up with you, but we're talking 32yo not 50yo. I havent seen many recent greats decline drastically just cos they're over 30. Its more things that injury or fitness that play a role.
Not many will play 22 games and are more likely to spend more game time on bench these days. 4 on the bench plus a sub will almost certainly increase the players career Lifespan. Buddy Franklin has to count his lucky stars to still be hanging around....😂
As a Cats supporter, I have to say that the "too old" prediction is generallly valid, we just defied that idea. Cats won 2011 and 2022 with that criticism, so are other teams going to re-assess this?
Well Brendon Gale got it wrong. He said 75,000 members and 3 premierships, when it was actually 103,000 members and 3 premierships. But it was a nice kind of wrong.
He was kicked out of Collingwood when his team had just made back to back Grand Finals and won 1 of them.......While being Minor Premiers......don't you think he would have lost his marbles?
Uv got a gd channel & this is not meant 2 b negative at all, it'z simply an opinion from someone who is a part of ur target audience & someone who loves AFL. U have some gr8 topicz 4 vidz & u obviously work hard 2 find, edit & present interesting content. However I didn't watch more than about 10 secz because like so many otherz who do the same thing, u show gr8 clipz etc but then talk over all of it. It'z nothing personal at all but ppl that love footy & wanna watch exciting & interesting content, don't wanna listen 2 someone they don't know basically narrate what can clearly b seen. If, as an example, it'z about legendz of the game doing incredible things on the footy field & other championz talking about it, then we want 2 watch the legendz & listen 2 the championz, so in my opinion & again, that'z all it iz, keep finding gr8 content & editing it professionally & then juzt let ur gd work speak 4 itself.
I appreciate your criticism mate. But if I did that then I would basically be stealing content and it would not fall under fair use, leaving my channel open to copyright claims. The purpose of my channel is to narrate on historical events and players and make small documentary style videos using clips as supporting footage for entertainment and education, not to show a highlight reel. There are heaps of other channels that do that.
And look I appreciate where you are coming from but maybe you aren’t my target audience. And there seems to be some interest in my vids since the channels gained nearly 1000 subs in a month.
Hey, guess the main thing iz that it wasn't criticism, simply an observation & opinion but have 2 admit that I wrote it qikly & didn't word it very well & totally understand it from ur pov, esp regarding copying infringement etc. I am part of ur target demographic, juzt 1 that talkz 2 much some time lol, however I wasn't meaning don't talk or narrate @ all, I think it'z very important 2 make it urz with ur style, so 2 speak, juzt meant not throughout the majority of the vid. You're right, a lot do the same & that was really my pt, juzt took the long way 2 get 2 it lol but as I sed initially, uv obviously worked hard 2 research, edit & present not juzt gr8 content but different, in a gd way, it'z not juzt the same old clips that are often regurgitated by other channels & so 2 then do what those channels do, as in narrate over it all, basically undoes all that gr8 work & in a sense, hidez ur unique style. For what it'z worth, I think ud do heapz bettr if u did an intro 2 each sep clip, then let it go, as sed b4, basically let the content speak 4 itself & then give ur thoughts & opinion after. I think that'z prob the main aspect that I didn't explain in the right way, that ur views & opinion on it all r very important & people will want 2 hear them but again, after the ppl involved in the actual vid etc have given theirz, so there's a frame of reference & other options 2 compare 2, if that makes sense lol. The reason I said & am saying anything, let alone this much lol iz because I own & run my own public speaking biz & after making more mistakes than Trump, well mayb not that many lol but a lot, I was lucky enough 2 get the thoughts, opinions & ideas of some very successful business people & when I saw ur vid & had a look @ ur channel, I thought it was really gd but could b thru the roof gr8 lol & I shouldn't have sed anything but juzt so u know, it was sed with the best intentions & apologize if it annoyed u at all, best of luck with it.
