You should have made the game like this: Once the batter hits the ball, they have to run to first base and back home for a run. In order to get the runner out, feilders must throw the ball to the backstop before the runner tags homeplate. Normal runs should be worth 2 points, and Home Runs should be worth 3 points. If it's too easy to get the runner out by throwing at the backstop, you can instead require the defensive team to knock over a pyramid of buckets in front of the backstop.

Modified Over the Line rules. You guys should come to San Diego and play in OTL tournaments.

This game is what my little league team played. It was called line-ball. You hit it to the left side of the field and if it gets onto the grass or the infielder bobbles the ball it is a base hit. If the infielder fields it before it touches the grass it is an out. If you catch the ball it is also an out. If you got 3 outs you switch. It's pretty cool how this game is similar to what I played.

Honestly used to play retooled baseball pick up games on half the field when we could only get 6 or 7 guys back around a decade ago. It's fun, but the way yall skimmed off even more of the area you had to cover as a fielder was probably the wisest decision. I can't imagine how long a condensed game, even playing on half a field like this would go on for. Especially when you're just torching soft toss instead of actually hitting pitched balls (even if some are thrown at bp speed for more offensive purposes) hahahaaha. Fun shit ya'll👍🏾 regardless tho, definitely not the worst baseball content of all time...but it's close 😏 😂.
