The Worst Character in Demon Slayer 

The fact that you need to play aggressive rushdown with him when he's a ZONER is counter productive. Rui can catch people dodging and dashing so easily and I thought CC2 found a good formula to use from that but Yahaba is way too linear to be a zoner. There needs to be a balance patch soon because there are more things wrong with this game with each update.

I think they should’ve had Susamaru and Yahaba as one character like we thought originally. Could’ve made the best of both their moves and still been very unique.

To me a big fix would just be making his combo arrows do a little damage not even much just so he can compete 😭

I think I said this in the last video looking at him, but I’ll reinstate it here: it feels like someone who should be something like an assist character but is expected to be his own character with no back up. This wouldn’t be an issue if this was a simple 1v1 (since you could argue he can handle himself well enough there), but when you can have circumstances where he has to deal with both a demon slayer and an assist, the deck can certainly be stacked against him. Of course, you can have some players who specialize in zoning use him well enough, but them if this is the case, one can’t help but wonder why you shouldn’t be putting your time in those characters instead. We could see later on that he could very well be a power house, but for the moment, it does seem like those who use him have to work extra hard in comparison to other demons who can get the damage done in a more efficient fashion. It is great to see them make a character like him into a playable character, but uniqueness sometimes might not be seen as viable.

This one yahaba player I seen was elite he wasn’t rushing down he was keeping his distance and waiting for the opp to attack! The way he played definitely made yahaba top tier

Cool thing tho would be if they make his arrows move the opponent to make some distance, like he did in the show. Tanjiro just couldn't get through, and was pushed to his limits at that moment. Making this would make more sense since arrows do no dmg themselves.

My guess is that Yahaba is not a zoner he's a punisher If you make a mistake you lose 50% of your hp basically so... good idea but bad interpretation

That's funny, you're funny. Yahaba is supposed to be played how Zenitsu players think they have to play Zenitsu. Run away, force the enemy to approach you, use the arrows to stall for time. Also, don't be afraid to use your demon gauge with this character. A good chunk of your damage comes from your demon skills, and seeing as you'll be running away for most of the match, you'll likely have no reason to use the gauge to break a combo.

He’s mostly about adapting. And learning the opponents habits is needed mostly for him to play. Cause he’s so slow that you need to be able to make reads cause you can’t react fast enough of the time.

I find the best way to use This character, once you get a successful hit use all of your meter and then spam arrows to gain your resources back then repeat

I don’t think he’s a bad character, I just think he’s very difficult to play. And once you master him he could be really op.

Massive cap and the commentary shows you don’t really know this character much yet. Even saying your opponent should/could have pressed buttons in a certain scenario that Yahaba could blow someone up for also means the opponents you fought probably knows the character better than you do. I would say at best he can be considered a hard character to play but how hard a character is to use doesn’t really relate to how strong they are, since Yahaba has a lot of good play around the current meta.

They should have given him a multiplier so the more regular arrows that hit you, the skill following the arrows is multiplied by a small percentage so you can do a full yellow dash combo and end up getting like 3-4k damage without using so much meter. It’s just not optimal to have to constantly dump meter and now halt your offense to wait till you get your meter back(outside of boosting) . Another thing is, I get it zoners need to back off , buy time and not approach, but Yahaba is god awful at catching people, the arrows tracking are so bad and punishable so if someone hits you once and runs away the rest of the game good luck.

this is why i think a lot of people genuinely don't understand some of the characters in this game. i know this is a strong minded opinion but lemme start with yahaba considering the topic. what globku said is correct regarding he is amazing at keep out and aggressive/wreck less opponents and lacks offence yes that is correct BUT saying he has no incentive i disagree. Yahaba is a character who you do not want to block due to his grab as well as his CHIP damage he as does have guard damage from him neutral normal skill combine that with his GS now the opponent does not want to move but has to move bcos of his chip and grab. it takes a smart player to use this character and bcos of that he is mis understood (just like akaza) i feel a lot of people what characters to play themselves these days and when a playstyle of how you use a character become hard in one area rather than using your head and keep trying to overcome people scream (he needs a buff) or (this character is OP/Garbage) no you just have to give it some though a character bring hard don't mean they are bad when the reward is more then beneficial (the dmg output being the reward)

Lol whenever I play with this guy the matches take so long. I play super campy XD. My opponents eventually just get annoyed and end up making mistakes

The best part of him is 1 full combo can do like 50% but you have to use your bar. I'm not sure you're using him to his full power

To be fair, he is super faithful to how he works in the anime, for better or for worse. I think a way of helping him is making his basic attacks giving meter when they hit, maybe only the last hit of the combo, but yeah, he looks rough

Hi Globku I just subscribed I watch alot of your videos I like the one were you made a move list for enmue I wanna recommend you make videos about possible movesets for other demons and characters like zenetsu grandpa and other of screen kinda characters like they did for mokomo and sabito

Wait,at 20:35 in surge mode he can spam about 3 or 4 sets of trap arrows before closing the distance, making it hard for the runaway giyuu to keep dodging. That might've given more advantage to help get more damage to get the kill.

I've got almost 300 matches on Akaza and about 50 on Yahaba, and I can with confidence say Akaza is *SO* much weaker

Murata can finally shine

Yahaba is very good idk why everyone is trashing him all of a sudden when everyone was calling him so good day 1. He does so much damage. When you spend all your meter just use the arrows to push the enemy away while you recharge. Whenever I hit the arrows I never use gauge, I just do down combo because the damage ends up about the same anyway but with a knockdown. I don’t use his arrows too much unless I don’t have gauge. I still think he’s a really good character, and even if I didn’t, I would in no way call him anything close to worst character in the game. B tier at least

From where I see your gameplay, I think the problem is that you're trying to use him as a rushdown character when mostly he's supposed to be a zoner. There were many times that you kept rushing your opponent when you had less than 80% of your breathing gauge or (demon Aura gauge if you prefer) plus there were many instances where you held off your gauge where you could have done a UA or surge to give you an edge. Lastly one little thing is not to dash your opponent to hit their guard unlike everyone else you attack with arrows get close but enough to bait the opponent to swing.

You can use his Eruption demon skill after most combos which leads to a pretty good damage increase.

Heavy underestimating here. Everybody forgets about Yahaba's tilt demon skill which has armor and is great for punishing and he doesn't always need to deal massive damage he's a slow paced demon that waits for opportunity, just don't mash with him

I really don't like Yahaba's design at all. No drip, no sauce, just a demon with normal clothes. Gotouge literally drew MJ as the main villain but decides to just do "eyes on hands" with one demon and call it a day.

I mean he’s not all bad if you get used to him because me and my brother played together and I was another character and he beat me with that character so yeah just keep working hard you’ll get it! (But btw he got it first try!!!...)

I think a good balance would be make his damaging attacks do more damage or make the arrows much faster. Since it’s slow and easy to dodge from.

This video convinced me that I was wrong about yahaba. That, and the fact that once I got into higher ranks, anyone really using his is on the same skill cap so even if you are a good player I can probably beat him now lol.

I’ve got 8 unfair disconnects and it’s so dumb. 3 were from that one day that playing a game got you a disconnect because every server crashed (yes I got banned from that), 4 were Hinokami tanjiros ult freezing my game but I don’t use him much anymore so I haven’t gotten it in a while, and I only have 1 from something my own fault, but that was from my internet going out. It’s so annoying having those there because I haven’t even left 1 game

Stop dashing at people at people as him. He’s at his best when he’s mid to long range. Also stop trying to start all your combos with the arrow, it just scales you down. You’re better off starting combos with skills and using arrows at a distance to deter people from dashing straight at you while you get your meter back.

I said the EXACT same thing in your Twitch stream that Yahaba was trash and someone started getting salty at me lol. His arrows have crappy taking and do ZERO damage. And a lot of his stuff seems super easy to dodge for the most part

I played against a yahaba one time, he beat me 2-0, he was always just guarding and standing back and spamming his arrows, but then I came back cause I figured out how he played.

You're supposed to use the arrows to stall and wait for when you have resources. You could even send out single arrows to properly turn and send another in a direction you think they will move, prod them make them get impatient. Why are you constantly getting super close?

I climbed to top 100 NA with Yahaba. Even if he is bad, barely anybody can counter him yet.

The youtuber ArGin has made a couple Yahaba videos claiming he's good. He does show some pretty convincing matches, ngl.

Damage wise hes not bad but when it comes to pressure, options , match ups and tools. Overall he just struggles unless u play rushdown zoner ( which is weird) or passive zoner but even those don't work all the time. Because like Globku said running away is way too good in this game and its very boring especially against certain characters. *cough , cough and stares at the Water wheel spammers & shinobu air campers* Not judging anyone of course and love to hear anyone's thoughts on this video or my comment.

Yahaba would have been much more playable if his attacks ignored guard and had slight curvage. Instead, like Akaza, he's a trash character. Looks like this game is exactly what a lot of people suspected it'd be
