For the female ranger player, she could just have said something like 'nah, not feeling putting underwear on today' And given 'the underwear' to the homeless female ogre, swamp troll woman village leper or something like that. Would have been a normal thing and him being beaten with his own weapons so to speak. Not saying anyone except Clive was acting wrong in that situation.

I think the only other one from memory that comes close was that account of that abusive ex-boyfriend who stole her models after the break up and went to an event with her, and did a creepy cold smile at her, holding the case of stolen models up before he left the room, where she had to be escorted off the premises as she felt unsafe. As a woman that was a genuinely frightening account. But yes, awful stuff. A guy who is capable of this is, as you say, dangerous.

I used to work with a guy who had what I call "Black Dog Syndrome". Any conversation would follow this pattern: Me: "I had a dog when I was a kid. It was black." Him: "I once had a dog that was blacker than midnight, it literally drank in light, it was so black it was a hole in the universe". Didn't matter what it was. "I'm a bit bleary this morning, had a couple sherbets last night" would be met with a tale of nightclubbing til 6am, 15 pints and countless Jaegers etc. Gods it was annoying.

I was one of those kids who told lot of lies to make myself seem more interesting. I don't even know why I did that, I eventually just grew out of it. I would lie about stupid stuff too, like I would make up episodes of TV shows I had seen, or secret video game levels I had found. Before the internet was in everyone's pocket it was nearly impossible to check if an obscure movie someone was telling you about actually existed or not. None of it was malicious, and I'm pretty sure now that everyone knew I was making shit up and just went along with it because it was all in good fun. I'm still good at making stuff up, but I write stories and GM TTRPGs now.

The poor store owner. I like the hobby, I like the setting, but I find it attracts some seriously deranged people. Lots of good times to be had, but plenty of people with actual, serious mental health problems that they need to work out or take medication for. Glad everything kind of worked out, but its a little empty that proper justice couldn't be done and tbat it couldn't be proven in a court of law that this guy is deranged scumbag

Like a bunch of us, i have my rough days and sometimes i act like a twat. But if youre unable to keep yourself from literally burning someones shop down, you need to go get some proper inpatient care. Its your obligation to work on yourself til you can exist in society and not be that impulsive or wreckless, or damaging to those around you. It might be exhausting sometimes, but you gotta keep an impulsive thought from becoming an action. Keep up the great content broheim
