I beat this game twice first with Lucia and then with Dante after that i didnt touch this game again... spamming one button gets boring

Sure, it's bad but the puzzle moment is basically "when a DMC 3 fan meets the real puzzle, not brainless mashing", it says you have to push the triggers by hitting them until they turn blue (like before, at the beginning) Maybe it seemed stupid since you didn't have to just hit the single spot to make the tower spin.

I have a special place in my heart for DMC2 though, its the one that got 8 year old me into the series when it released. It's DEFINITELY the worst one to play, but its the one that got me hooked, and I still have occasional fun booting up the HD collection to go bully argosax and despair embodied from time to time, just like booting up 5 and bodying vergil with only RG

DMC2 has some good elements like the story, soundtrack and the character design. Also the DMC2 comics and the DMC2 novel is pretty cool. Lucia is an interesting character who needs to come back at some point.

This is not fair the comparison is not apple to apple As a DMC fan, I appreciate Capcom in making DMC 2, it's true that there are many bad things when compared to the current version of Capcom's DMC, but if there wasn't DMC 2 then there wouldn't be DMC 3 which you are so proud of. In fact, I can explain a lot of the bad things about DMC:PoC we all learn from mistakes

DmC 2013 legitimately is better than Peak of Combat. The story is fine, and the actual combat in the game feels good, too. If it wasn't a DMC related game, it would be looked at favorably
