Daemon Summoner actually sounds like a rip-off Shin Megami Tensei game, in which the series actually has a sub-series known as Devil Summoner.

Holy shit those textures....even the walls in Peach's Castle on Super Mario 64 look a lot less pixelated.

You could tell the devs were very impressed with their own 3D modeling that they only used 2 characters for enemies.

Nobody likes sewer levels. Nobody. 'Demon Summoner' might actually be an attempt to capitalize on a part of the Shin Megami Tensei game 'Digital Devil Story'...maybe?

i think they put dock levels in so most of the level will just be endless water and they dont actually have to make enviroments

These Worst Games series, to me, is documenting Tennings' slow descent into insanity.

Funnily enough, that vampire woman does look a bit like Anita.

Actually, to the game's credit, "Daemon" is an accepted, alternative spelling of demon.

Don't worry Tennings. If you just keep playing, eventually your soul will die and making these videos won't seem so bad anymore.

Interestingly, apparently this game was released on the PC under the name Chronicles of a Vampire Hunter. Why they couldn't call it that is a mystery.

I read about this in bad games wiki and thought "It can't be THAT bad" Then I saw this video and confirmed that this game is indeed a gigantic piece of shit :D

Good on you for the Python clip. Not only will the vampires not die, they're all wearing floor length dressing robes....the dev should have made them trip on their robes and have to get up. At least it would have been funny the first couple of times.

Just for anyone who doesn’t know, this game was actually highly appreciated back when it first came out. It was released as a game called “Chronicles of a vampire hunter”. It’s also worth noting that the games failures come from there only being one person coding the entire game. This said person now works for another company called “Project Zomboid”. Also, this game was first released as a 7+ aswell somehow. I think the game may have been more tame on its release or maybe it got re-released due to it being too inappropriate for 7+. :)

Like literally this game was most likely the same price tag as grand theft auto games when they fist hit the self. I actually remember seeing this game in Gamestation way back in the day when they had 4 games for £20 as an offer. I needed one more game to get 4. A friend convinced me to get Chaos Legion over this and I'm doubly glad of that chose now actually seeing this game. (Also chaos legion was great.)

Oh, so this is the game what was released on PC too as "Chronicles of a Vampire" by a budget label called CoolGames? Woooow, so that's why it was so familiar to me, a famous local game reviewer made a funny video about this years ago and I guess the PS2 version is even worse... what is a thing because you CAN'T complete the game on PC because it will crash on a certain stage no matter what.

The comments pointed out that the title of this game copied Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner. I agree! This game is like you fuse good games like Doom and Halo, but crap over both and make the graphics appear like they came out of an N64 title. Midas Interactive and Pheonix Games are some of the worst shovelware game developers next to Data Design Interactive. Daemon Summoner came out the same year as Persona 3 and the latter did so much better; and you can summon demons by shooting yourself to defeat monsters during a period at night where shadows want to kill you!

This game could've been good, but they fucked it up.
