+Jase lemons if your nit picking shit out of movies yes you may hate it but if you go movies for entertainment see movies what they are for fun escape stress from work it may be good movie to some people for next movie you see try not to be non paid movie critic watch for entatinment what little kids do
The Observant ServantTM it wasnt that bad of a year, like Chris said in his previous video, if your hopes where on movies like Independence Day Resurgence and Jason Bourne then yes this year might have been disappointing to you. There were a lot of smaller movies this year that were just amazing
I was just on a plane ride and there was a lady sitting in front and across the aisle from me and I noticed out of the corner of my eye that she was flipping through all these movies really quickly. she went past moonlight, whiplash, la la land, kubo, doctor strange, civil war, all excellent movies. And then she got to Max steel. I swear, out of all the movies she just flipped past she just stared at Max steel for about 3 minutes. I was biting my lip the whole time like; plz don't watch it, have mercy on yourself, don't watch it. she was about to press play, but she skipped to something else. I'm not sure what she watched eventually, but that was the scariest moment I ever had on a flight.
McBeards it wasn't a masterpiece and alot of people think its bad but everyone went through so much i mean melissa McCarthy almost killed herself because of all the bullying
august vitto whats your point chris number 1 is the nice guys and it was directed by the director of iron man 3 (a movie people just like to hate for stupid reason) by the way since youre comparing it max steel thor 2 gets a B+ from chris :-)
I watch Gods of Egypt as a comedy, because the acting is just that bad and cheesy. Also, please do NOT mistake Gods of Egypt with Prince of Egypt, because Prince of Egypt beats them gods to the ground in terms of quality.
*My top Worst 2016 movies:* - Independence Day: Resurgence. - Ghostbusters. - Gods of Egypt. - Assassins Creed. - Norm of the North. - Alice through the looking glass. - X-Men Apocalypse. - Now you see me 2. - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the shadows. - The 5th wave. - Fifty shades of black. - The Do-over. - Allegiant. - Nine lives. - Max Steel.
Kal-El fan 49 OMG You hated Ghostbusters!? you man sexist pig! your just a bigot idiot that don't understa- *God shoots the crazy whale feminist* Sorry about that, they tend to break out of their cage alot.
this comment reminds me of Gary Oldman in The Dark Knight Rises "I hope you have a friend like I did, to plunge their hands into the filth so that you can keep yours clean!” Thank you Chris Stuckmann for plunging your hands straight into that horrible filth of Kevin Spacey as a house cat. You are the Batman of movie reviewers but with braces lol.
I believe that "Fifty shades of black" is so bad, that they did not have the courage to exhibit in another cinema that was not in Brazil, because surely that was the worst movie of 2016 !
People keep saying in the comments "Where's BvS an Suicide Squad?" I think people need to learn the difference between a "Bad" film and a "Dissapointing" film.
tyler moran Suicide Squad certainly was bad. I had little to no expectations, I'm not a comic book fan, but Suicide Squad certainly was a terrible film made by people either incompetent or indifferent.
tyler moran suicide squad was terrible though. The pacing was bad, the tone was everywhere, the character motivations felt forced, and the plot was sloppy. It felt like it was trying to do so much and accomplished nothing because of that.
I feel like dc fans got fcked so hard this year like never before. Batman vs superman, the killing joke and Suicide Squad. Some fans are still trying to find desperately some good in bvs ultimate edition but in the long run, the movie was a fcking mess and wasted 4 incredible storylines.
Max Krampe BvS ultimate edition is better, but it's ruined by the fact you have to pay absolute attention to every detail to fully understand the story
Mark Lewis it is better no doubt about that. But the story itself overall is not good. I expected a more dynamic back and forth between gotham and metropolis. Showing one how broken he is and the other one how hopeful he is but it ended being so depressive overall. Especially towards supes. The batman element was fantastic in almost every way but supes.. Its like they didnt connected to man of steel at all except for the battle at the end when there was so much more..
Agreed. Suicide Squad was a completely misfired opportunity...but there's enough in it to make you say "hey, it's not as bad as ten other films I've seen this year!".
Been a fan since you had 3k subscribers. I see you have an impressive bluray collection. Are you investing in 4K bluray and what are your thoughts on the format?
I own a 4k tv and a ps4 pro, but i'm gonna wait a few years before getting 4k bluray. In Europe one 4k bluray is *40 euros* ! Isn't that just ridiculous? That's almost 50 dollars! A standard bluray is 20 euros. It simply isn't worth it yet for me.
2016 was a bad year, but in 2017... we have... Star Wars VIII John Wick 2 Alien: Covenant Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle Spideman - Homecoming Thor - Ragnarok Justice League (I'm worried about this one for some reason) Logan Blade Runner 2049 Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 War of the Planet of the Apes The Fate of the Furious Let's leave it at this... There's hopefully a lot of good movies coming out for 2017?
When the Gods of Egypt Shut me In the Disappointments Room I could hear Norm Of The North yelling in The Darkness from the Cell on the Other Side of the Door. He told me he just took some Max Steel erectile dysfunction pills and was going to pound my ass until the Bough Breaks. This is a case where I really hope I don't have Nine Lives.
10. The Darkness 09. Gods of Egypt 08. Shut In 07. Max Steel 06. The Other Side of the Door 05. When the Bough Breaks 04. Cell 03. Norm of the North 02. The Disappointments Room 01. Nine Lives
Great list. Ive seen people commenting.. "Where's Suicide Squad or BvS?" As you can see from the video there are plenty of bad movies that are actually worth the Top 10 Worst list.
To the hate train hipsters in the comments. Suicide squad and bvs weren't that bad just extremely mediocre for the hype they had going in. Spamming each top ten list looking for validation for your completely over reaching opinions is just plain annoying and embarrassing. If you think they're the worst then you didn't see a lot of movies this year.
Caption America Maybe bvs wasn't the worst thing ever (bad though it was), but Suicide Squad was a completely unbearable, unstructured, poorly heaped together mess of an excuse for a film. It definitely deserves to be on a "worst of the year" list, imo. There were just no redeeming qualities, nothing enjoyable about that film at all.
Jake Sibley that's completely opinion based. It was okay and I loved the joker and deadshot. Definitely redeeming there for other people besides yourself
Caption America I could maybe give BvS a pass bc it tried and it has a MEMORABLE action scene. Suicide Squad didn't and it also looked ugly and it was boring and as generic as you can get
Warcraft? Dirty Grandpa? Allegiant? Ice Age Collision Curse? Angry Birds? Ghostbusters? London Has Fallen? Zoolander 2? Office Christmas Party? Jack Reacher Never Go Back? The Purge 3? The 5th Wave? Fifty Shades of Black?
For anyone who's too lazy to watch the entire video, here you go: 10. The Darkness 9. Gods of Egypt 8. Shut In 7. Max Steel 6. The Other Side of the Door 5. When the Bough Breaks 4. Cell 3. Norm of the North 2. The Disappoints Room 1. Deadpool Just kidding! #1 was Nine Lives :D
Hey Chris, from your videos, I find you the perfect RU-vidr( I m not sure how you write it) to just give me some tips of how to make a movie good. If you good make a video about it, I would appreciate it a lot. Love your videos and reviews btw and I feel your reviews always have my back on watching movies. Thanks for all of that.
+isha shah I think that was the problem, it's so boring and forgettable, that it's just bad. Not the _worst_ thing ever, but it just feels like they didn't even try. It's a snoozefest.
Here's the list. DHM: Inferno Collateral Beauty Assassin's Creed 10. The Darkness 9. Gods of Egypt 8. Shut In 7. Max Steel 6. The Other Side of the Door 5. When the Bough Breaks 4. Cell 3. Norm of the North (Called it) 2. The Disappointments Room 1. Nine Lives
Next up even more trashed movie: Emoji after canceling Popeye. Suicide Squad, Catman V Tywinator Lennisaer, Assassin Creed, Gods of Egypt & other horror will give A+ pass for me. I actually enjoy them.
You can tell there a lot of people who don't actually watch a lot of films, but just pay attention to what is popular. Suicide Squad and BvS are far from being the worst movies out of the entire year of 2016. So save your breath.
Lmao at all the people who think bvs and suicide squad deserve to be compared with nine lives, norm of the north, cell, gods of egypt, the darkness, and every other movie in this video.
smashin He doesn't but you know who does? Christopher Nolan, Paul Thomas Anderson, Darren Aronofsky, Woody Allen, Roman Polanski, Brian De Palma, Kathryn Bigelow, Jennifer Kent, Mike Flanagan, Jason Reitman, Sofia Coppola, Guillermo Del Toro. With these directors involved, 2017 looks insane.
You make a wonderful Beavis and Butthead impression. XD And yeah, as I remember the original Max Steel cartoon many years ago, I prefer that one rather than the remake and the live-action film. =P Great list, btw!
You've seen him as a mysterious criminal in "Se7en" and "The Usual Suspects." You've seen him as a man going through a midlife crisis in "American Beauty." You've seen him as a corrupt cop in "LA Confidental" Now, Kevin Spacey is...A Cat. And he's about to find out, that being a feline isn't Purrrfect. Rated PG
Accidently clicked on this video again after having seen this yesterday. Also, I'm not sure if i've already commented this but I love how the gingerbread men on your sweater are "Star Wars" characters!!! :) :D
