I used the one he showed in the video first but they’ve lasted 1 week each but would probably last years if I put lead I just get to lazy to put lead and instead grab another pencil
I use 0.35 , confused every single person i lend the pen to :) I like being able to write very small side notes during class and is also great for doodles. So 0.35 > 0.5 > 0.7 > 1
@@Nirdoched you know fucking nothing. Painting the picture of taking notes in a class having a pen tip of that length gives you no room to record any notes
personal experience here: lent my stapler during an exam to one of the dudes, when he returned it another guy wanted it, and he then staples his own finger 😐
@@okok-vt9gw . Bro he was definitely in school. Also I'm not sure but I think he reviews collage applications at Stanford or something. I could be wrong tho. But he does know what he is doing and gives pretty good tips
@@aeris_ezsm college and universities are very different from school. Tbh you can't really count them as school anyways, as you not only have to pay for it, bur it's optional.
Pro tip: DONT tell anyone abt your mini stapler, especially your teacher. They'll try to use it more frequently and sometimes ask you to buy for the class or keep it there.
Tip: DO NOT tell ur friends u have a mini stapler bc they’ll end up telling someone else which will lead to the whole class and ppl are obsessed with Mini stuff so everyone will wanna use it and if u say no they’ll think ur mean. I had one in 4th grade before and somehow 5th graders got it 😭😭🥴
Wtf is wideruled and college ruled, I've used that college ruled stuff (1cm in height i think) all my life Edit : Turns out nobody uses wide ruled here, Never seen it here and my father who prints these said college ruled is the usual
I use highlighters, binder with college ruled paper, a small notebook, pens and pencils. I prefer pencils though as I can write pretty small and do 2-3 lines of words in what should be one line.
those mechanical pencil you suggested, s tier for artists. i strictly use them. my mom was like “they’re expensive” then i had her write with one. loved it. also getting japanese lead. i know i know, but it really is better. i’m lucky to live close enough to somewhere where i can just buy it
@@deeznusrif you can the best brand is tombow but a easier one is pilot if you can get tombow get the monograph I have one and it’s amazing the erasers are amazing as well
tip:i don’t recommend pink earsers because they dont earse well and can still see the markings i recommend the hi-polymer its a white earser and i grew up with them 😊
Those mechanical pencils do break often, but they’re so cheap and come in big packs that if you aren’t worried about storage, they could be a good buy. I got a pack that lasted me a whole school year. Never had to borrow a pencil, because I had 50 in my backpack.
Do y'all mean the lead breaks easily, or the pencil itself?? I use cheap mechanical pencils to draw all the time and I never have any issues with the lead breaking.. or the plastic 😂
@@anokat depend which ones you get but the ones shown in the video are crap the plastic has no grip and the lead breaks easily The ones made by Bic are way better and are actually useable but a 40 pack is 9 $ so you're better off getting a low to mid tier mechanical pencil like the one of the graphgears
@@hiddenqu5238 ah okay, since he snapped a pencil in half in the video, I assumed he meant that the cheap mechanical pencils snap easily when you use them. I was like, is everyone just manhandling their pencils 🤣
i also suggest getting pastel highlighters over the bright neon highlighters, as they put less strain on your eyes! they still pop on the paper, and you can see what's written under it better!
They also just generally look a lot better. People can bash the “Aesthetic” study stuff online, but it actually does work. Things being neater/less colourful makes studying easier because you aren’t distracted as much. I’ve found that having a nice, clean study area with pastel highlighters/etc is much more motivating than a cluttered study area with bright neon highlighters/etc.
I’m using my pencil that is somewhat equal to 30 cent since 9th grade. It saw the High School Entrance Exam and will now see the High Education Institutions Exam
As a Japanese person, ALL OF THESE look heinous lmao the war in the replies💀 is it that hard to believe that i’m a japanese person who speaks english?? like i grew up in the states grow the fuck up💀💀
Staplers are so fucking underrated. I use to stable all my school work into my book so if you had hand out sheets you could write under them. It makes your work look so much better
I got one and brought it to school and people were like “oh you’re that girl with the mini stapler I see” and I was like um I just want to staple my papers please
@@trishalennex4630tbh i just used a full sized stapler. Mini staplers are really good especially higher you go up in school. But at a certain point you get a full sized stapler and it just sticks with you for no reason other then to staple everything.
If you're not regularly writing paragraphs in your notes, it might be worth looking into a sketchbook instead of lined paper. I found that having a blank canvas and being able to structure my notes however I like without dealing with any existing lines was a lot easier and helped me with actually taking notes, something I've struggled to do most of my life.
You may not want to spend this much money on a pencil, but Kurutoga pencils have a mechanism inside them that rotates the lead and keeps it sharp. I have a few, and it works unbelievably well, but $10 for a pencil is a bit much
@@unknowns78 It's worth it to me, and it's very well built, but some people just don't want to spend that much on a pencil you might lose, which is fair.
Those mechanical pencils aren't bad. I used those throughout all my school since my family doesn't have money to buy two expensive mechanical pencils just for someone to take them. And when someone needs a pencil you can give them one since you have so many extra ones, you can even let them keep it. You do not need all the good or fancy stuff just to get through school. If you have the money for the more expensive items then go for it. But I'm not wasting money on expensive things when the cheap or "bad" items work.
If you don’t have those papermate mechanical pencils, you NEED to get them; they are so useful. Also, for the college ruled paper, I realized in the middle of the year (too late) that my assignments required a lot of writing and I was finishing up too much wide ruled paper. So, college ruled paper is more practical since there’s more space.
In middle school, I took a massive bag of silly goofy wooden pencils for a king who would always ask me for pencils. Gave him a perfect attendance one after he missed a few days of school lol
Pilot Frixion pens are literally my favorite pens and I only use them. They write extremely smoothly and they are erasable. TRULY erasable, not like the old school erasable pens in the 90s/00s that just smeared everything around and ripped your paper. The only drawback to the Frixion pens is the ink will disappear in extreme temperatures so you can't leave stuff in your car or whatever. But you can freeze the paper and it will come back. So it's all good.
Get a few Twisbi ECO fountain pens, have one in black, one in navy, one in red, and a broad tip in the highlighter ink of your preference. So long as you don't lose them, they'll last forever and improve your handwriting at the same time. If you're going to buy mechanical pencils, spend a little more and get a proper one from an art supply store. Again, more expensive, but if you don't lose it the pencil will likely outlast you and will actually work well. Someone of them even allow for multiple thicknesses of lead.
