That blue team was atrocious and decimated. I appreciated Wendy for holding herself together as much as she could after being put in there, and Ramsay should not have forced a member of the red team to transfer after it was 6 chefs on the red to the 4 on the blue. Blue remained awful after obtaining Wendy and Shaina (after all, there was nothing anyone could do with that team), while the red obtaining Matt and Andrew weakened them. Blue might have gotten better if they had lost Paulie over Koop, but keeping someone who destroys property in a tantrum is not something the network should ever indicate is tolerable.
@@ln5425 I wanna watch the season to see who and what you’re talking about, but at the same time I’m scared, for lack of a better word, to see just how terrible that team is. I was able to watch S10 because it was “the season of the kick-outs,” which essentially turned it into a comedy for me, but I somewhat avoid S9 and the all-star season solely because of Elise.
The fact that Gaurav tried to defend his choice to stick his fingers in the food just made me pissed to no end. Maybe if you were cooking for yourself, that's okay, but you're cooking for many others who probably don't appreciate having someone's finger oils in their food.
yeah when I'm cooking for someone else I'm like 10x more careful about cleanliness than I am when I'm just cooking for me 😆 like if I die then it's my own fault haha
I hate whenever Elise argued with someone they either blamed both of them equally or only the person who she was arguing with. It was so annoying. Like teachers dealing with a bully.
Appreciation goes to Christina at 10:44 listening to her telling her sorry excuse of a team to knock it off. She held it together a LOT better than I would have. It astounds me watching this after watching season 10 with Dana and Barbie then Vs now. You would think that being there for a second time and with Dana being Christina's "best friend" more would be done to ensure her "best friends" team is led to victory
I just think Dana’s not a good chef. She’s a fitness trainer now, and I’m surprised she did well considering. To some people she’s an underdog who was actually okay (and they’re right)
@@margarethmichelina5146 I remember that. Dana rode Christina's coattails and hid under Christina all the way to the Black Jackets while constantly trying to eliminate Barbie. I wasn't surprised Dana tried to sabotage Christina. She because bitter. The bitterness continued when Dana returned in S17. She continued her issue with Barbie, rode Michelle to Black Jackets like she did Christina. Dana getting orders from Christina while thinking "they were friends" made her resentful as well.
I like how in the later seasons Gordon has calmed down, less yelling, insults, and more constructive. Him yelling for years might've taken a toll for sure but I do like him actually breaking down stuff. I'd also imagine the cases of PTSD he gave and the suicide took a toll on him mentally.
Also, after what happened to Rachel, Gordon hired a psychiatrist to every chefs who got eliminated so they will not suffer PTSD. Even Ryan, the winner of Season 16 has to go to mental health after she won to make sure she's fine and I also heard that she's like Dave, got punked that she didn't a get the head chef position in Yardbird instead being the Sous Chef while Dave becomes the Line Cook on Araxi.
6:43-6:44 That little girl who looked surprised in the camera was Millie Bobby Brown and she was around 10-11 years old at that time and hasn't starred in Stranger Things yet
14:47 Nah, for me, the worst charity night dinner service was either Season 17 when Barbie yelled : "HOW DO YOU GIVE ME YOUR SPINACH, MICHELLE?" And Season 18 where Jose sent 6 raw veals without checking them first.
At least with those charity night services, while that team did terribly, the other team did well. With Season 20's charity night service, BOTH teams screwed the pooch. I believe that's why Flynn considers it the worst.
Hey Flynn, I recently thought of an interesting idea for a future video. Remember in your video about the worst mistakes from winners, you claimed that Christina could have been the first boot of Season 10 had the red team lost on opening night? Well, I'm curious to know how you think the rest of the season would have played out had this unfortunate scenario actually occured. How would it affect the red team's dynamic? Who would be the winner? And who would the current sous chef for the red kitchen be?!
Finale would likely be Justin v Dana, with Justin winning. Plot would dictate Barbie makes it to the finale (the better team's underdog vs. the chef that carries his sucky team) but her cooking skills were way way worse than Dana's. Robyn likely doesn't get transferred, instead she fills up that leadership vacuum that Christina left, and is marginally more succesful in that role than Patrick was the same season. Obviously there's a lot more team switches because of both teams' inconsistencies but I couldn't hazard a guess who gets switched. I don't think Barbie cracks, Christina tolerated her but didn't support her at all, so Barbie holds her own just the same. Brian makes the Black Jackets despite being just as inconsistent. Tavon would unironically probably make it past Chris, depending on what stations they're put. Finally, red team sous chef is likely just some random female chef working for Ramsay. Finally, all normie HK fans would rally around some other overrated winner instead of just admitting Meghan will always be the HK GOAT lol Just some of my takes but yeah great idea for a video, hope Flynn takes it up.
I think Tavon would've still been the first eliminated. But if it was Christina, then I think Justin would've won it all. But I don't think Dana would've been his competitor, because when Danielle got eliminated at the f14, Dana was probably at her lowest and had it not been for Christina being by her side, then I think the trio of kimmie robyn and tiffany would've gotten to dana and her performances would've gotten worse eventually leading to her elimination.
@@jayway211And remember Dana was crying after Danielle eliminated so Dana is the type of girl who is very condepedent to someone and she mostly hiding behind Christina as well. In Season 17, you can see she look lost as Christina becomes the Sous Chef for Red Team and they are not interract very much and she mostly got distracted by Elise vs Michelle feud. But still, she's still bullying Barbie even though Barbie is mostly mind out of her business. Same case with Joy and Kashia in Season 12 as after Kashia got eliminated, Joy looks lost and you know what happened next.
I have a question. What's the worst burn wound ever happened in Hell's Kitchen? Because luckily Gordon caught Michael placing that extremely hot pan because if someone touched that, I think it will be the worst burn wound in HK history
Probably Vanessa on Season 4, since her hand was so badly burned she quit/med-evaced from the competition. Though, Heather on Season 2 and Robert on Season 5 got bad burns as well.
@@heymistercarter.you could also argue Ramsay in season 4 since he got burned on the same hand TWICE by Christina failing to mention the handle was hot.
Maybe it’s a sign of things to come for future HK seasons that the casts are getting more talented… I found myself liking a lot of the contestants in modern seasons, and it seems like the groups as a whole are improving talent wise.
Oh, wait for the COVID aftermath because you know these seasons were done prior to COVID locking everything down tight, God that's going to be a shitshow because I seriously doubt there's going to be any major talent left in the industry after COVID.
I agree. Probably Season 20 is the most peaceful Hell's Kitchen that I have ever seen so far because remember, they all below 25 years old a.k.a Young Guns. Even when they make mistake, they immediately apologize and somehow way better in the next episode. Like how I thought Antonio would be Marc Season 19 2.0 for talking too much, but he later becomes a chill dude when he got switched to Red Team. And My Goodness, I even rooting for everyone in Black Jacket Challenge to get Black Jacket as each of them are likable. Even Brynn the crybaby can be likeable most of the time because she can be a cheerful individual as well. She's just having anxiety hence why she can cry under pressure.
@@InkAndPoet Yup! And spoiler alert: karma and all came back to bite Dannie in the ass and she was eliminated at the top 6 just before black jackets! I wish she got the boot sooner, but let’s just be glad that she didn’t get a black Jacket 😒
Also, both of the team sucks as they lost 3 services in a row while The Red Team finally win after Nicole and Simone got eliminated, The Blue Team still not win after DeMarco get eliminated. How does it take so long for Gordon to realize that DeMarco is the biggest liability of the Blue Team Season 12 that he got nominated 5 times in a row?
And that's why since Season 13, you will never see 20 chefs no more after how much disastrous Season 11 and 12 for having 20 chefs and takes too long. Even though Season 12 is a better progression than Season 11 due to the Blue Team being totally suck.
I was convinced that it would've been the final 5 service, like the one Flynn picked 2 were eliminated, but unlike the one Flynn picked, everyone made a mistake of some sort
But that wasn't due to the team fucking up during service, that was likely to check up on him to see how bad his injury was, as I doubt, he's always informed whenever someone gets hurt during the competition.
Here’s a new video idea, moments that aged really poorly. A couple off the top of my head are Sabrina telling Nona she would go home before her and Alex S20 saying the blue team will do well after losing the signature dish challenge.
I would love to see each HK winner's worst dinner service next!! I think it would be interesting to see if they were put up for elimination, would their mistakes be great enough to get them eliminated! The most notable one after rewatching s10 is Christina's opening night service with the wellingtons. Had her team lost, she would've been nominated the possibly gone home. This would be interesting to see, even for chefs who never got nominated in their runs like Kori, Ryan, and Meghan. :o
So, I was watching your videos on quits and medical evacuations. Have you thought of doing one on all chefs eliminated from the winning team, and/or were eliminated without nomination or giving a plea? After all, that’s how infamous chefs like RaJ and Jeremy were eliminated.
From what it seems like, here's a list of chefs who were eliminated from the winning team: Carol (Season 5) Salvatore (Season 7) RaJ (Season 8) Jeremy (Season 11) Randy (Season 14) Joe (Season 15) Gia (Season 16) Ben (Season 17) And ones who were eliminated without nomination and/or plea: Sharon (Season 4) Colleen (Season 5) Jim (Season 6) Mikey (Season 7) Curtis (Season 8) Gina and Jamie (Season 9) Nicole (Season 12) Mieka (Season 14) It's worth noting that Season 6's Tennille and Season 13's Frank and Sterling were eliminated during the post-service discussions in the kitchen rather than the nomination ceremonies, but I'm not sure whether or not to count those.
@@heymistercarter.Actually, Melissa Season 3 was the first one who got eliminated without plea as her performance getting worst after she got switched team.
You should take all of the worst chefs in each season and rank them all to see which is the worst of all time. Even though we all know #1 would obviously be Raj
@@margarethmichelina5146 I mean take that video and rank those chefs he declared the worst from each season from 21st to 1st to see which of the worst chefs is the worst of all time
You think after the disastrous Chef Andi's wedding celebration night in Season 15, Chef Ramsay will learn to *not* put wedding service anymore in Hell's Kitchen? Moral of the story: Don't celebrate your wedding in Hell's Kitchen.
Having not watched the video yet, if it’s anything but the Trenton wedding episode I will be stunned. The incompetence was so hilarious I watched the service at least 8 times back-to-back Edit: Forgot about the Final 5 but yeah, nailed it.
Some other bad services include: Season 12 3rd Service: Ramsay demanded 3 nominations from each team because it was a trainwreck. Season 12 Final 7 Service: In addition to Gabriel's fish meltdown it also saw Scott nearly getting kicked out, Melanie having her worst night yet, and even Rochelle struggling. Season 15 Final 11 Service: Andi's wedding service and we know how badly that went. I'm surprised Ramsay didn't kick out any chefs. Season 16 Final 5 Service: Terrible black jacket service that didn't get that far on entrees. At least the Season 15 Black Jackets nearly completed their tickets. Season 18 Final 7 Service: Red team was a disaster and even the Blue team had issues.
Don't forget Season 21 Top 5 Black Jacket: The service showing Cheyenne's crash and burnt on fish station as she was also still had head trauma after falling from ATV with Sommer. While Sommer was fine, Cheyenne was still not recovered well. The entire team got kicked out because of Cheyenne and Dafne kept making mistakes.
@@margarethmichelina5146Cheyenne later stated the ATV accident did shake her up mentally and was part of the reason why she struggled in the black jacket service.
“There’s so many things about India that I love. It’s a shame Gaurav isn’t one of them.” “ Fortunately for Michael, he can go back to his job at the senior center. Unfortunately for his residents, it’s as the chef.” “ On a night when the dining room was filled with children, it was Alan who needed a babysitter. He and Kevin should both understand I’m not running a daycare.” “Both kitchens performed horrendously tonight. I’m hoping that by eliminating Matt and Shaina, both teams will finally have a chance at success.” “ Van’s always had one of the loudest voices here. Tonight not only did he lose his voice, but also his dream of becoming my next head chef.” “ Rookies, Veterans. The only title I care about is executive chef. It’s time to see who will lead and who will fall.” “Brittani floundered on the fish station and sank her team which left me with one option, Cut bait.” “ Victoria may have an impressive résumé, but after her performance tonight, there’s one job she won’t be adding to it; Head Chef at Gordon Ramsay Steak.” “ It’s so sad that on Trenton and Macee’s wedding day, I have to say “I don’t” to both Billy and Alyssa.”
You forgot Chef Andi's wedding in Season 15 where: -In challenge, Frank made 2 dishes because he doesn't trust Manda who just transfered to Blue Team and immediately dropping her ribeye without dissusing to the entire team. Both of his dishes got rejected. -Ariel made a dish that resemble "Bison's penis" -Ariel broke her foot -The entire team sucked at dinner servicen -Hassan got eliminated
for season 16 i would’ve chosen the final five service. mistakes were made the entire night, which led to not only the black jackets getting kicked out of the kitchen but a double black jacket elimination (which i think was the first in HK history). the night where they were all supposed to step up as leaders and help run the pass they ended up floundering the most which led to kimberly and paulie being sent home
Actually, Season 9 is the first double Black Jacket elimination as Tommy and Elise got eliminated at same night. And both of S15 and S16 have same issues: The Sous Chefs got break, become their VIPs but the Black Jacket team is a trainwreck. And that's why since Season 17 further, you'll never see Sous Chefs got free day anymore after the disastrous of those 2 seasons in a row.
I have a video suggestion; fascinating, strange, or outright wild cases of foreshadowing. Basically, something happens that, intentionally or not, hints at what happens in a future episode or even season. For example: in season 21 when Cheyanne and Sommer came back from the dune buggy reward, Dafne joked that the three doing the punishment could have been the final three. This was followed by Cheyanne and then Sommer getting eliminated, meaning the three doing that punishment were the final three. Or, in the second service of season 14, the whole blue team was kicked out, but three chefs were kicked out before the rest; Cameron, Michael, and Brandon, the first three eliminated from their team.
You know, this reminds me that I truly did not understand how Declan didn’t win his season. At the final challenge, his last dish was rated way too low considering the praise it got. It has no real flaws according to the judge but it got a 7? It felt totally bogus, but maybe they cut something out.
S12 opening night, Season 8 opening night, season 7 opening night, the first 3 episodes of season 4 and Season 15 episode 5 are the worst services in my opinion
I haven't watched season 20/21 yet, but I'd have to argue S18 charity night service was the worst. Half of Jose's steaks went out raw. It's hard to get much worse than that (maybe if someone sends out all of the meat dish raw and at that point, how tf did you get to the final 10?)
If Gaurav is Indian, I can see why he’d think it’s ok to stick fingers into food after seeing those Indian street food videos. They sometimes actually wash their hands with the liquids they are using in their food.
There was no chef that i hated more than Joy Poor attitude Poor leadership Constantly berated her team tearing down team morale The fact that she quit on the second black jacket service made it feel so good
The chefs that got eliminated from each of these services; Season 12 - Gaurav (Blue) Season 13 - Ashley (Red) Season 14 - Michael (Blue) Season 15 - Kevin (Blue) AND Alan (Blue) Season 16 - Shaina (Blue) AND Matt (Red) Season 17 - Van (Blue) Season 18 - None Season 19 - Brittani (Red) Season 20 - Victoria (Blue) Season 21 - Billy (Blue) AND Alyssa (Red)
12:27 wait why did they intentionally line up the both teams from shortest to tallest hahaha Am I crazy and just never noticed the teams lineup in order of their height 😂😂
I know you did your tier list for Hell’s Kitchen winners, but that’s only based off of individual talent: what if they were put into a different team setting? Behold: the Hell’s Kitchen Gauntlet! Winners from Seasons 1-21, split into two teams. In the Red kitchen, led by Sous Chef Andi, the winners from Seasons 1-10; and in the Blue Kitchen, with the return of Sous Chef Scott, the winners of Seasons 11-21. All winners in their own rights, but only one can be crowned the Ultimate Winner of Hell’s Kitchen. What would be your best guess on all of them: who would be first boot, who would make it into the black jackets, the final two, and in the end, who would be the winner (by your best educated guess)?
Hassan was no different from the red team, he came in with such a nasty tone and was so hostile to lead I lost it when he randomly started screaming and cussing at dannie, leaders can lead without having a hostile ego. dannie asked for a one on one discussion and he disrespectfully refused. they could have come to an understanding easier in private. than again that is not what a leader is. ramsey has one on ones. If he was so great he would have won. profanity doesn’t lead to civil conversation nor does nasty tone, both of which Hassan clearly displayed. is that how he would speak to chef ramsey as he discussed his plan to improve the red team? of course not. we saw the same garbage that happened with Scott from season 7. guess what? both them fell on their faces and were eliminated he’s not chef ramsey, so why act like it. someone is screwing up and failing to accept your leadership, nominate them. HOWEVER he must than admit his screw-ups as well or than he’s useless as a leader
@@lerx_mex7601I agree, and no it’s not scotleys fault 😂 But seriously I agree with everything you said, Hassan was like a immature teen who cussed every 5 seconds like when a kid is home alone without parents, Dannie was a overall better chef than him
@@lerx_mex7601 Hold up, are you the same guy who keeps commenting "Scotley's fault" in every Hell's Kitchen videos even though Scotley already eliminated and not in another season? (Hell's Kitchen channel currently is going to upload Season 10)
How about a Top 5 list of best or worst final service performances? Like going over their menu, placement of people on stations, and making big decisions.
I can safely say that the top five worst casts in HK (my personal list): 1. Season 16 2. Season 4 3. Season 10 4. Season 2 5. Season 7 As far as my top pick: I found the season 16 cast completely hard to sympathize by a mile that I only binged the entire season TWICE. To say that season was a trainwreck on its own is a huge understatement. These were just picks based on a mix of attitudes and abilities.
If I recall S20 Kiya pulled a S8 Melissia when she precooked a bunch of meat. Then she sent up that raw meat. Honestly I was surprised she didn't go home that night.
9:17 I have got do a double take at the thought of someone complaining about casting for personality over talent. Who tf wants to see a show of talented chefs having a swell time in a show called Hell’s Kitchen! Give me the drama and petty fights
Everyone is talking about Hassan getting robbed which is so wrong, Hassan was no different from the red team, he had such a nasty tone and overall a more sounding looking villain than Dannie. Dannie was sharing her own opinion while Hassan just randomly screamed and attacked with such a nasty tone, leaders can lead without having a hostile ego. dannie asked for a one on one discussion and he disrespectfully refused. they could have come to an understanding easier in private. than again that is not what a leader is. ramsey has one on ones. Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for posting this! I was feeling pretty down but as soon as I saw this my mood instantly picked up. Keep doing what you're doing!
I can't Imagine why someone would pay to get in then have to wait 1-2 hours for their food then they wonder why people walk out or confront Gordon over the time they had to wait
I can’t believe how much of the beef Ramsay sends back still looks rather edible. Just give it to the customers for free. Also, so much seafood that just needs to be finished gets thrown or slammed.
16:30 and the worst of it about this service was that it was a wedding dinner service of Hell’s Kitchen YG winner, Trenton…who proposed to his girlfriend after winning.
I've got an idea for two videos; these would be longer, but could be a lot of fun. A ranking/tier list of every HK chef. You could split it into two videos: one for men, one for women, or you could do one massive video if you're feelin brave.
I've seen rumours that something happened regarding Van during the reward prior to the service that led to him being quiet in the service he got eliminated
