@@Caverate For the longest time I didn't realize how important sound was for situational awareness in WT because I come from IRL tanks and transport where, no you can't hear anything when a tank engine is roaring and you are wearing earphones. But... video games...

I believe it is similar to the ''Lost sock syndrome'', if you put a pair of socks into the dryer, at least one always disappears, it is the same with 2 crew tanks, one crew just vanishes without a trace, GAIJIN Triangle strikes again.

It's okay they're just unconscious, they get towed back to the hangar aka pokemon centre and are revived instantly

Can't remember what it's called, but there's a french tank that was removed from the game that has similar pen, but only has APCR. It's rough

No the depressed pyramid (FCM-36) is still in the game, arguably worse than this tank, maybe just equally bad.

​@dalh598.1 You speak of the FCM, that thing gets the same 37mm gun that the old Renault FT-17 got in WW1 with APCR, SOMEWHAT okay armor, and only two crew. It's still in the game, and very unfun to play.

That lvl 137 crew helps a lot. Plus map knowledge and muscle memory for Gaijin controls, that is an order of magnitude better than almost all of the players he was up against.

I understand it's a blend of all the things you mentioned but really, the number of times bawz flanks the entire ennemy team, holding W like he doesn't care and nobody sees or hears him is crazy. And there is the 4 or 5 bounced shots in a raw against insane canons with shitty tanks, i'm like what ? RU-vidrs are the jedis of war thunder I swear.

@@agarrigue002 Well, you are seeing often their best games and highlight reels of the the most interesting sections of games. Like most of us get a bunch of games where you go 2-n-out or a couple of kills, and then you have that one great game where you ace or better. You can see this if you watch the replays of high level players. They do better than average, but not absolutely every game. I stalke errrr.. watched one guy today who got a 18 kill game in mine, and his other games were only oh kay. But yeah, they are good. And that is the problem with WT, it doesn't do performance indexing, so high level players get to freely abuse less skilled/experienced ones (LIke Odd did in this video Ahum!). I think its the thing I hate the most about WT. I hate when it happens to me and I hate when I do it to obviously low skill players.

But fcm 36 is bad Like, that thing can at least do damage if it pens, while fcm just sorta makes one crew member yellow with its apcr

If memory serves, the fuse sensitivities at that time were historically accurate, and went a long way to show how abysmal Gaijin's penetration formula is - there was one French tank, I forget which, that for a few weeks had a fuse sensitivity greater than the shell's penetration at 10 m.

@@eruantien9932 At least Mle1892G had 40mm of pen at that time, so that was a bit of a help. I could swear I remember something similar to that second part, but I could never quite remember. I know the SA18 L/21 had an APHE that could be unlocked and the pen on that at the time was very similar to what Mle1892G currently is (along with the 25mm fuze sensitivity). I think the pen went further down after that first change, resulted in the issue you said, and the shell just removed shortly after.

He has a huge amount of time and suffering invested in this game. Some people, the "Nintendo kids" have a natural feel for video games. Those of us who's parents abused us by making us play outside, usually can't.

I've seen ppl be decently successful with the Type 60. You forget it can fire without exposing itself at all.

It actually has less than a .50 cal, .50 cals have 31mm of pen, this has 27

Non. That's the TC's hatch. Since they put that dorky un-observation dome on top, the only place for a hatch was in the back side. I think he's referring to the hatch in the rear hull and it was another French thing of their prewar designs where they liked having a way of accessing the engine from within the vehicle. Insert joke about poor reliability here.
