As a gay, Randy trying to pull the gay card made me laugh so hard. Like what did he expect to happen? He's say he's gay and Chris would be like "ha my bad, you're still in the competition"

Imagine going on a show called Ink Master... then consistently moaning that you're only specialised in one style.

The fact that Roland was allowed to tattoo anyone after doing that cat is absolutely insane. I know it must’ve been for tv and to allow to judges to rip on someone but cmonnnn man you should not be getting canvas” to come in and allow them to get a tat by him. So disrespectful

Halo's elimination was the most undeserved and heartbreaking. His pieces were beautiful. He is a true artist.

I somehow got to an ink master RU-vid binge, and I gotta say these judges are some of the most biased people, and they genuinely have no reason for some of their critiques.

Roland was either extremely lucky or he bribed the judges to stay because we can all agree that roland's tattoos were literal dog shit

How Roland stayed this far into the competition astounds me, and I'm not even a tattoo artist.

I lost all respect for the judges opinions and choices based on how long they allowed Roland to be in the competition....totally irresponsible to have favoritism towards a contestant who tattoos so poorly.

The ship was nice especially if he was trying to go for a wet paint feel.

Out of curiosity, I looked up Rolands portfolio because I was seriously questioning how he made it on the show. He honestly has a small handful of very nice pieces out of the 33 I looked at. His turtle pieces are very nice, his has a water color owl that’s cute, and he has a very amazing Japanese (I think?) piece with a woman surrounded by Sakura. I do find it funny that he stated that color wasn’t his thing when truly- if it’s not a tribal piece, it’s color. Looking closely at his portfolio however, his technical skills aren’t great. Particularly with outlining and shading. He approaches color in his pieces like painting- which works really really well for some but looks like a childish disaster in others. You can tell he’s from Hawaii in his work. Lots of aquatic and tribal themes- which he excels at along with pretty ladies. Outside of that niche, he does poorly. I also noticed that he’s a painter on the side. It seems like he tries to combine what he is able to achieve on actual canvas/paper to human canvases and not very well. Quite a bit of his better pieces look like clip art in a way. Anyways, I think the judges saw his portfolio and saw the few awesome pieces and were hoping there would be at least one time that he would yield something strong. Sadly, he failed. 😕

That colored eyeball is one of the worst tattoos I’ve ever seen , period. I have no idea how this guy got on national television for a tattoo competition.

I liked how that one judge went: how much can you fault him for the design not being to your preference Cause this ?! They said it themselves that execution was good! Just cause you personally don’t like the design doesn’t make it a bad tattoo.

Chris literally has no chill he’s usually the only one to rip into a decent piece that Oliver and Dave like😂

I still hold that Sausage should have won season 4. He won so many challenges, was kind, and his final tattoo was gorgeous. Scott has this douchey aura that I just can't get past.

I've never been so mad at the judges but I swear the one who was threatening to kick the guy off because they didn't like the *aesthetic* of the tattoo is bull they said themselves it was a great tattoo in terms of quality but you can't send a man home because he's not a people pleaser and drew a design he thought was awesome
