Attaching the lead to the bit is so dangerous please only attach it to the bottom of the nose band so if he spooks the noseband will snap instead of pulling really hard on the bit and hurt him please be careful

remember when your trying to lose weight or eat "healthy", in order for it to be mantainable you should still allow yourself the foods you love, such as chocolate just in moderation! if you completely cut it out it wont be sustainable! instead work on having balanced meals, less packaged foods, lots of protein, and small amounts of your favourite food! the best "diet's" are the ones which do not cut out whole food groups :) (just a bit of advice, feel free to completely ignore it! just from my own personal experience and from the education my mother has given me as a health coach)
Yes! We do.wat balanced meals. The problem is that we are both addicted to and have problems with sugar. If we eat sugar eating healthy no longer becomes maintainable for us!

being led on your first few trails is a great idea. I had been riding for 5 years but still had my dad lead me a few times. I great watching Gabby and Sophie's riding come along

I am so happy to see Gabby helping Sophie like that! It reminds me of me and my sister when we were kids. Now we're grown and she's helping me get back into the horse scene. She helped me find a Foxtrotter and he was the best; he passed away unfortunately. Now I have a Thoroughbred who is challenging me and your videos help me through the tough times with him.
I’m and empath too, it’s weird though because not so much with horses but definitely with dogs, that’s why I think that me and my dog have such a great bond because I understand what he is feeling more than other people do Love you guys ❤️

Sophie is looking good! I can definitely see her getting slimmer, plus she's building loads of muscle from riding. If you guys are keeping track of weight, remember muscle weighs more than fat does. Good luck Sophie, and don't give up, if you get set back a bit just keep pushing forward!❤️
My friend and I race eachother on the straight away parts of the trail and once we went on the trail by the road and we raced a truck, it was so much fun

I am more and more convinced that someone has kidnapped real Sophie and Laura got a twin for her. She is really amazing. Even the fall she had didn't affect her confidence in a trail ride, that little bit of tension she had was only because of the bad trail experiences. I am so proud of her, you can't even imagine it
There are arm bands like things with a pocket for your phone (runners use them a lot). Also leg ones for your thigh if that’s more comfortable for you. I really recommend them, that way if you guys ever get separated on the trail you can call each other. I really like it because not all my breeches have a pocket big enough for my phone.
What a beautiful place!! You should definitely take some pictures of the girls on the horses walking down the trail when the foliage turns. It would be absolutely gorgeous. Gabby is such an amazing big sister. Her and Sophie have such a beautiful bond. 💕💕

My Mom was like you as far as having good energy. She worked full time into her 60’s. When not working she was a wonderful cook and gardener. She passed in 1999 from metastatic cancer. I saw on a horse website, a Gypsy vanner x with a Missouri foxtrotter. So there are gaited Gypsy’s! Maybe that’s something to look into to. The best of both worlds!!
My daughters Birthday month is this month too!. She was born on the 28th, but we are celebrating on the 26th since the 28th is on a weekday and everyone has to work. She is going to be turning 3. I totally get what you say about being an empath, since I am an empath as well.

I’m so so exited, my family just bought another horse yesterday! 3 weeks after our last one lol. It was super spontaneous and spur of the moment, but we’ve known this horse for 3 months and we just decided to make him ours😊He’s a 2 year old paint gelding that is literally the sweetest animal. I can imagine you loving him Laura. His name is Arrow. I’ll start him under saddle in another couple years but until then I’m so exited to get to know him and love him!

I thought Sophie looked like she is losing weight. She's also growing taller as her legs are almost at the base of Finns belly. There's lots of delicious sugar free treats out there Laura, just requires a bit of cooking. In particular, keto connect on RU-vid have some delicious treats., in particular, i like their chewy choc chip cookies. Also, not sure if you have in Canada, but Noshu chocolate cupcake mix is one of the tastiest cupcakes I've ever eaten. And the Chobani fit yoghurt are tasty as, high in protein, low in carbs and sugar. So many options out there, its just finding what tastes she likes. You could all help her too by eating the same foods as her to prevent temptations from being in the house. Well done Sophie. 2020 has been dreadful for many but I feel like it's been good for you. So many positive changes. Keep up the great effort. You got this.

We were gluten free for 3 years and our healthiest ever! I bought her sugar free chocolate the other day and she loves it. I have cut out sugar as well but sam and gabby are struggling.
@@DayByDayVlogs she's a superstar. So many positive changes and so fabulous that you are all trying to support her. It's so hard to cut out sugar. Scans in research show that sugar lights up the same area of the brain as illicit drugs. It certainly is addictive that's for sure.

I really recommend this vlog. Particularly today's vlog. I saw 2 things I think could be really good for you. The Equitex saddle pads which I think are amazing and offer some technology that makes their fit especially good. Also a fitted bridle. She mentions having a bit & bridle fitter come out to fit one of her horses who was throwing his head and seemed unhappy with his bit. I thought immediately of Finn. Laura....Gabby taking Sophie off is what needed to happen. Gabby wouldn't let anything happen to her...but Gabby also as her older sister will push her, encourage and probably do a little insisting that Sophie be brave. You baby her...which is normal, Gabby doesn't. Them disappearing with you out of site is exactly what Sophie needed....and look what she accomplished.
