i was with my family and i had just started watching football more. we are all vikings fans and liked the eagles. i remember all of us standing up eyes glued to the tv. we were shocked from the ending. it was something i had never seen before and haven’t seen since.

I am a Bear fan, and that was incredibly disappointing. By the way, it didn’t hit the upright twice, it hit the upright and the crossbar. Same result, of course.

Marty was worried about that "gleeem" wtf. Just couldn't quite get it done. That 14-2 Chargers team was his best chance and they blew the "gleeem" again, even his 13-3 Chiefs team had that "gleeem" what happened to the "gleeem" never heard that phrase in a huddle of players. Marty list me that time.

He was an amazing head coach but his playoff chokes weren't really his fault. He allowed a 98 yard drive, had his running back fumble at the ONE YARD LINE to win the game, had his kicker miss three field goals and lose 10-7 and a few other chokes. RIP Marty Schottenheimer

I agree, Seahawks would've become a dynasty and Tom Brady's career would've been altered.

America never forgave Pete Carroll for his decision. Not running the football with Marshawn Lynch and failing to beat the Patriots is a disservice to the NFL. I was not following the NFL when it happened, and I don't hate Tom Brady.

The Seahawks blew that dynasty short with that short goal line pass, just didn't use the right Beast Mode hahaha. And that Falcon's SB meltdown against Brady, watch Atlanta burn a second time. I couldn't imagine how Matty Ice felt finally getting the Falcons a seemingly easy SB win up by four tds at the half and implode.

@@LiamDeege that would’ve been Brady’s 3rd straight loss in the Super Bowl and yeah his trajectory would’ve been different. We would’ve still recognized him as an All-Time Great but he wouldn’t be the goat necessarily.

@@deaniart yeah man that truly was one of the biggest what ifs in SPORTS HISTORY. Not to mention had Seattle won they’ve would’ve been back to back champs and Russ would’ve been able to say he beat both Manning & Brady in back to back Super Bowls. We’d definitely look at Russ differently had they won that Super Bowl and I think the LOB would’ve had a longer run. It’s sad how that team fell apart after this epic loss.

Thank God for Joe Burrow and Germaine Pratt for delivering us that win against Raiders in 2021. Otherwise, I would still be stewing about the result of that game even almost 10 years later.

As a Pittsburgh fan, I do feel bad for the amount of pain the Bengals have faced, but there is not a single player I've hated more than ever than Vontaze Burfict, he should've been banned from the league after that hit on Brown and all of his other fines and dirty plays. He'll never learn.

Yes but he at least owned that Bone Head call. And that was the last time The Seahawks were in the SB. And I'm A life long Seattle fan. I grew up wishing for a NFL team and when they Announced that we had a expansion team. And me and my dad went to the first preseason game and watched Them play the 49'ers and it was a rollercoaster of emotions. The game came down to the last possession with us needing a TD to tie but we ran Out of time and lost 27 to20.

Woo, it worked! Some observations: -While the above names all use current locations, I counted any location for the same team as a clip. So the Oakland Raiders clips are in the Las Vegas Raiders tally, for example. Houston Oilers clips are under the Tennessee Titans. -There was no team that wasn't shown losing at least twice. Three teams were never shown winning - the Bengals, Lions, and Texans. -The Giants were the most frequent winner, edging out the Patriots. Both those teams were shown succeeding far more than the next highest (KC/PIT at 12). They also share in having the best differential, along with Seattle, which was shown less overall but had the minimum 2 losses. -The Lions were the most frequently shown loser. Combined with having no wins, that easily gives them the worst differential, and the most pain. The Chiefs, Cowboys, and Bills were all near runners-up, but Dallas having only 3 clips in its favor (very surprising to me!) meant they suffered the second-worst differential. -The Texans appeared in just two clips. Given their shorter history and relative lack of notable games even during their tenure, this is not surprising. -I was pleasantly surprised to see that my Vikings ran nearly even. For all the hallmark losses, they've given about as good as they get. Other notes not in the table: -Eagles over the Giants was the most frequent specific outcome, happening five times. Bears over Lions was next with four occurrences. 4 outcomes happened three times: Giants over 49ers, Chiefs over Raiders, Steelers over Ravens, and Commanders over Cowboys. -Eagles/Giants was the most common matchup with seven total instances. I don't think any other matchup exceeded four instances. -I wasn't specifically looking at any breakdowns of which teams were under which category, I just happened to notice that the first five "Nickname" clips all included the Raiders on one end or the other. 6 of the I think 11 clips in that category had the Raiders in them. I just thought that was neat/weird.
