That SD Chargers game around the 8 minute mark, when they played the patriots, makes me feel so bad for Marty Schottenheimer. He told that player before the game that he would make an interception and coached him to get down. He did not get down, fumbled, and Marty was fired after going 14-2. He had the worst luck but was an amazing HC
@aarondigby5054

Marty was worried about that "gleeem" wtf. Just couldn't quite get it done. That 14-2 Chargers team was his best chance and they blew the "gleeem" again, even his 13-3 Chiefs team had that "gleeem" what happened to the "gleeem" never heard that phrase in a huddle of players. Marty list me that time.
@blueberry_juice

He was an amazing head coach but his playoff chokes weren't really his fault. He allowed a 98 yard drive, had his running back fumble at the ONE YARD LINE to win the game, had his kicker miss three field goals and lose 10-7 and a few other chokes. RIP Marty Schottenheimer

Super Bowl XLIX will forever be my Favorite Super Bowl of ALL-TIME‼️🔥 I truly remember being EMOTIONALLY INVESTED in that game, and the way the Seahawks lost just was SO WILD to me‼️ I was definitely a Brady fan so I was rooting for him to win can’t lie 🤷‍♂️😂 but that Seattle team was truly something special to watch in their prime and they could’ve been the next dynasty team.

The Seahawks blew that dynasty short with that short goal line pass, just didn't use the right Beast Mode hahaha. And that Falcon's SB meltdown against Brady, watch Atlanta burn a second time. @@deaniart yeah man that truly was one of the biggest what ifs in SPORTS HISTORY. Funny how more than once they followed a brutal Chiefs loss to a similarly crazy Chiefs win, especially in the fumble part. Showing a game-winning, last-minute fumble recovery TD in primetime against KC and then immediately after showing a game-winning, last-minute fumble recovery TD in primetime BY KC. Also as a Bengals fan, I was telling myself, "We're gonna be on the penalty part twice, aren't we?" Turns out I was right :( Also also didn't realize how unlucky the Lions and especially Giants were against 60+ yard field goals.

1995 steelers at packers. Final seconds. Steelers down 24-19, have a 4th and goal deep in Packers territory. Neil o'donnell throws a perfect pass to pro bowl reciever, yancey thigpen. Thigpen is wide open, but he dropped the ball. Green bay takes over, and they win their first division title since 1982. That was more of a heartbreaker for the lions since Detroit would've won the nfc central with a Pittsburgh win. The steelers already had a first round bye, and the chiefs were already the #1 seed. So bill cowher had no gain from winning, or any loss by losing

I haven't watched all the way yet but that 2010-11 Deshaun Jackson punt return to beat the Giants also sent the Packers to the playoffs, and the pack won the SB that year. Also the worst way to lose was the 4th and 26 McNabb to Pinkerton. The Packers beating the bears 4th and 18 Rodgers to Cobb was a crazy one, and who could forget the miracle in the motor city? Props to NFL Throwback to acknowledging that the officiating was deliberately bad at 50:44. If I was a Rams fan, I would not have been frustrated at losing Super Bowl 53.

I feel the scientific design of the football out classes the players by leaps and bounds. It's ability to land in someone's hands without that person even realizing it is fantastic yet it's ability to seem to resist a persons attempts at picking it up off the ground while in play is quite comical. Richard Lindon and William Gilbert, you're the real champions.

Should have added "losing the coin toss" where the team loses the coin toss in OT and watches as the opponent goes on to score the game winning td or field goal.

Jake the Snake Elliott in the 2017 kicked a 61 yard field goal which is an NFL Record by a rookie was the reason that the Eagles won the super bowl championship in the first place thanks to that tremendously nice play on 4th and 1 You Want Philly Philly? and coach Pederson says..... I don't know if it was an accident or be design that the video was essentially bookended by Paul Allen, but I like. So, because I'm curious and also a nerd, I decided to do some stats. There are 256 clips in this video (assuming I counted right - with this many, it's easy to potentially miss one). I went ahead and tabulated wins and losses for each team. (The ATL-PIT tie was discarded, because that's not a win or a loss.) Below is the table for the wins and losses, the difference between them, and how often each team was featured overall. (Please let the formatting not suck on this.) TEAM WINS LOSSES DIFF TOTAL Arizona Cardinals 4 8 -4 12 Atlanta Falcons 8 6 2 14 Baltimore Ravens 8 8 0 16 Buffalo Bills 7 13 -6 20 Carolina Panthers 3 5 -2 8 Chicago Bears 9 4 5 13 Cincinnati Bengals 0 5 -5 5 Cleveland Browns 6 12 -6 18 Dallas Cowboys 3 13 -10 16 Denver Broncos 9 9 0 18 Detroit Lions 0 14 -14 14 Green Bay Packers 10 9 1 19 Houston Texans 0 2 -2 2 Indianapolis Colts 8 9 -1 17 Jacksonville Jaguars 10 4 6 14 Kansas City Chiefs 12 13 -1 25 Las Vegas Raiders 9 6 3 15 Los Angeles Chargers 9 11 -2 20 Los Angeles Rams 7 5 2 12 Miami Dolphins 5 8 -3 13 Minnesota Vikings 9 10 -1 19 New England Patriots 18 11 7 29 New Orleans Saints 10 11 -1 21 New York Giants 19 12 7 31 New York Jets 9 3 6 12 Philadelphia Eagles 11 7 4 18 Pittsburgh Steelers 12 6 6 18 San Francisco 49ers 11 10 1 21 Seattle Seahawks 9 2 7 11 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3 7 -4 10 Tennessee Titans 8 7 1 15 Washington Commanders 9 5 4 14

Woo, it worked! Some observations: -While the above names all use current locations, I counted any location for the same team as a clip. So the Oakland Raiders clips are in the Las Vegas Raiders tally, for example. Houston Oilers clips are under the Tennessee Titans. -There was no team that wasn't shown losing at least twice. Three teams were never shown winning - the Bengals, Lions, and Texans. -The Giants were the most frequent winner, edging out the Patriots. Both those teams were shown succeeding far more than the next highest (KC/PIT at 12). They also share in having the best differential, along with Seattle, which was shown less overall but had the minimum 2 losses. -The Lions were the most frequently shown loser. Combined with having no wins, that easily gives them the worst differential, and the most pain. The Chiefs, Cowboys, and Bills were all near runners-up, but Dallas having only 3 clips in its favor (very surprising to me!) meant they suffered the second-worst differential. -The Texans appeared in just two clips. Given their shorter history and relative lack of notable games even during their tenure, this is not surprising. -I was pleasantly surprised to see that my Vikings ran nearly even. For all the hallmark losses, they've given about as good as they get. Other notes not in the table: -Eagles over the Giants was the most frequent specific outcome, happening five times. Bears over Lions was next with four occurrences. 4 outcomes happened three times: Giants over 49ers, Chiefs over Raiders, Steelers over Ravens, and Commanders over Cowboys. -Eagles/Giants was the most common matchup with seven total instances. I don't think any other matchup exceeded four instances. -I wasn't specifically looking at any breakdowns of which teams were under which category, I just happened to notice that the first five "Nickname" clips all included the Raiders on one end or the other. 6 of the I think 11 clips in that category had the Raiders in them. I just thought that was neat/weird.

This video would be AMAZING if you had little graphics cards with the date/context (playoff, regular season) of the game. Still a good video, just a suggestion.
