Watching this I realize the “cancelled 90% of orders” line is confusing considering we got 450 … the ORIGINAL order was mostly cancelled. We only got 450 from scrounging across the internet over the course of 2 all nighters at a small loss - I need to start better clarifying things in videos and not in text lol … maybe if I didn’t try to multi task working and making videos I’d be better at this. Whatever it’s fine okay I’m done - stop reading this and watch the stupid video I didn’t work hard on at all

Bro don’t worry about not having a good birthday be happy for what you have built man some times you gotta sit down and say you know what things don’t always work out but I built something and i did everything professional as possible and honestly if someone was mad over an order then whatever fam . I would have been happy you gave my money back instead of holding onto it . And the fact that you made it possible for me to get it later is awesome . So remember we have ups and downs and you’re still up if you have a business to run . Respect fam

So were the 151 orders that were filled not from the reprint? I waited to order 151 from anyone on the chance that the new print didnt have those awful print lines on the reverse holos, which I believe was an issue across most (if not all) of prints thus far. Would kinda suck if everyone got boosters from the older print runs if they were in the same boat as me, assuming they werent gonna keep em sealed. Btw, lookin yolked man. Keep up them gainz lmao

Hi everyone and PokeNE. I am considering opening a Pokémon Card shop after watching your videos and realised I should follow my passion and I might turn this store in person as well since I used to run an anime merchandise shop before and miss it. I got a few questions if it's alright. I am planning to start off small, like 2-3 booster boxes of recent sets or the new Twilight Masquerade set which comes out this May. Is it a wise idea to open the boxes and sell card loose, maybe even grade it or just re-sell the booster boxes? Because I am kind of inclined to open and sell it as stock but I might be wrong. My last question would be, I tried to look for a video describing how to price cards, do I look at CardMarket and others relevant stores for price? Also, what should be the correct process to handle cards for shipping? Like bulk, valuable cards, I guess each is treated differently with different packaging. Thank you for the reply. I really appreciate what you do

Mistakes are going to happen. The business model definitely has some risks with things like this happening but it is all about if/how things are rectified when these things pop up. Glad to hear it's being worked through. Glad the prices are hanging out where it can be done reasonably without too much pain.

Here for 151! Imo as the random on the internet you did the right thing by sending the money back. Transparency is a massive key to keeping customer trust! That's alright buddy, I almost had that happen to me for 151, sold 200 boxes, my supplier almost canceled Half and scared me but came through. I know its way scarier at your levels. But your persistence and opportunity and risk taking is worth it even if some don't work out. The customer service through the mishap is worth it cause your trustworthiness is engrained in the buyers memory and you'll only keep building that customer base.

Good for you for being transparent. I will say though that pre-orders are never a smart thing to do your distributor or their distributor is not always predictable unless you have total control over the situation you should not be accepting money for product you do not have in your hands. Think how much easier it would have been to just get those boxes in and then let everybody know you have in your possession this product and go from there. Yo come out of this just fine you have a reputation that exceeds you you have competitive pricing and great marketing. You'll be just fine

Pre-orders deffs have risk but overall they are the only way to be succesful if you want to be on top. If competition is doing them, you need to too because otherwise interest is dried out by release. Obviously in hindsight I wouldnt have done it with 151 but ive done this model with every set since Shiny Star V and i probably netted 500K profit because of it. Sure you lose sometimes but thats part of the deal

The video was one of our best performing as far as like/dislike ratio. People were entertained and got a cheaper price than any other store offered. Sucked it was a major failure but everything is a lesson learned. Regardless, the market price is still way north of $100 and everyone still has dibs on their box(es) for $80. No real losers here except me and I 100% own that. Sorry to hear I won't have your business though; can't please everyone and thats okay
