Great review, thanks! 5000 solves is some dedication! I love that you spent some serious time with the cube before drawing conclusions. I recently switched back from Gan 11 to the WRM 2020 as my main (and yeah, Lunar+Stardust is the way to go!), and I’ll probably get the 2021 Lite at some point.

I've been waiting for this! I needed a review from a fellow Light Turner. JPerm, for example, says that Setting 5 is basically Non-Magnetic. You, however, can still feel the Magnets.
yep lol, although i think jperm had the same experience as i did, like i said the magnets felt suuuuuuper weak when i first tried the cube but they gradually got more noticeable. since jperm’s video was just an unboxing/first impressions he probably hadn’t had time to let the magnets sorta get stronger

Awesome video! You had a great unboxing and review, and the way you put them both in one video was a nice way of watching it. Also I really liked the humor and personality you put into the video. Not too many people do that, at least not that well. I try to have humor in my videos but I don't think I do it as well as you do. If you're an accurate Turner go for tornado v2. If you're fast or you use cfop instead of roux use wrm21 cuz it has better corner cutting. At base tornado v2 has a better feel of turn ( feel doesn't mean speed or smoothness it just means how premium It feels) than the wrm21. Wrm21 is kinda sandy but most people who buy any one of these cubes will probably have a weight 5 and a mystic or a dnm37 so if you ask me. If you're starting from base from nothing then go for tornado cuz you can use any random weight 5 and it's gonna be fine but if you have Mystic or if you can afford then buy a weight 5 (use on tracks and in core if needed), mystic (pieces) and dnm on pieces but don't need to remove pieces from cube to drop. Just drop it normally. I'd recommend you to go for wrm since it's an overall better cube. It has faster speed, better corner cutting, primary internals (which I think are superior to black internals i.e personal opinion), and a better spring tension and screw tension set up. Yes tornado's system is better than wrm21's system bcs screw system is a little hard to understand As both of them are divided into 2 parts but people who have experience with cubes and people who know what they are doing will probably go for wrm21 but they don't tell you in RU-vid videos cuz they know it's not a simple thing to understand and as they are making video for a bunch of people they suggest the simpler one but if you ask me I'd say wrk21 actually has more Customisibility than tornado v2 but it's not that simple for every one. See you want one good cube if I were you I'd go with wrm21 cuz it's overall a better cube which will probably last longer and works better overall.
@@nexus2223 you see, a lot of this is personal preference. both the tornado and the wrm 2021 can be set up in a lot of different ways to accomplish different things and different feels so you cant really say one setup is perfect for a cube, and you definitely can't say one is better than another, theyre just different. also "premium" is not a good word to use when describing a cube. in general i'd say people who want more stability and control should go for the tornado v2 and people with lighter turning who want less turning effort and more speed should go for the wrm 2021. neither one is better or worse.
You know what else is a crime? The tornado v3 box is supposed to fit a 55.5 mm cube perfectly, but my RS3m FITS INSIDE PERFECTLY WHAT THE HECK MOYU ISNT IT SUPPOSED TO BE 56?

nah i lubed the springs with vortex even though they probably didn’t need it. i’m not sure if the spring noise would’ve come back if i hadn’t done that though.
In any case, even cubes that are good ootb needs setup. It's a given nowadays. It's a great time to get flagships (just saw the Tornado's price cut and it rivals the WRM Lite's... and I haven't mentioned the discount code yet). With these prices, I consider the MeiLong the True Budget Cube, and the RS3M as a "midranger".
@@felimonerguiza7512 i agree. i feel like any cube over $30-$35 isn’t really worth getting anymore, or at least not in terms of value. it really is a fantastic time to be a speedcuber.
you can feel a difference but the strong setting is still pretty weak, i suggest looking at the gts3 or the tornado if you want a stronger magnetic feel

How do you setup your wrm 2021 (non maglev) like lubes, how many clicks, magnets. And btw my wrm 2021 plastic on the inside feels ‘soft’? Theres no factory lube or anything, and that soft plastic is why i can’t use the cube, it always catch on pieces.
Has your wr m 2021 clicked at all? I really want to get this cube but it seems like some people are getting theirs with loose magnets which makes a clicking sound so it’s very worrying for me because I really want this cube.
it hasn’t happened to me but i wouldn’t really worry about it unless the sound bothers you. adjustable magnets by design have to be loose in order to be adjusted, so they often have wiggle room and click. i don’t think they’ll be coming out though
modern cubes aren’t “better” than each other anymore. they’re all basically equal in terms of performance, so it’s more about finding one you like instead of finding “the best”. the rs3m 2020 is much heavier, more stable, and not as fast as the wrm 2021. if you think you’d like those traits then the rs3m is the way to go. also since the rs3m is so cheap it’s probably a good choice anyway.
gan cubes come lubed from the factory, so adding more lube on top of that typically just makes a mess. i usually do end up cleaning the cube and applying my own lube between the unboxing and review sections of my videos though.
