Minister Driscoll's many good qualities as a man & as a believer, outnumber his past words, actions. I like him among most American Minsters. He seems like the real deal.
I did not minor in the philistine teachings; I majored in them. I pray that though my past was marred with disobedience, I will repent and follow God's word again. May I make friends with believers and separate myself from the world. Amen.

While this sermon was primarily focused toward men, it was informative and helpful to me as a Christian woman married to my Christian husband of 50+ years. We've learned to be lifetime learners, continuing to develop and grow in our faith, marriage and family. Pastor Driscoll's teaching style draws us into the message, bringing it into current life situations. Jesus is our Lord; my husband is the spiritual leader of our family; I submit to my husband's authority as we walk hand in hand. I'm truly a blessed and joyful wife.
Thank you for the encouragement, as a man married to a strong willed women I continue to pray to the LORD that he continues to use me so I can represent him the right way which would be a great example for my spouse. You don’t have to bark and demand anything. You pray and lead by example. If they follow great if not so be it but continue and never give up
And why is this so. Well, let me tell you. God the word has so written the man is to be the provider and the protector and the woman is to be the keeper of the home. Children are to be educated in the home. Men are not to touch a woman until after marriage.

I truly enjoy Pastor Mark’s Sermons! I watch all of them - even on the App! This sermon was especially good and insightful. May I ask that you consider addressing the flip side of this situation as well? Yes - Toxic women really ruin a man’s life ( my brother can testify to this ) I request some Godly teaching to the reverse of roles to this: an Ahab man who does not provide for his family and gets violent and abusive when confronted with the truth. Please help a sister in Christ out - how do we protect ourselves and our kids?
I'm 63 and a widow now. I wish we would have had a Pastor like Mark to teach us when we were young. I married an ungodly man but stayed with him as he did eventually give his heart to the Lord even though he did not act as a Godly father for the most part. We went through so much turmoil. What makes it sad is that we were not the best Godly parents and now our children are not following Jesus. I pray for them continually of course. So thank you for being such an upstanding Pastor teaching men how to be Godly husbands, along with being Godly wives.
As a Christian woman who is trying her best every day, I thank you for this sermon and all others I have been listening to. Who you marry definitely is the second most impactful decision of anyone’s life. I LOVE the idea of the mystery box when reading the Bible. I always wonder why God hardened Pharaoh’s heart when dealing with Moses. That’s just one example. Let me also put all of the book of revelations in there 😅

Young men would do well to listen to this man. I wish i would have heard this as a young man. I pray that all young men heed these instruction on life with the guidance of the holy spirit and and open heart and mind.
The wrong man can ruin a woman's life. Fornication is a sin. A Christian does not fornicate. A lot of churches don't preach against fornication. A male and female are not supposed to kiss, hold hands or even snuggle up to someone that's not their spouse. Mark seems to think little of women. Jezebel spirit is not found in The Bible.
True- and the wrong man can definitely ruin a woman’s life as well. Yes it is men who are mostly likely to be abusive controlling and violent with their partner, It is more likely that the man will sexually abuse his children or other children. And if he is a drunk or drug addict or irresponsible with money forget about it. Laides always make sure you have your own money and bank account in case this man turns on you once married. Be financially able to escape with yoiur children.
As a Christian, I am still alone. On the one hand, I'm sad that I'm going through life alone. On the other hand, I would only accept a Christ who loves Jesus as much as I do. And I love Jesus so much that I now believe that I can't even fall in love with another man. I love Jesus so much that there is no room for another man.

The true weaknesses is in the father, and how he chose to identify with the sons passions, probably thinking to himself or out loud. Yes, son she is pretty hot let’s make this happen.
And this can also happen to a man. That he loves Jesus so much that he is no longer interested in women. Especially if he hasn't found one in his life so far. Maybe it will be too late at some point.

Well then I guess Mark Driscoll must be a feminist because he goes out of his way to mention many times in each of his sermons on Jezebel that there are just as many men infected by the Jezebel Spirit as women. For example....there were waaaay too many "men" in Lindell's men's conference who agreed with allowing a male stripper onstage to warm up the crowd. Unfortunately there are alot of insecure men in the comment sections who bristle at a woman wanting reassurance from Christian men that they understand women can be abused by a Jezebel man and to keep that potential demonic influence in their lives in check.
When women start unaliving men for leaving, then we can talk about how the men are truly suffering. This fake preacher hates women and teaches others to do the same.
The man and the woman need to pray for each other together and pray for blessings and understanding from God because God is forever to tend to them. One always loves more than another and between the 2 they both know.

Perhaps barren women should not pray for children? Seems the only virtue Samson had stemmed from his mother's faith, basiclly outside of or inspite of himself.
All this focus on this and that. And the most scary thing is the spiritual MOTB from 2017. People have sold their souls. There is no longer light in the person. What they do now makes no difference anymore because you can't get your soul back. They cant even repent because Satan cannot forgive sins. And yet not 1 teaching preparing the person for the realization of what it means to sell your soul. What path they have chosen!!!

Then Abraham would not have had to send anyone away. Again and again, even prophets, as men, react to the danger of giving themselves too much to a woman. A woman doesn't actually do that. A woman is not so easily influenced. If it's not really love, I don't react at all.however, the man must already be well-groomed. Of course, an unkempt man doesn't get my attention either.

Man take it easy on Samson if you love the scripture. Samson was told to marry a phillistine. "His parents did not know that this was from the Lord, who was seeking an occasion to confront the Philistines; for at that time they were ruling over Israel." Yeah I get your message but Samson was of the lord, sent for a mission. Literally from birth as a Nazarite. What's next, Hosea? Should both of those men ignore the word of God? To say "(their) parents failed" is a stretch, in these particular circumstances (both Hosea and Samson choosing women because the Lord told them). At least Samson's first crush.

Easy to pick on women but my experience having hundreds of employees over 35 years of work 99% of the problems in the home was the man Church affiliation meant nothing and often times that abuse was worse than the drunken husband No, I don’t have any scientific evidence of my sample base, but the evidence year by year was overwhelming It was the man Also, in my church life again over many many years, it was the man that was causing the problems not the woman So you may be eloquent with your words and your storytelling, but I think you’re barking up the wrong tree

Pastor mark isn’t bashing us… he has also warned us, as women what men to avoid. Watch his “most controversial sermon ever”, it is amazing. He has sermons for both men & women, and I adore that.
