In this 11 minute video, Zac takes a flight and makes another visit to the beautiful island of Alderney and visits Stranger’s Cemetery. This cemetery has a large memorial stone that has a direct connection to the nearby cemetery the German Forces built during the occupation of the island. By the time the island was liberated in May 1945, there were a total of seventy graves in the German Cemetery.
Filmed during late autumn 2022, Zac shows where it was located with the help of contemporary photos, and explains what happened to it post-war.
With his usual charisma and sense of humour, Zac makes this an interesting and watchable film for both adults and children.
