@@RoboPFr. Bro had ENOUGH of Sinister’s shit. This is the Cyclops I love. Dude came out the cage standing on BIG BIDNESS and went straight to WORK. He had nothing but MURDER on his mind. Gave Sinister no I’m talking ZERO CHANCE to recover.
best cartoon ever, for me... Batman TAS, the original TMNT, and X-men... All on another level. Kids these days will NEVER KNOW WHAT A SATURDAY MORNING WAS. We had Batman, Xmen, and Power Rangers all lined up!
miamimagicians magician miami I know I miss those days. I loved saturdays because I got to watch Ben 10 Teen titans Young justice league and Spider man but bow they stop doing that for some reason.
My dad used to get so pissed off Saturday mornings with me. Mon-fri was a fight to get me up before 7:30, but Saturday it was like I had some internal clock for cartoons and could wake up at 6:45 before they began at 7:00
@Skeeter Valentine I had to re-watch the video again because I never paid attention to this detail. My answer would be, nothing? LOL. I don't see him do anything other than carrying the Professor when the whole building collapsed.
Yeah, and they didn't have disney paying for them back then, infact I think this series was one of marvels biggest gambles and might have died out if it wasn't a success
kelman727 In the episode magneto was super drained of his power - that’s why he was straining and doing simple shit. Sinister sucked out his essence and put it into Vertigo, before this clip is her testing her new increased powers on them. I can’t believe I remember that lol.
Magneto barely ever actually fights against the X-Men in this cartoon. They constantly treat him like an enemy but literally the only time they wrote him as one was in the first episode.
@@JDA2185 it was waaay to much when things were normal. In battle I understand but when you are just having a regular conversation it's ridiculous and annoying
*Mister Sinister:* "Don't give up, now, you fools! We still have the advantage! It's not over yet!" _X-Men Opening Theme starts playing_ *Mister Sinister:* "...Alright, fall back. We're screwed."
It's amazing and very sad that after almost twenty years and millions of $$$, the X-men movies still haven't been able to deliver action scenes that satisfy like this.
@@human.j.vitor9981 Some movies do a great job, even being better than the source material on occasion, but the foX-Men fail time and time again. A damn shame really.
@@human.j.vitor9981 that was garbage , it wasn't even a battle. Just a the sentinels wiping out the Xmen . They had the opportunity for something cool with the past sentinels, but ruined that one as well. There is never a cool battle with the classic sentinels . I was hoping to see it , but they pissed it away for magneto taking them over with those steel rods
That's is the great debt of all the comic superhero movies . A great battle between different characters and different powers... Airport scene in Civil War was good ..but we know they were pulling their punches
The film should've had Mr. Sinister as the villain instead of doing the Dark Phoenix again, especially since we know thanks to the ending of DOFP that Jean is still alive when she's 30-40 year old, so of course she won't die in the past and thus there's no tension.
This fight is the epitome of win! Everybody is going all over the place, lasers and explosions are rampant, and all while this awesome rock theme is going on in the background. I really need to find this series to relive the nineties.
Which was weird since Cyclop's eye beams are concussive force and not heat radiant. It's more of a physical force blast than a blast that can melt substances like Superman's heat vision.
@@_Just_Another_Guy It's still concussive or kinetic power that is RAW enough in strength to damage someone like Sinister. Also this way probably WAY before they fully defined "Scott's optic blasts aren't heat" kinda deal. Even though they still seem to sometimes forget that.
Two things that makes this scene epic. One, when that theme song hits, all hell breaks loose. And second, Cyclops is a badass. Love he keeps blasting the shit out of Sinister here lol. I hope we get this Cyclops in the MCU when the X-men gets introduced.
Sinister kidnapped Jean on the previous episode. Before any of the X-Men were kidnapped Sinister had his sights on Jean and successfully took her. Cyclops (and Wolverine didn't like this one bit). To be honest, if this was rated R, Logan and Cyclops would have decimated everyone in that place once Morph destroyed the machine. What Cyclops didn't vaporise with his optic blast, Logan with his beserker slashing would have turned them all into mince meat.
This fight was so satisfying as a kid, and still is, felt like forever waiting for these guys to get what they had coming to them, seeing Scott finally tee off
The Budget significantly increased since the show was at its height in popularity. You can tell the put so much work into the epic fight scene. The scene was so bad ass to see the whole team working together. Even Magneto was helping to take down Sinister and Magneto saved the whole team at the very end while the building was crumbling. Us 80 and 90s Kids were so spoiled to have been given this ICONIC episode.
@walker1984 I am talking comics. Storm and cyclops fought for the leadership of the X-men in uncanny X-men and she won. Also at one point in jim lee's run the X-men had two teams, blue and gold. Storm led gold while cyclops led blue. Storm's leadership is on the level of scott's if not higher, it's why she's 2nd in command of the X-men.
God I remember that Episode, It was the Best Episode EVER!!!, and one of my top ten all time Favorite X-Men The Animated Series Episode, also whenever I hear that instrumental Theme, I just know that they're Going to open a Can of Whoop-A** on the bad guys.
I agree 100% because all through the Season Xavier was gone so they had to deal with a lot of things on their own. Like Rogue dealing with her pas regarding Carol, Gambit dealing with his past as well.
Why was to show so freaking amazing???? The writing, the animation, the fight scenes, the dialogues, the chracterization, everything was amazing I dont think any x-men movie or tv show could ever top this one
One of the biggest problem with live action X-men films is they ignore the strategic fight scenes they’re trained to fight multiple enemies at once I miss this about them
These action scenes when the X Men track plays and the confrontation begins were always exciting, and advice to Mr. Sinister, never in your life disturb a honeymoon, this makes the groom furious
0:43 Professor X: "My legs!" cut to Cyclops charging up....ready to go. This scene, the whole fight is one of the few things that gives me chills in animation...and it has from Day 1 as a kid. It is PERFECT. As soon as I see that image of Cyclops charging up, I'm like "It's on". And of course, 1:06 - 1:22 is just...man. I have no words.
I love the throw down from start to finish, I used to re-enact that as a kid using all my Marvel Toys and even my Power Rangers and Ninja Turtles are all included because I don't have all the exact characters and while doing that I'm singing the theme song as well. Damn good old days!
One of the best cartoons scenes ever done. The story line and the way everything came together is a master piece 🙌 it still stands today in 2022 !better then the whole phoniex live action movie ! 🎬
Why has this not been turned into a movie? Savage Lands, Sinister, Sauron, Nasty Boys, Vertigo etc. That would be so badass in one or even 2 films they could make on it. Rogue was great in this show too. So cool when the intro music comes on.
This was the side of Scott that people didn't always see. He held it in, because he felt like it was the thing a leader would do to maintain composure. But at this point, he's pissed and all heck breaks loose.
Man you gotta agree; the 1990's and before those years the cartoons, the shows, the lifestyle was a blessing compared to now. Gosh wish can go back in time
I could be wrong but he is featured in the movie Logan. He was responsible for little to no mutants left on the planet. He was also in charge of Weapon X.
One touch I love is the build up of the music. It starts because the X-Men have regained their powers and grows more intense as they free themselves, but the guitar kicks in the instant Magneto breaks free. Today, at least, he is an X-Man.
This was the height of this show. The Savage Land / Sinister story arc was the one I found most interesting and I don't know if there were any action scenes through the rest of the series that were this dynamic with so many different people fighting at once.
I remember waiting WEEKS for them to break free and kick Sinister's ass. This was everything back then and nothing today has come close to this level of hype. The theme song still slaps and you knew s--was about to get real when it hit.
Um ... this fight is really the X-Men and Magneto vs. Mr. Sinister and the Nasty Boys. Anyone that watched the second season through has to admit it was pretty damn satisfying to finally see the full X-Men team (albeit minus Jubilee, who probably wouldn't have been much help anyway) take on Sinister and the Nasty Boys in a straight-up fight.
I remember being so excited when Magneto got his powers back and then very disappointed that he just took out one guy and then Vertigo before getting hit in the back by the cowardly Sinister...
