I've been listening to this each time I study for the past 10 years. I have ad(h)d so sometimes it gets really difficult to focus. But this music finally gets me into study-mode and it's the best thing ever... thank you The XX for this MASSIVE masterpiece !! (and also this channel with the most perfect seamless version) ! :))

ive got adhd and the beats/hums in this song melts my brain but at the same time helps me get into study-mode, and it helps blur the time so sometimes the 3 hour loop could feel like half an hour if im in hyperfocus lol

Using this as one of my favorite Astrol projection, Remote Viewing, Soul Jacking, Meditation, and Metaphysical Paranormal Detoxing songs. It's hard to find good music for doing what I need to do, that doesn't have an existing agenda of its own. One that I can simply listen to and spend time concentrating on my subjects, locations, and what I am looking for. Not having to cut my trips short due to annoying music or singing, the repetition helps a lot too. Keep up the good work, it's helping in ways that you will never know, and hope that you never have too understand what it's all about.

This was the overlay music in a You Tube video of some very good drone footage of the Seattle, Washington Space Needle. (I'm not sure whether the video is still up here.) But I can't NOT think of Seattle and the Space Needle when I hear it. In my mind's eye I see the city scape and the SN on a sunny day from an areal view. It even inspired me to take a trip out there.

I think he is putting the palm of his hand on the strings to make them muffle but then he's using a echo chamber that gives it that cool resonating peaceful sound.
