there is so much that is happening at once and there is so much that can go wrong, if anything falls out of place you would immediately notice it, they keep everything tight up, they make it look easy 🤘🤘🙏
Meyer UM-1P self powered stage monitors. Those are pretty old but we still have 8 of them in the Casino and a pair in the theatre here. Great wedges still to this day. Most are in ears now but they still get use. Can't recall how many times I've played this song in cover bands and I haven't played live in well over 20 years.
How tremendous this is! Wow! Great players, great tunes, great band. And yes, I was around for the original band and these tunes. The harmonica and guitar solo (nice Tele, wicked player) at the end of 'For Your Love' was a welcome surprise, a reminder that Keith Relf played a lot of harmonica. And the lead vocals were also very complementary to those originally laid down by Relf without getting stuck in copycat territory. Yes, great stuff, indeed. Thank you.
@@finland4ever55Keith Relf died from electrocution in the 70's. Paul Samwell-Smith left in 1966 and started producing, Page went to Led Zeppelin, Chris Dreja left in 2000's due to ill health, Jeff Beck of course died. The only original is drummer Jim McCarthy who has carried on the legacy. They sound great.
They're good, but it's wrong for them to use the name of the legendary group, the Yardbirds, when there is only one member of the original group in this lineup .....
They do it really well and great to hear the old standards again 50 years on. But they are not the Yardbirds! The original band brought English music into a new era, pushing the careers of Guitarists Top Tophamn Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, and Bassist Paul Samuel Smith who beame a very famous and hugely successful record producer. Few bands could boast having such an influence that led to bands such as Cream, Jeff Beck Band, Led Zeppelin and a long list of other famous artists hits under Samuel Smith's production.
These guys ( I know Jim was with them too) are better than the original Yardbirds live performances... ! They sound more like the recordings from way back then ...
