I put 250,000 miles on that exact same year Camry. Mine was a 5 speed also, most where automatics. One of the best cars I ever owned. The people I sold it to drove it another 5 years then gave it to someone who needed a car.

Pull the oil pan and change the check valve and the o-ring on the pick up tube. And I would change the screen under the oil pressure sensor. That's what fixed my 2008 GMC 5.3 LS
The oil pump is done .It can pick up the heavy thick cold oil ,when it warms it gets thinner and it cant suck! To create pressure bro . Love your channel .
Jimmy it’s definitely awesome how you keep chasing your dreams for sure buddy!!! I would have to say even if something happens that is big like the motor blowing up in the dodge and ends up costing a fortune to fix most people would give up on there dreams and either try and fix there truck or sell it and give up on their dreams!!! Oh no not jimmy he is trying to figure out a way to fix his truck and he still is definitely going after his dreams and I definitely love seeing something trying to do that instead of giving up!!! That is what it is all about for sure!!! We have all had big issues heck I even have been having issues with a few of my rides!!! I have an older 1969 Chevy K30 pickup that I got done building a 421 sbc for and got it all put together and come to find out that off the shelf headers will not fit my truck!! I have a set of aluminum AFR big boy heads on it and I have baught a half a dozen different sets of headers for it and every one of them will not fit plus I definitely need a set of 1”3/4” or 1”7/8” inside diameter headers for the motor to help with keeping temps down by being able to get the heat out!! I can’t find anyone that can tig weld up a set for me that is even in my state witch is southern Iowa!!! I would definitely love to pay someone to even build me a nice set of stainless steel set so that they would hopefully last!!! Then my daily driver Duramax the exhaust ended up breaking completely off clear up by the up pipe!! I also had the shifter cable break on me and wasn’t able to get it into any gear!! Plus I had three different brake lines on it get pin holes in them and the power steering started to wine!!! All during the same time!!! Oh and one of the fuel lines on it also started leaking!! It seems for me when stuff starts breaking and needing fixed it always ends up being more than two or three different things and can definitely become expensive!!! Now don’t get me wrong I’ve had my 2007 classic body style Duramax since 2010 and I have had to do absolutely nothing to it until now!!! It has actually saved me tons of money to recover from a 2006 Ford super duty that I bought with less than 9000 miles on it and I ended up having to pay for it twice because of all the times it was broken down!! That truck was literally in the shop for longer than I ended up owning it witch I had it for 3 to 4 years and ended up selling it with only 60,000 miles on it!!! Definitely the biggest pile of poop I have ever had and after I got rid of that pile of poop boy oh boy I felt so much better but I was definitely in the hole for sure!!! Jimmy have you tried a new oil filter And it's very possible the oil pickup tube came loose or even off when all the oil is in oil pan has oil pressure but once gets lower than the oil pump goes to zero id start with the filter first I hope it's not a FRAM if so that's your problem

If you're truck with the motor problems is an LS it's probably a pickup tube oring I've fixed a bunch of them that were doing the same thing as you described if not good luck love the channel

Mine did that have oil pressure and then lose it it was a sucking air by gasket where it mounts up and the pickup tube had a crack in where it's stability bracket bolts up to block inside

MY BUDDYS diesel was doing the same thing just the other day he changed some sensor still did it so he took the oil filter off and there was crap in the housing and the filter looked like hell cleaned changed the filter and no more problems ..just FYI

Before you tear anything apart or spend a bunch of money, try changing your oil filter. A cheap (Fram) or defective filter will go into bypass and drop your oil pressure to zero. It's worth spending $10 and trying a new good (non Fram) oil filter and see if that helps. I've seen it happen many times where a defective filter drops oil pressure. Luckily you caught it and didn't spin a bearing.
