additional context on Jaiden: some time ago she had to make a statement she doesn’t want anyone drawing 18+ art of her/her avatar and weird ppl got mad and created even more to spite her. It’s beyond just her being aroace, it’s her boundaries no matter her identity and her history of being made into 18+ art in the past, she was being harassed. i understand being aroace adds another layer of bad but it’s not the sole reason and it’d still be just as awful if she wasn’t ace. no one deserves such treatment.

The fact that he looked up what AroAce is says a lot, not even mentioning how he immediately accepted it. We need more people like this.

Basic shirts are for people that are able to shine with their personality, not their outfit no wonder Kooleen hates them.

The "she's just yassifying the AVATAR, not the artist" argument really falls apart when you watch her literally using real life reference photos of the creators so she can make the avatars look more like them 🙄 She literally ends up yassifying the creators instead of the avatars, because she's so unimaginative she can't work from just the cartoon-design.

The thing is, if Kooleen was yassifying the avatar, why did she add the irl Jayden's tattoos specifically? Could've been like "oh and she has tattoos irl, could take some inspiration and add tattoos" but she specifically drew the tattoos Jayden has irl

Basic shirts are great as an art accessory! 1) jewelry won't get lost in a busy background. 2) tattoos won't blend into patterns/textures 3) it will give the eyes an area to relax. 4) layers I can go on to defend basic shirts for an actual wardrobe and in Art.

People who animate tend to use simple designs for an animation because of not wanting to draw straight details on each frame, that most of the time it’s 12-20 frames per second.

Possibly unpopular opinion but I never really liked them. I don’t like their roasting without warning, it just starts with being sort of an asshole- Also jaiden is one of the sweetest people ever and her community is so kind and have given her the most lovely fanart- it’s such a shame someone as ignorant as Kooleen can possibly shatter all of that with making her feel uncomfortable and not safe on the Internet or online- I hope she’s doing okay ❤️

As an ace person myself that's very insecure about my body, if anyone just paused on a frame of me and made weird remarks about my body and then drew "me" that's just more conventionally attracted... I would feel sick in the stomach. Not to mention it's kinda contradictory. Not only they crossed a boundary of mine, made the situation weird for views and likes. But also "complimented" me just to "fix" me. So they would make me uncomfortable for no f reason before drawing my prettier doppelganger. W t f.

People cannot say that people are getting defensive because it was only Jayden's avatar when Kooleen pulled things from Jayden's actual picture, like her tattoos. She's blending the two. It's not JUST the avatar.

The biggest issue with the "she's drawing Jaiden's avatar" argument is that Kooleen literally used a picture of Jaiden as a reference for the tattoo's, which results in Jaiden herself and her avatar blending together in the "yassification" since Kooleen is taking parts of both to make the design. (Which makes the comments even worse, esp since she also knows what Jaiden looks like irl.)

I haven't watched Jaiden in a while, but even I knew about her past eating disorders and had caught up with her "being not straight" video. It bugs me how Kooleen tried to blend Jaiden's persona/avatar with an actual image of Jaiden herself (which she has taken years to be comfortable sharing her image on screen it was an entire journey she shared later with her fans), by pausing on Jaiden's stream and saying weirdly s3xu4l things about her then later implying she's only referencing the avatar. Calling attention to Jaiden just existing was weird imo. If she didn't know about Jaiden's past, it's an odd thing to say about anyone that she doesn't seem to repeat for Domics or Odd1sOut. If she knew about Jaiden's past, why would she say it... at all? Jaiden has made it clear she doesn't like attention called to her own image, which is why she uses a cartoon persona, so to pause on her image and repeatedly comment on "bringing out Jaiden's epic goth mommy" that isn't repeated for the others is very bizarre behavior.
