The YZ250 has been a ton of fun to work on, and it's so awesome to share everything coming together with you guys. Today we're making even more progress and get most of the mechanical systems finished up. Unfortunately, we had an issue with the wheels that will set us back a few days, but it'll all be worth it when this two-stroke is ready to rip in the desert/ trails. You have to move the front brake line over the hand guard or you’ll kink/break the line when the forks compress

Great bike so far man! Just a little tip though, the spark plug doesn’t need that much torque, I would invest in some spark plug sockets and look up the specs. Pulling threads on a brand new jug 😖

Looks awesome. I recommend trying a different exhaust though. Had fmfs on many of my bikes and then put pro circuits or scalvinis on them and really woke the bikes up. Just a recommendation. Love the channel tho man. Keep up the good work!!!

The bike is awesome no doubt about that but using a adjustable wrench for the sparkplug and powertools is in my oppinion a big no no on a dirtbike.... specialy the coolant hooses...

It’s going to look really nice mate I’ve got a 1989 kx80 that I am building I paid a shock linkage for it the other day I went to but it on the bike in I can’t get the bolt to go in the frame do u know what I can do mate

Dude I’m having trouble getting my bearings out my wish bone linkage. The seals n actual bearings have come but the outer bearing casings will not come out & on the wish bone you can’t push threw from one side. Think I’m gonna have to buy new wish bone !! Any tips

Dude Adam what are you talking about? Most of the aftermarket hubs use the same hub for big and small axle bikes. My brand new faster USA hubs for my ‘15 yz 250 have the big bearings too, there are two different types of spacers. I believe dubya also makes the spacers. Look around before you go back to that ugly stock hub bro

I knew someone who used a lectron carb on a 2T 225cc and he reckons it was the best carb he has used ever, dellortos, etc etc no where near, instant pick up,

Hey the YZ is looking great!!! I have a couple of questions for you...the tusk flywheel cover, does that need a spacer with it for the flywheel weight because I have to have one with my boysesn cover and my second question is on the front brake line, is there a reason that the hose is ran underneath the bark buster?? It almost looks like that brake line is too short. Just curious. Great video as always and can't wait to see the YZ all back together!! :)

Thanks Eric! The Tusk one doesn’t have any clearance issues which is nice (I don’t have the biggest size flywheel weight so maybe for a larger one it would need a spacer.) The brake line seemed to be coming out directly at the hand guard. It naturally was easier to put it below (I was worried it would rub more on top).

Ok so I have a question, I see it on official lectron's website and a customer rep also told me you cant pair vforce reeds with a lectron yet clearly he is doing it. Explanation?

It says the vforce 4 reeds will not fit and I contacted a customer service representative and asked if any of the other vforce reed blocks would work like the 3s and they said only the boysen valve will work. Which is strange cause I clearly see a lot of people using them.

@@adampaganelli4891 dont put anti seize on ngk spark plugs. NGK say that you shouldnt do it and there are many reasons for it. Just google ngk spark plugs anti seize

Don’t pay attention to these losers throwing shade in the comments. Your videos and work have taught me so much. I recently bought an 82 XL250R for 200$ as a project. Hopefully I didn’t make a huge mistake getting a four stroke as my first rebuild, just diving in head first I guess lol.

lectrons are a waste of $. you obviously know how to jet a stock carb just stick with that. washignton does not have high elevations like colorado and utah. waste of 500$
