The Paris Trucks give a more surfing feeling because of the positive rake of the hanger. You can carve tighter with Paris Trucks vs Caliber 2. But, the new Caliber 3 has a positive rake, with a better quality pivot cup and bushing. We tried them and it feels so great. Also, the cold can influence the durometer of your bushing. Stock bushings of the Caliber 2 are 90a. Because of the cold, it probably can reach 94a. I don't know your weight but you don't look like a heavy guy. You should get bushing around 80a - 85a. 😊

I'm watching this & it's 36 degrees Celsius here in Australia. It's a bit hot for riding, but I'll take heat over cold any day. Nice video bro.

Would like to see the update if the new trucks and bearings do better just got a beer can board and a not impressed with the abec red bearings that came with it compared to my sector 9 boards which seem to be built into the wheels I don't know what kind of bearings they are

Ogden, I’m debating on getting a longboard or an electric longboard. I saw an electric loaded board that was selling for $700 on fb market(originally $1600) is it worth paying? I was oringinally thinking of getting a landyachtz board around $250. I don’t know what decision to make haha

What brand is the electric board? Also it really depends on what you want but for me, a high quality normal board is the best for me because you get exercise, you can go as long as you want without worrying about a battery, and the board is much lighter.

@@OgdenSikel it is a loaded unlimited Icarus board! If I didn’t get the electric I would get the drop hammer or the battle axe from landyachtz. Idk it’s my first longboard but I will definitely be using it a lot! To commute to school and to work!

ooooo thats a tough one because a loaded unlimited for $700? assuming it works and the battery isn't completely dead, thats a helluva deal...and you could even remove the electric part and just make it a regular loaded board if you ever wanted to in the future. that being said, landyachtz boards are nice nice too, I really like their drop cat 38 board but i've never had a bad experience with them. Go with your gut feeling but it sounds like either of your options is a good one!
