@@huntervarient Markiplier was going to play that role in the fnaf movie at the start but then he had other things to do like his iron lung series / movie so he turned it down. That’s what I mean 🙄🙄
Btw Markiplier was originally gonna be the security guard at the beginning of the movie. Imagine how cool that would be to see Markiplier actually playing FNAF in live action.
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072No it’s true, Markiplier himself confirmed it in a video. I’d link an article talking about it but RU-vid doesn’t like it when you put links in comments, so just google it and you’ll find it.
Mark confirmed it himself. He was supposed to be the night guard that got killed by foxy at the beginning of the movie, but he couldn’t make it on set in time.@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072
@@Mutraxation seems to be an american thing, in england during the no way home reveal there were a few gasps but that was it, no one screaming and making noise like this
I'm not an american, so watching it with an audience mostly un-aware with the american youtube sphere, the theatre was completely silent at that moment, even thought there was a lot of FNAF cosplayers there, and they were cheering and screaming at any other moment BUT the cameos. I was the only one, beside another dude i heard reacting to Matpat (i think), that actually recognized him. I had to clarify to my dad and my sister that were there with me why i was excited with the fucking waiter.
Does your country have your own set of RU-vidrs that covered the lore, or did you guys just kinda figure it out yourselves? Not saying RU-vidrs are the only way to understand the lore but I'm just curious since most people here know it from ppl like Matpat
In Italy here very few people know about MatPat, even my best friend who’s obsessed to the bone with FNAF. I was the only idiot on a full theatre reacting to the “waiter” and my friends asked me why the fuck I was reacting like that and I had to explain them after the movie 😭
@@justincristea Yeah. But here we don't have like "a guy", like Matpat, that covers the entire lore, we have like a small group of RU-vidrs and they generally just repeat info from the american/english youtubers. But all the lore stuff is very accessible, except that not all FNAF medium is available here, yet. The Fazbear Frights series has just been announced to be releasing here.
It's rare moments like this when you and entire audience of strangers cannot help but sequel like kids. These moments make going to the theatre worth it.
@@sweetrolldealer Not in the movie not really, a majority of them leaned more towards full on adults or very late teens because most of the audience was people who already grew up with fnaf.
My friend spoiled the fact that he was in the movie and that he said his iconic line, meaning I didn’t get to see him as a surprise since I already knew he had a cameo, even though I’m upset he spoiled that for me, it’s just a cameo so idc too much.
When I saw it in theatres, everyone gasped at the moment his face came on screen, and it was dead silence until he said it's just a theory. Then there was genuine applause for about 30 seconds from every single person lmfao
Don’t worry fellas when people are able to stream this film there will be more better quality parts of this film (AKA you will not hear people in the background)
My theatre was screaming twice as much. I was also the only one who seemed to recognize his voice almost instantly as I was jumping up and down and squealing the moment I heard “Welcome to Sparky’s”. Everyone only cheered when his face was shown.
I watched the movie 1 week after it came out, and the theater was still packed. During the MatPat cameo people were cheering and throwing popcorn everywhere. And then when Afton said his iconic catchphrase, people cheered even louder, threw more popcorn, and someone even threw a full soda at the screen. They had to get the staff to calm everyone down, but the people cheered again when the fnaf theme by The Living Tombstone began playing. Best movie theater experience of my life.
There were a lot of teenagers and children when I went to see it with a friend and of course there were. They were the target audience after all, but I did not expect the whole theatre to erupt, cheering and in disbelief when MatPat entered the scene.
Took my son to see this and man the theatre was wild. Haven’t heard that much screaming and cheering since spider man no way home. The kids in the theatre just kept losing their minds when certain things would happen. This matpat cameo was the only thing I picked up on lol.
Dutch audiences never react to the moments American audiences react to. But when matpat entered the screen, exited screeches and reactions which normally would be seen as disrespectful came out of the audience. Mostly people who grew up with franchise like i did. He really is something special, gonna miss him.
This was the only movie i enjoyed the public laughing, screaming and commenting while watching. It was an interactive moment with people who didn't knew each other, so funny and unique, that I can say that no other film will have the same impact on me. ❤
So, at the showing I went to, I was in my theory wear jacket and someone sat next to me and my friend and said "oh man, I hope MatPat is in here somewhere despite him saying he isn't" and then we heard his "hey" and actually screamed "MATPAT??" and tons of people behind us went "wait seriously?" and "hah that wasn't-" and then when we saw him the theater erupted. Like, I could not hear the dialogue, but everyone then started shhing and going "wait. maybe he'll say the line" and then when he said "that's just a theory" everyone, without missing a beat, said "a GAME THEORY". Legit, one of the best theater experiences I've ever had.
It took everything I had not to flip out when I saw his cameo!! Seeing MatPat in the movie made me _so_ happy. I'm glad I chose a seat in the back of the theater, away from everyone else there, because I'm pretty sure I would have disturbed them if I'd been sitting any closer. Lol.
I wish I’d just gone ahead with my original plan and seen it in theaters (alone, but fine, wouldn’t be the first time); but i streamed it alone at home instead and i had to REWIND and went back and rewatched that scene a few times after the movie ended, i was so sad that i missed out on experiencing that with other people 😭
I remember how everyone got super quiet for Matpat when he appeared on screen, but I could hear people shuffling around, quick glance showed people shaking each other and looking generally shocked, and when he said “that’s just a theory 😉” I shouted “HES A LIAR!” And the theatre screamed half a second later cause it was freaking MATPAT????
people like him, and it's also just funny to see him IN the movie, so it usually gets a reaction. They took the stupid thing like "I loved when walter white came on screen and said 'It's breaking time'" and actually did it in the movie.
I want to rent out an entire theater, except for one seat, and have a bunch of people come in, except for one guy that I don’t know, and the second mat pat comes on screen we start a riot
You know in the cinema in my country. When i was watching the movie everyone in the cinema start cheering about everything they saw and i didn't hear anyone when someone said: SHUT UP!!! But my brother did told me what he heard
I remember hearing some people freak out about this scene, mostly me and my friends tho- it honestly took a sec for them to realize it until I told them while I was freaking out lmao
I wish i saw the movie earlier so i had a theatre like this!! I remember being the ONLY ONE afaik freaking out (quietly) in my seat. Even my brother whose seen game theory didnt recognize him
i sat next to this kid who wouldn't stop talking the whole movie. this was actually such a horrible theater. everyone was so loud i just wanted to enjoy the movie.
In the first few seconds I didn't even recognise him. But I didn't watch a single matpat theory in almost half a Year there. But then he said "it's just a Theory" and I had the heaviest 'WAIT A MINUTE' Moment of my life. Its like a small part of my life flashed through my eyes. A singular clip of "A GAAAAME THEORY".
