Dang talk about some money spent! I got a 2000 ws6 with a ten point, moser 12bolt, madman and Afco rear suspension. Wilwood brakes... Holley efi... then a SBE 5.3 and a s475. I bought it in 2012 and started a family shortly after so the car never got put together. 4 months ago I changed that! Couple wires and a driveline from driving! See builds like yours and get sick thinking that I’m gunna keep spending money on it 😅
Working on the car is a full time job, I congratulate you on your determination to get to your goal. I do some small things to my vehicles but what you do is a whole different level. To do all that custom work takes a lot of money, beyond my finances. How do you get all the money to buy all the parts? I have to fix my 300 c SRT8 and because of finances it is sitting in the garage untill I can get the money. I just want some basic ideas of what guys like you do to afford this. Thank you and great video.
We save alot on on labor since we do it all ourselves. If your on tight budget theres ways to find deals. Facebook market place, forums. I buy and sell often!
This is a dream man, thanks for sharing. All my buddies in the car game tell me it's a money sink, and to avoid it. But then they brag about their accomplishments. This is fucking awesome man. You've come a long way and this car is sick. Soooo much Custom work and I love how you dialed it in from experience. Someone with 10 years' personal exp with building cars is an expert in my book. Fuck yeah man.
Hey man where did u get your exhaust setup with the quad tips. I just got a 02 ws6 with the automatic and I love it. Any ideas u got as far as mods to make it a good fun street car?? But 🫵🏿 car is clean asf tho 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿💯💯💯
Beautiful car! These are my absolute favorite cars!💪✌️👍A Buddy of mine had a 96 formula with a gnx motor in it that was featured in gm tech magazine in the early 2000's. his shop was right across the street from today's evolution performance in Aston Pennsylvania!
man shes so pretty! i'm still trying to find a TA that i can start working on but the price changes are really hindering that. so glad you got to work with your Dream!
when i see these cars start up in the garage i feel sorry for the neighbors. I had a highly modified subaru and woke up everybody. I much older now and been on the other side of a beast waking up everyday.
How much money (in parts) do you think you have invested in that car? Just in a ballpark figure. Id love to build another one . I have a few videos of mind on my RU-vid channel. Check them out.
What AR are you running on the turbine housings, how much boost and how much back pressure? How much rear-wheel horsepower? And what is the weight? We're running the same turbos on a 6-0 with a .96 AR . Thanks for the help real nice car👍
Awesome setup bro I'm a bike guy but in the market for a 96 camaro ss I'm gonna build , just been saving the est build $$ first (done lots of bike builds and find it easier that way) thanks for some inspiration bro ✌
I loovee trans am I have one that I bought 3 months ago 5.7 v8 engine and my dream Is to fix this car give it a lot of power for racing just like yours a little by little I will have it like i always dreamed of you are living my dream don't waste it
You have done a fantastic job on this TA. I had a 98 that I used to road race. Sister in Vegas owns it now (trying to get her to sell it back to me)! Keep that baby clean and off the guard rails!
What is your turbine AR and what size is your exhaust pipe are they 3 and 1/2 in and do you have any back pressure issues we are having back pressure issues on a 6o with the same turbos and how much boost are you running
i already do have the baffles installed. they helped but the harder i 60 the more i'm seeing it dip. I have friends who have solved this by going with an A/m pan
Well done with the right parts! Tell me about the shifter? Is your TH400 a RMVB? What stall speed and what rear end gear ratio? What 60ft times? Viking in the front also? I have a ratchet pro now and was thinking of getting a built 4l80e to handle TT 1200rwhp setup. Thinking about using an L96 and making it a 408. Still a gamble with that power level and will probably regret not going LSX bow tie block. I have vikings on all 4 corners but want to switch to UMI afcos.
Its a M&M shifter, TH400 RMVB, 3.25 rear gear. Last year we ran pretty consistent 1.2x's Front viking double adjustable. I would stick with the vikings if its a drag car, or upgrade to something better like menscer. at 1200 the vikings should handle that power though
Hey man insane car. You guys worked ur asses off i’m sure so u deserve it. I recently bought a perfect condition black stock 94 camaro. I recently put brand new tires and k&n cold air intake. You got any advice what i should put in next. I don’t wanna stop til the car has 500 hp or more and 500 lb/ft torque.
remember it not always about adding power and torque. You have to be able to put the power to the ground and get traction or else it's waste of money. A 500 hp/ torque car without traction will lose races to a 400 hp/ torque car with traction. Plus the more power add-ons, a person needs to be able to stop the car and upgrade the brakes. Neglecting safety is a dangerous way to live. Adding a higher stall converter can make a car quicker without even touching the motor.
Oh... had a 97 all black for my first car, saved my pennies and bought it when I was 20.... fast foward I just turned 38 and drove 5 hours to pick up a all black 02 T/A... Fucking love these cars👊
He tore this car up, no offense to him it is badass but it's not worth anything unless you race... he tears it up at the track constantly.... it will never run the same when you race your car idc what you do to it
Any regrets for the commitment with it thru the years? Like getting so frustrated that ya thought about scratching the whole deal, and be done with it? If so, what got ya inspired to go forward with it, and keeps you pushing forward? I ask because; I've got a '97, started a rebuild on the LS1, tube front, turned t-tops into a targa, etc... and I Lost interest, for awhile, But I'm starting to get bk at it! Trying to get my sons off fortnight, and interested in the project!
Of course, theres been several rough times. Luckily for me my wife has always helped me push through. Find someone that has the same interests John and push through it, you wont regret it at the end. And yes get those boys on it too lol
@@TheBulletWS6 Thanks man! That's a GREAT idea, if I had somebody to work with me, that don't mind wrenching, I believe that'd make a BIG DIFFERENCE! I lost use of my right arm bk in '82, I'm now 56 yrs old, and am feeling those old injuries coming bk on me! My boys will help when I ask em to, and my 13 yo is starting to get on board! I told him that we'll put the 3800 in the parts car n fix her up for him. That may have sparked his interest, lol, I hope so, I'd rather them work on anything other than video games!
why would you turn the t-tops into a targa? when you did that you lost body strength and it will flex and twist more. Maybe you like the looks better but seems like the wrong thing to do. Surely you braced it?
