The couple, Daniel and Pellanie, decided to call it quits after decades in corporate life. To satisfy Dan's craving for the local beef pies he had during his study in Australia some 20 years ago, Pell successful recreated the familiar tastes. The Mince Beef Pie became the stall's signature, amongst other pastries like Chicken Pie, Potato Chicken Curry Puff and Egg Tart.
To distinguish the beef pie from chicken, the couple added a small dough on top of each beef pie. This little gesture has earned the beef pie an intriguing yet affectionate name from customers - Nipple Pie!
