Simple advice if your goal is to get married: At the moment you realize that the person you are dating is not your spouse, break up with them. Anything less is cheating on your spouse to be and cheating yourself out of a chance to meet them.

Found Shan during very troubling times in the beginning of my marriage, many years ago, still watching and loving everything she does 👏🏾❤️

Love Shan! I’m 34 grew up super conservative-not that way anymore, but due to my upbringing I never learned these valuable lessons till like was 31. I still haven’t dated or been in a relationship, but I’m more aware of myself now, the only thing is, society still has the idea that because I’m such an outlier, there’s something wrong with me. I’m loving myself, just a little difficult to throw away societies expectations. Anywho, need to finish Shans book, it’s amazing!
