I choose being rich and not talented. I would use my money to invest in people with great talent. Creating scholarships, programs and centers dedicated to children or people with talent who need exposure or an outlet.

In a marriage. There is no such thing as “I bought you...”. It’s shared income. So you can’t use that as an excuse to give a not-so-good gift. Buy people something they’ll love AND use. He missed the fact that in order for her to wear them and fall in love with them AND get to brag about them...they need to be something she can USE. Otherwise he spent money on a very expensive pair of bedroom shoes. 🤷🏾‍♀️ She wants to be able to wear them frequently BECAUSE he spent so much money on them and BECAUSE he got them for her. *next time buy her some outfits to go with the shoes*

I have to agree with Kev. The act of giving a gift isn't about the practicality of the gift. I believe it's giving someone something that they wouldn't buy for themselves. Because being a mom/wife and taking care of a household makes you feel like certain things are frivolous. But for someone who loves to give gifts we get joy from seeing you open that gift. Just my opinion. Lol

I see Kev’s point on the gift...I’m into shoes and will spend any amount money but I’m not really Into paying the high price for sneakers. My husband always buys me sneakers because that’s what he wants me to have and know I will never pay $150 plus dollars for sneakers. I’m appreciative because when on the rare occasion I wear sneakers I have them available.

How did Kev get the coffee cup back 1st off all lol. Second thing me and my son's father part of the reason we broke up was our views on gift giving. I would tell him what I wanted but he would always give me things he wanted me to have and get upset when I didn't use them. I would give him things he asked for and he would be upset that I didn't take initiative and get something I thought he wanted based off his personality

My husband bought me a very expensive LV bag. I returned it, I felt it would be a bag I don’t feel comfortable carrying it. I just knew someone would steal it. I thought about what you said "don't sue us". Have you thought about a LLC low liability co. It stops the reach of a low suit from being able to go into all your money envelopes and keeps this sites money separate from the ability to go into kevonstage or house hold money. Just a thought 😀

I feel like for me ( not to be graphic) I used to have a lot of stigmas with my having sex as a woman . I would be ready but I was afraid because of what I’ve been trained about sex through church culture, growing up in a black household, and how media portrays women having sex . I don’t have much of a hard time now, but it is still complicated at times .

I once got mad at my husband for getting me flowers. because they were expensive (we share a bank account and did not have extra money at the time) and they die LOL. he was like dang, i just wanted to make your day. i never got mad again for any gift.
