Indeed, This 90’s era Iron Man show opening theme definitely feels very atmospheric and industrial. Too bad it became criminally underrated, I’ve always wanted an extended version of this theme song
@@sexcorpio6976 no, not really surprised. I knew for a long time that it was underrated, I just simply missed hearing it, and then wished that it was extended
Honestly, it sounds like a poor man's "flash gordon" without the catchy hooks, and the instrumentation sounds like it came from the 70's. It just has this old, outdated composition to it. I think this theme would fit better for something like He-Man or some time-travel cartoon with a protagonist that goes between the modern world and medieval times. Not Ironman, though. The 2nd theme for the series really sounds like what the theme should've been all along and fits the IronMan sound aesthetic way better.
@@gamephreak5 I hear ya I love it because I remember watching the vhs tapes of the show and was always in awe about the theme song it just had that unique sound, and it’s also composed by Keith Emerson who is the band ELP and he one of the greatest keyboardist I’ve heard of and trust me you are right the second theme fits and I love it
Because people associate with the first season as a whole...which didn't have as good writing as the second season. That and the second theme hasa more distinct melody, even if it's more repetitive.
Not as good as the theme to Season 2, but this one was ironically the one that got stuck in my head more as a kid. Probably because I had watched more of Season 1 than Season 2.
While I fully believe that "I am Iron Man!" beats the season 1 theme any day of the week, the Mandarin/Rogue Gallery portion of the season 1 theme is pretty killer.
This one was better than the "I Am". I liked it, not as much as this, but the cartoon was BORING.......Hawk-Eye fighting Iron Man for whatever reason, it was a slop shop of season, at least this one had a formula.
@@dukesilver9704 I rewatched the entire series, of the second one, and it just doesn't translate well, doesn't make it any worst that the Mandarin basically Endgame himself and there was no payoff. The first season just looked better, sounded better, & everyone wasn't so.........flawed....all the time.
@@DoKDelta oh really, I just like both because like Iron Man in Season 1 just beginning to be a hero and Season 2 to improved that he is Iron Man with dark tone of storytelling
I know i'm alone in this on. But I loved this season over season 2. The shows in season two were anti-climatic, and Iron Man was boring. At least the first iron man had battles worthy.
Season 1 is unoriginal because they *always* fight The Mandarin! Nobody else! Just The Mandarin! I wanted them to fight someone *other* than The Mandarin. And as soon as they switched it up to AIM, they then had Iron Man fight *AIM* and *AIM* only!!! Arrrggghhh!!!! 😡😡😡 Fucking stupid!
@@DoctorWhoKage but at least they're were worthy battles. And the animation style was lazy in Season 2, like they were afraid to spend extra time cause they were gonna get canned after 2.
Iron man's not all about the 'super rocky and cool' stuff. While that's a huge part of iron man, there are other aspects. I feel that this theme pretty much perfectly embodies Iron Man
