Not going to lie, this review actually made me cry a little, when you put into perspective so beautifully the journey that DE goes through to bring this game to us it makes you think about the amount of passion that must just be poured into a product like this and because of all that passion, all that hard work, all the effort they end up doing amazing things like completely changing up the gaming industry, giving people like my self a career on RU-vid and twitch, giving people something to do in their down time, always giving people something to look forward to and be excited about. These developers single handledly make waves with their passion project and that is the this of game I wanna see more of.

I was at Tennocon, i've always thought people were stupid to cry when they see their favorite celebrity or a sequel to something they like being released, but when i saw the orbiter i legit teared up a bit

How can these expansions be free when Bungie charges people for less content like Forsaken... I don't understand...

So ugh, just an example of how DE loves their community. To put it simply, yesterday, I accidentally dissolved my Lanka Riven cause I ran out of Endo and was dissolving some mods. I sent a ticket and a lengthy essay explaining my concern that it was an expensive item I bought and worked hard for in-game, expecting that it would never be resolved knowing it was partially my fault all along, and that the expected response time would take at least 2 weeks before I get a reply from a customer service team that probably deals with thousands of players. However, lo and behold, in less than 24 hours, I logged into my account, noticed my Riven count had an extra, and saw my Lanka Riven back in its rightful place: my inventory. And when I watched from this video about someone taping a sign that said "Thank You.", all I can really say to Digital Extremes is...Thank You. Nothing more. Nothing else. But thank you.

Skill up, the amount of talent you put into your videos brings a tear to my eye. I'm happy that in this crazy, irrational future world I can find someone to make me look at video games with an uncynical eye again. Please continue doing what you're doing, diversify, and become a voice for gamers. We need people like you more than ever now.

I downloaded this game 3 days ago, the community is a collection of awesome people who all seem super willing to help new comers and help breakdown the initial knowledge barrier. Gameplay is dope af and I'm mad as hell it's taken me this long to start.

Everytime I hear any review for Warframe, I always feel on the verge of tears because look at them go. Look at them just go...

When some random guy goes to your workplace and sticks a "thank you" note on your window , then that speaks volumes about your work. Kuddos to DE and kudos to you skill up for making this amazing video.

And here we are, about 2 years later with all those things shown on tennocon out in a buggy state, and a bunch of the community rioting... Sometimes we fail to see that they don't make the same predatory systems like others, everything ks accessible with the community market, no paid add-ons, and while the latest updates were buggy and their mechanics weren't the best, they are fixing those. I mean, come on, they added a "seasons" system like almost all other games but with no season pass and very little actual grind! It could be said that they don't dream of what they are, but of what they want to be.

ATTENTION NEW PLAYERS There's a bit if a learning curve but jump in chat, tell us you're new. We will help you. Because the learning curve is well worth it. You have a massive supportice community willing to help you.

Skill up I say this everytime and I'll say it again man, I proudly welcome u to the warframe community even if u literally sucks at the sacrifice quest, it's go heart warming to see someone enjoy the game so much who isn't a top tier player, it's awesome to hear the pov of someone who clearly understands the vision behind warframe, as an artist it's my dream to have my own career but someday work with de on the side or someday have the pleasure of meeting steve and hand him some of my own ideas and see them implemented. It's good to have a voice outside of the small world we're used to, and more so avomeone who sees what wf is and what it can be. Someone who isn't perhaps the quickest learner but had an appreciation for the beautiful wirk that de has put in to give us a game I've been searching for forever. I dream of a warframe where everything is seemless and I can jump on my hoverbike and ride off into a busy futuristic open world city and begin a chase sequence going after someone through the heavy traffic chasing them across mountains and through dense crowds. I dream of a wf where my choices affect the environment around me and the pvp is actually properly done. I dream of new factions coming to not just add to lore but bring enemies that'll give me a run for my money not based on how weak or strong I am but genuinely whether or not ivlm skilled enough or possess the resources to take them on. But most importantly, to stop myself from rambling too much more, I dream.of a warfrane where there are more players such as yourself, who I can share the game with. As an artist I will say the shit they teach in colleges where I am, the work I see put into games that used to get my blood boiling like league, no, this...THIS, warframe, is what I say art looks like, this is an example of passion come to life. The funniest thing is, alot of what I dream of for this game, it's already becoming. Boy am I proud to be a nidus main and if anyone at DE reads this....thank you for my dope ass nidus deluxe, I finally have what I want, I'm happy to play this game and dedicate hours and hours of my time to it, you guys at DE have got a customer for life and I'm sure I'm not the only one. As long as u guys keep at it like this and keep the approach you have, I am not ever giving this game up. Because very few games have made me feel like my time is this respected. And with that, Take my fucking wallet, or we will have a problem.

And the reveals and demos were, in my opinion, so big, that I'm surprised at how rarely we hear you talk about this game on the channel...

Veilbreaker just dropped, playing as a Grineer, customizing his armor, taking away your power so that you can really feel what it's like to be a grunt in this universe. Something new and interesting and still entirely free.

I love Warframe, discovered it around the time Fortuna had recently come out. I was looking forward to railjack, building it, loved some of the boarding of the railjack, I was excited about it too. I was later not happy with it, but it could be because I was bad at that. Took a break for 2 years and recently played some again. Such a grindy game I’m too busy for, but it has got me hooked like no other game ever did. The quality of flow in movement, the personalization in weapons, it’s still amazing to me. I recommend it to everyone.

Attention anyone planning on playing Warframe! First I’d like to say, Welcome To All The New Tenno! Now, the game is really overwhelming at first, but with enough time and patience it will become almost reflexive! Secondly, Everything can be earned for FREE, even the cosmetics, but don’t worry about those yet, you shouldn’t have to worry too much about Platinum early on! Thirdly, you start with 50 Platinum, use it to buy Weapon and Warframe Slots! It really helps! Fourth, there are plenty of Veterans who will kindly help new players as well as the Wikia (beware of accidental spoilers), just don’t ask to be carried, as it hurts your experience, at least early on. Finally, don’t get discouraged if your desired loot doesn’t drop, it happens to all of us! Good luck and stay safe out there Tenno!

Just as DE is a beacon of light in the gaming industry, your channel is a beacon in the vast sea of game reviewers and essay posters. I'm going to try my hand at it within the next month or two. I'm not funny enough to be the next Videogamedunkey, not verbose enough to be the next Downward Thrust, but hopefully I can be passionate enough to be the next SkillUp.

I've been playing Warframe since open beta, and it still blows my mind how far this game as come, and how much has changed. I remember starting with no ship, mods that didn't stack, and a terrible UI with NO TUTORIAL. I'm delighted this game has gotten as much attention as it has, and I hope that it gets much bigger in the future.

Warframe is a special kind of beast. Sometimes something happens that pisses people off, but DE is always on top of it to do whatever makes the community happier. It's no surprise the devs that listen to and connect to their community also happens to make the all time best free-to-play game.

You genuinely do the best mini-documentary/videos on youtube, and I'm so so glad you play and cover Warframe. Love ya buddy. (no homo ;)

This was a stunning piece of work Skill Up. I appreciate every moment of these videos as does everyone else who watches them. You highlight things about this game and more importantly its development team which seem so redundant in the industry at the moment. In a time where it's so easy to generalise, WARFRAME, breaks the rules then re-writes them.

Skillup - I may be drowned in the ocean of comments you get here.. but I have to say, this video gave me goosebumps ... how do you manage to evoke so much passion .. good lawdy. Your way with words is just .. beautiful - I would never be able to put into such beautiful words as you have wonderfully done here. I am a proud "loser", so every word you said had me nodding in agreement. What you say is so true - irrespective of the fact that Fortuna and Railjack may release in a buggy state, it doesn't matter - the vast majority of the warframe community has DE's back because we see, with our very own eyes, the passion, love, sweat and hardwork DE puts into this game, all to bring us the fun we know we can have from this game. And for that, I have not thought twice about dumping money into this game - coming in on close to about 2000 USD ( by way of prime-access packs, tennogen skins, plat purchases) .. and I have not rued my investment into this game. DE deserves EVERY single penny I've given to this game. Here's wishing to their continued success. Salud! And, you my friend - keep up the good work. Its been 6 years since the beginning of Warframe and I still don’t know what’s under Steve’s beanie.

1.5 years later railjack is live now and it's really sad that none of the things they showed at tennocon 18 have come with the update no breaking through atmosphere from open world no blowing up capital ships no system management like "all power to the guns" no hacking enemy ship turrets and help your boarders from your ship literally none of them didn't make into the game you just mod your railjack up to capacity no system management and just 1 mission type 25 times kill fighters and crewships and sometimes an extra sabotage like objective that has no extra reward not to mention all of the bugs and glitches or frustrating grind with rng stats gears it was a total disappointment it is a catastrophy the way the update launched killed all the hype and turned hatred to the game so I don't know how but somehow I hope DE will make up for this and give us what they've promised Edit: Regardless I love this game and I have DE's back like you said in the video and I don't blame DE to try new things like "rng stats" but my point is now that we are in 2020 there are crazy games that coming out and Warframe has competition and for last few months warframe is losing a lot of it's playerbase and I love this game too much and I don't want it to fail I think DE overdepends their community and because of this they can release railjack as buggy mess and go christmas holiday leaving us waiting for weeks for hotfixes and I think DE should be more responsible instead of throwing us broken grindy buggy content and frustrate us

Pfft what's so special about space battles, boarding enemy vessels, and destroying motherships? I bet Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Destiny 2 both already have fleshed-out, well-polished, deep and engaging modes to....... ......oh wait.

Even thought I don't pay for playing Warframe, I will always pay attention to Warframe.

Sadly the community right now seems to shit on DE all too much. Everyone wants them to do this, or that, yet they forget it's DE's game, they decide what to allocate development resources to. Their resources aren't infinite, but people forget this, and fail to notice that DE actually does listen to feedback, that they actually do love the game they are making. And all of that, for free, and some people still keep spreading negativity towards DE...

The perspective you give, and the reflections considering the industry in itself make your reviews both serious and funny. You're an entertainer, one who keeps giving us something to consider and ponder, as well as something to "lol" and "rofl" (ref. Th1ckboy"). Keep doing what you're doing mate, and in the dying words of Rocco; "Don't ever stop".

Warframe quickly became one of my favorite games as soon as I started playing it. And the more I played it, interacted with the community, and learn of the journey DE has taken with it I love it even more. So goddamn wholesome of a community and devs.

As someone who just joined Warframe and coming from a dark time where League of Legends was a complete drain on my life socially, academically, and just made my life hell due to addiction and as everyone knows the community surrounding a lot of online gaming communities is very toxic and everyone just throwing shit at each other. All I have to say that this community and developer is something that I am amazed by and I hope for all the success for DE and that this community continues supporting it. It makes me have nostalgia to when i first started gaming as a child and loaded into a world where it felt like i could do anything and be anybody while playing with friends just having a good time. That's why I think this game, developer, and community is amazing and deserve all the success and respect in the world!

You made me want to try out Warframe and I can't thank you enough. Love it. One of my all time favorite games. The sincerity and passion with which the devs work is clear to see. And it's a welcome sight in today's gaming industry. It's one of those rare gems that represents a beacon of hope that maybe the games industry isn't headed to hell just yet and that there are still people in the industry that get it and haven't been corrupted by soulless corporate business b.s.

So I watched this video a week ago and it inspired me to try warframe again, I still had it installed from the first time you recommended it... All of this is still true to this day. DE has only gained momentum since. Thank you, DE, for making easily the best free to play game that exists. And one of the best games in general.

Digital Extremes and CD Projekt show that you can be incredibly successful by *NOT* trying to maximize profits at every turn. Both companies actually treat their customers with respect and try to earn every sale rather than coerce them into emptying their wallets through nefarious business practices.

My favorite part of ShillUp videos is that Sam doesn’t show up in them.
