Have a puppy thats been biting anything they can get their hands on?? Here's an easy trick we learned, when Theo started biting things around the house, that got him to stop right away! Hope this helps!

We just got a 4 month old black doodle. She was gifted to us by a breeder friend of the family. We have been working with her on simple stuff. Sit, lay, shake. She does really well with those. She has a hard time listening. She absolutely ignores everyone unless you grab her and get her attention. I understand she is still a pup. We are crate training at night and when we leave. Potty training has been a bear. We take her out, take her for walks and the such. She goes outside and then comes right in the house and goes again. The only thing she really chews are her toys and people and whatever the people happen to be wearing. She is the sweetest pup ever, but sometimes a monster, too. We already had a 16 yr old Corgi who loves her and 2 cats who do not. My MILaw got her brother so we wouldnt split them up too bad. Oh. Her name is Peas. We are supposed to have her trained as an emotional support dog for my wife who has suffered numerous strokes. Peas is one of 4-5 words she can still say.

pull your hand away with a sharp "Ow" Let puppy know that hurts. Then give it an appropriate toy or bone to chew on. Don't engage play with your hands when they are biting.

@@lorihilliard9956 If your puppy is at the teething stage, you may have to work on it until he has his adult teeth. It is hard on the hands and the patience.

That’s a pretty good idea! When my dog was a puppy, bitter apple spray did nothing. What helped was management by putting stuff away and supervising when out of his crate and correcting him if we happened to see him try and bite something like a chair leg, and putting him away when not being supervised. He HATES vinegar, so we also used some vinegar diluted with water on some areas and he’d avoid those, too.

How do you keep up with Theo’s coat at home? What kind of brush, comb, shampoo do you use? And how often do you brush him in between grooming sessions? Our mini doodle has the same coat! Would love to see a video on that! :)

I got puppy mini doodle and he is a terror!!! He chews on everything and bites really hard. He bit my ear and his tiny teeth got stuck in my piercing and I swear I thought my ear was gonna get ripped off

my mini goldendoodle has a hard time listening now that he’s older (7 months). my puppy also likes chewing on socks and jumping on people when we get home, or when people come visit. he also has a bad habit of sitting by us and whining whenever we’re eating something. he’s become such a handful lately haha

@@allynfollette I have a two year old Goldendoodle who is a sweet heart, but acts as if the same rules he's learned two years ago, are absolutely brand new today. In other words, I totally understand. I'd always raised English and American Cocker Spaniel's who are far easier to train and were always able to adapt to the rules of the house in less than one year, unlike my precious WILD MONKEY MAN... the doodle noodle.

Thank you for your videos. I have a 3 1/2 year old male goldendoodle. I admit that I have not been consistent training him. My husband and my kids (with my husband present) do much better. Aside from the barking, my biggest problem is putting a leash on him. It's a game to him that he will not only jump everytime but try to hold onto the leash. He'll do this while I am walking him too. What can you suggest I do? Thank you.

My golden doodle puppy won’t use the puppy pad she will refuse..she’ll literally hold it until I take her outside and with my schedule I will not always be able to, and if I surround her with puppy pads in one room she won’t use them, if she can’t hold it anymore the second I open the sore she lets loose on my floor..any tips, I’ve tried house breaking spray and everything but it’s not working

I’m going to tell my FIL to try this. He just got a mini golden doodle and she is so destructive. She also constantly bites us, clothing, shoes and jumps to bite us. She’s digging holes in the yard. same thing. He bites my hands and jumps up to bite. We’ve had large breed dogs, Rotti’s, Dobie’s, Shepherds and English Mastiff’s. And many other kinds. So we’re not new to having a dog. Our others have been obedience trained. I am at a loss. I am constant as well. Please help!

How do you get them to not bite your hands or feet.

You're supposed to correct the bad behaviour, then redirect to biting a toy and reward that good behaviour. I've seen different ways to 'correct' the bad behaviour, one is to form your hand like an italian man proud of his fresh made pasta, and then poke the dog's belly the moment it bites you, and make a "tcht" sound or whatever. Then eventually only the verbal sound. Another type of correction would be with a leash, and to 'pop' the leash every time it bites with the sound.

Potty training!! I have been working eoth my 2 Month old golden doodle for weeks. He goes when i take him outside. But he still pees or poops in the house at least once a day. I take him out every 30 mins and eight after hhe eats. Help! Lol

I live in Canada BC and my family and I REALLY want a mini goldendoodle but we cant find any in Canada! We have looked everywhere and there are none near us! If there are some near us they cost $4000! My family and I cant afford to pay that much for a puppy, but I have wanted a puppy since I was 3! :( If anyone can help me and tell me a breeder that will sell a mini goldendoodle to us please lmk! :)

Hi, my boyfriend and I just got a mini goldendoodle and he is 8 weeks. He is constantly nipping at my ankles or biting my shoes, pants while walking him. Also, when playing with him indoors he wants to bite us or our clothing, we quickly replace ourselves or clothing with one of his toys. He will bite the toy for a couple seconds and then go back to biting us. He will nibble on our fingers and then tend to bite hard. How do we stop this? Is it normal for an 8 week old puppy?

Emily Orr hi! I’ll try to do a video on this but TLDR; anytime his teeth come near you- YELL “ow” like super dramatically! You want them to associate their teeth with your pain. Now is the best time because he’s a puppy and still learning. Good luck, you got this!

I have scrolled this entire thread looking for answers to all the questions that seem to be similar to the actions of my GD. Why in the world are most of these questions unanswered? Oh sis! We end up mixing treats into his food or something into his food at all times. I don’t even think it’s because he doesn’t like it - I think he’s just bored! I’ll do a video on 5 different things you can add to kibble to keep your dog interested! Hopefully that helps!

Look online for some training tips. McCann training is good. And Zak George also. They have videos on almost every problem. But make a loud "Ow" and pull away and turn away from the dog. Don't engage and without scolding and reprimand, let him know you don't like it and it hurts. Then re-direct them to a proper chew toy;. A frozen dish cloth will help ease their gums when teething. Don't wrestle and get down and roll around with them as it just encourages them.

One parent was a golden retriever unless it is an F1b or multigenerational. Even so, there is golden retriever in them and they shed. So sometimes the coats take on the trait of the retriever rather than the poodle. If it is an older puppy around 6 to 8 months and it just started shedding, it will be blowing its puppy coat. Important to brush them a lot so you remove the hair and it doesn't matt up. If that is the case, it likely won't shed so bad when the puppy coat is all gone. If it has rather straight hair rather than curly or wavy fleece, it will likely shed.

Seems mean to shove something he hates in his face. He’s supposed to be able to trust you! Leaving lemons out is one thing, but I can’t with the forcing it in his face just for a video. We get it. He hates lemon. 😢
