Located in Western North Dakota, where the Great Plains meet the rugged badlands is Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
The beautifully colored hills and buttes of the North Unit surround you as you drive the scenic road through the park. Numerous stops along the way reveal mysterious formations and wonderful vistas of the Little Missouri River Valley.
The South Unit located near Medora is just as spectacular and the drive here allows an up close look at the bison prairie dogs and some more elusive wild horses that roam the park.
Theodore National Park is one of the least visited of all the parks and this provides you with all the time you want to have a relaxing experience throughout your time spent here!
