You know, it's kinda of nice seeing political figures putting so much time effort and passion into something *not* political. It humanizes them more to me. It's also just refreshing to watch something fun too.

After being let down so badly by Wheel of Time.. and Rings of Power.. and The Witcher.. and Willow.. I'm really hoping for something that actually respects the source material and just tells a good story! 🙏

My youngest daughter’s middle name is Charis, based on this series by Lawhead. So excited to be seeing this series come to fruition.

Was really hoping for something a tad more family friendly. Due to some of the dresses, I don't want my teenage sons watching it. Sick of being unable to find content that we can enjoy as a family. Woke or immodest...😒

I'm very happy for the company and hope it succeeds so that they can continue to make them. At least we can know that this isn't going to be filled with nonsense like the rest of Hollywood. That alone makes it worth supporting. If we want entertainment that's not filled with virtue signal BS then we must stand behind it.

I'm still impressed by the sets and costumes. This show definitely won't look bad! Plus, putting in the effort for a new language is going that extra mile. Good job.

Whaaaaat???? Stephen R. Lawhead has been, and ALWAYS WILL BE one of my favorite and most respected authors! He and Peretti are the reason I started writing in the first place. I had no idea this was happening!! Can't wait to watch Taliesin (turning my head to look at the first book of the series, on my bookshelf) come to life!!!

I love that they even pulled Spencer into this. That dude is a genius. That alone tells me this show is going to be amazing.

an ACCURATE ADAPTATION?! that stays faithful to the source material?! I must be dreaming!

Why make a sophisticated imaginary languages, instead of letting Atlantis speak prdinary english as well? Was it really necessary to make a story-board instead of just using lazy writing? Wouldn't it been better with a CGI cartoonish mouse instead of a real living one? And the big problem is, the actors are just giving to much effort! You are just giving to much heart into this show, instead of doing it easy like they did on Batwoman or Robyn Hood.

I have never heard of this series before, but man I can't wait to see this when it comes out.

I am so excited for this. Pentdragon and The Hobbit were my introduction into fantasy and along with LOtR remain the benchmark by which all others are judged in my opinion.

Every one of these production diaries I watch, I get more excited. The casting all looks perfect, especially Morgan. And I won't lie, I got a little giddy and did some girly squealing when they revealed Spencer Klavan is MAKING A LANGUAGE for the Atlanteans🤩 I've been rooting for this since I heard DW was making it, being a decades-long fan of the books, but I'm now starting to get truly pumped!

This looks impressive and well produced.😊 However, some of the dresses are WAY too low-cut.😬 I'd like to see a bit more modesty. I love adult fantasies, but dislike the immodest costumes that often appear in them. I'd like to see a cool show WITHOUT the nasty stuff that Hollywood pushes.🙄

I honestly cannot wait for this. Absolute fantasy nerd here. But haven’t read the Pendragon Cycle. Will definitely be picking these up and reading them before this series airs!

ok, first thing for me is that the costumes look like ancient costumes, not like western movies coats mixed with American highschool fashion - thats encouraging :D

This show has me anticipating its release like no other show in recent history. I'm a huge Star Wars fan... But I am more excited for this show than I was for Ahsoka, Mandolorian, Andor, or Obi Wan Kenobi.

At first I had no interest in this series, but then I watched the first of these behind the scenes diaries, and I can see how much care is being put into the costuming, sets, acting, practical effects, etc., now I’m really hyped for it!

This the first BTS video that actually raised my hype meter, and it was considerable.

00:11 and 00:52. Is that Brett over there? :P On a side note (as a world building enthusiast), will there perhaps be a language book for this new Atlantean language? Something along the lines of Tolkien's explanation of his Elvish language, or like Star Trek did with its Klingon language course? It would be a shame to put all that hard work into creating the language and not sharing it with fans of the book series or series. I know those nerds and geeks amongst us who are interested in fake languages for fiction worldbuilding would appreciate a product like that - perhaps something that also explains the lingual influences in crafting the actual language, and how it was integrated into a single whole language. Would also be willing to buy some kind of concept art book for this media product.

I had to read this book to understand this movie better. Done with book 1 took me four days. I'm entering Merlin

This looks great. The acting, costumes, sets...everything. I think I'm going to have to read the books before this show premieres...

It's impressive how much talent runs in the Klavan family.

One thing to love about the 3 films of Lord of the Rings is that no women had to run around with a dress cut down to their navel to get the show attention. Oh Daily Wire. We love you, but for goodness sake. Give women back their dignity. And no I am neither Amish nor Puritan nor muslim. It’s just…a regular neckline would make it stand out from all the Hollywood garbage. Surely the actress is gorgeous enough. Consider introducing women‘s costumes that encourage viewers to look at their face and listen to their lines. Just a thought.

This is one of those series that had the ability to cross the divide between Christian and non-Christian readers. What readers wanted was a good story with world-building (if applicable) that contributed to the story and vice versa. If a story is so busy talking about world-building instead of progressing the plot, it becomes less of a story. To me, The Pendragon Cycle was a story heralded for balancing story with world-building. Anyway, I am really looking forward to seeing what other stories TDW will adapt.

Oh, its one of my fav fantasy novels. Beside Tolkien, Sapkowski and Robert Holdstock's "Mythago wood". At first I only noticed that its going to be new TV show and so I was like oh, my not again :D and then I noticed that its producers are from DailyWire - so I think we can be hopeful for that project :)

I LOVE Arthurian Legend, and of all the many literary adaptations of this story - the Pendragon Cycle is my favorite. I'm so glad that it's you guys creating this instead of Netflix where it would be laced with MA sex scenes and nasty strange diversity stuff. I'm extremely excited for this project and have dusted off my books only to learn there are now two more... so I'm re-reading them now in preparation for this series!

I have never been more excited for a series in my life! I am going to read the books yet again in preparation for this, which will be my 9th and 10th time through them? I would love to hear how much Stephen Lawhead has been involved in this or what he thinks of it all?

I have a linguistics degree and I'm a writer and a total language nerd, and it's so exciting to see when a fantasy work incorporates fantasy languages! That was one of my greatest problems with the Rings of Power, when they took Tolkien's world created out of his love for language as art, and completely messed up even the small bits of Elven (those idiots couldn't tell the difference between Quenya and Sindarin, for crying out loud) that they had. I had some doubts about this project, and this video just skyrocketed my interest into the stratosphere)

I’m already predicting the fantasy / history / historical costume / movie nerds will be loving every bit of this show!!

This is going to be amazing. I always loved how Lawhead made Atlantis the origin of Britain's "Fair Folk". So masterfully done. Can't wait for this series. The production value looks top notch. Charis and Morgian look pretty much how I imagined them. Wow! Two beautiful and sweet ladies committed to excellence. Also love that they made an Atlantean language--awesome.

I can't believe how good this looks. I read those books over and over 20 years ago, and I was so skeptical when I heard an adaptation was being made. Figured Hollywood would ruin it like the Rings of Power. But this...I'm blown away.

The Atlantean language sounds fascinating. I love the civilian costumes. All the celtic trappings so far seem really well done, and giving the Atlanteans a kind of ancient, almost pre-classical aesthetic is a strong choice. Please. Please! Please, for the love of all that is holy, use realistic late antique Roman armor for the Romans, Romano-British, and other appropriate characters. At least try for authenticity if you can't manage accuracy. Mail should be everywhere, scale should be the primary alternative, and everyone going into battle should at minimum have a helmet (probably a variant of Spangenhelm).
