After being let down so badly by Wheel of Time.. and Rings of Power.. and The Witcher.. and Willow.. I'm really hoping for something that actually respects the source material and just tells a good story! 🙏

You know, it's kinda of nice seeing political figures putting so much time effort and passion into something *not* political. It humanizes them more to me. It's also just refreshing to watch something fun too.

Thank you for staying true to European culture and traditions. It’s absolutely unbelievable that Europeans existing is considered offensive. So much for equality logic. Everyone’s culture should have equal representation independently and together alike

Whaaaaat???? Stephen R. Lawhead has been, and ALWAYS WILL BE one of my favorite and most respected authors! He and Peretti are the reason I started writing in the first place. I had no idea this was happening!! Can't wait to watch Taliesin (turning my head to look at the first book of the series, on my bookshelf) come to life!!!

Dare I be hyped for an epic fantasy series again? After all these years of disrespectful adaptations, political propaganda and depraved stories? I kinda am getting hyped!

I'm very happy for the company and hope it succeeds so that they can continue to make them. At least we can know that this isn't going to be filled with nonsense like the rest of Hollywood. That alone makes it worth supporting. If we want entertainment that's not filled with virtue signal BS then we must stand behind it.

Every one of these production diaries I watch, I get more excited. The casting all looks perfect, especially Morgan. And I won't lie, I got a little giddy and did some girly squealing when they revealed Spencer Klavan is MAKING A LANGUAGE for the Atlanteans🤩 I've been rooting for this since I heard DW was making it, being a decades-long fan of the books, but I'm now starting to get truly pumped!

DW and Spencer Klavan (no relation to Andrew Klavan) should release the Atlantian language to the fans when it’s “finished” as I know I would love a crack at learning it.

At first I had no interest in this series, but then I watched the first of these behind the scenes diaries, and I can see how much care is being put into the costuming, sets, acting, practical effects, etc., now I’m really hyped for it!

This looks amazing. And to see the care of making a language for the production demonstrates the passion for the project. Can not wait for the release.

I genuinely have high hopes for this. I just hope they hired historical advisors and dialect coaches 🙏🏻

I am so excited for this. Pentdragon and The Hobbit were my introduction into fantasy and along with LOtR remain the benchmark by which all others are judged in my opinion.

I honestly cannot wait for this. Absolute fantasy nerd here. But haven’t read the Pendragon Cycle. Will definitely be picking these up and reading them before this series airs!

All these initiatives from DW is planting a seed in my mind that there is hope for this world still. Very interesting!.. These videos are making me want to support you. Only thing that keeps me is that I wish my children could partake but we are not native english speaking.

All the hard work and passion that's being poured into this series gives me hope for the future of storytelling.

I really really love this "Dev Diary" series. Couldn't be more excited for the show.

This is going to be amazing. I always loved how Lawhead made Atlantis the origin of Britain's "Fair Folk". So masterfully done. Can't wait for this series. The production value looks top notch. Charis and Morgian look pretty much how I imagined them. Wow! Two beautiful and sweet ladies committed to excellence. Also love that they made an Atlantean language--awesome.

I LOVE Arthurian Legend, and of all the many literary adaptations of this story - the Pendragon Cycle is my favorite. I'm so glad that it's you guys creating this instead of Netflix where it would be laced with MA sex scenes and nasty strange diversity stuff. I'm extremely excited for this project and have dusted off my books only to learn there are now two more... so I'm re-reading them now in preparation for this series!

I have never been more excited for a series in my life! I am going to read the books yet again in preparation for this, which will be my 9th and 10th time through them? I would love to hear how much Stephen Lawhead has been involved in this or what he thinks of it all?

I have a linguistics degree and I'm a writer and a total language nerd, and it's so exciting to see when a fantasy work incorporates fantasy languages! That was one of my greatest problems with the Rings of Power, when they took Tolkien's world created out of his love for language as art, and completely messed up even the small bits of Elven (those idiots couldn't tell the difference between Quenya and Sindarin, for crying out loud) that they had. I had some doubts about this project, and this video just skyrocketed my interest into the stratosphere)

This is one of those series that had the ability to cross the divide between Christian and non-Christian readers. What readers wanted was a good story with world-building (if applicable) that contributed to the story and vice versa. If a story is so busy talking about world-building instead of progressing the plot, it becomes less of a story. To me, The Pendragon Cycle was a story heralded for balancing story with world-building. Anyway, I am really looking forward to seeing what other stories TDW will adapt.
