At 2:45, I almost punched my phone because dude called out “this is the G2” while turning that loud ass thing on, Then proceeds to call the newer G3 version a G2 as well.
Sooo Many inaccuracies!! Unbelievable. Simple things like being able to count. Hypervolt comes with 5 NOT 4 attachments. Also, I noticed that they turned the Hypervolt all the way up to level 3 in order to make it even close to as noisy as the Theragun 3. It seems they don't think their audience is very intelligent. Let alone that can't say Theragun 3 Pro, often calling it a Theragun 2. Finally, they should have compared the Hypervolt Pro to the Theragun 3 Pro for a truer comparison.
He turned it up to the 3rd level as he stated to show that its much more quite compared to the Thera 3. Which is amazing cuz tbh no patient we ever worked with tolerates passed the first level anyway. It’s definitely strong enough at that level
Hypervolt is better if you practice in a clinic setting where noise is a factor. Also the round head on the hypervolt has a foam covering which is more comfortable for patients who are more sensitive or injured.
Dr Todd Sullivan hypervolt definitely has the edge with sound, especially over the G2. The new G3 is better on sound! Been using it in the clinic with better feedback on sound than the G2
Definitely agree with you guys. I feel like if you're working in a clinic setting, it's wise to invest in the tools you use. I usually view anything that has to do with improving your health as an investment in yourself. So don't cheap out on yourself and get the G3.
Quick question: if two guns cost the same, which would you choose for a harder, deeper massage when trying to relieve a muscle knot by pressing the gun as deep into the leg or back as possible: -- A gun with 70 lb stall force and 12mm amplitude OR a gun with 66 lb stall force and 16mm amplitude? THANK YOU!
Yes the review is very biased of a certain brand yes theragun is a little bit more money but when you put the price of the bag the ex battery and a few extra rubber heads and case into the equation it’s nearly the same price as the hyper volt gun do they really think you get all the extra for free of course not The only extra really have got is a little bit more power but that’s just personal preference but to be honest both products are pretty decent whatever one you get
Review feels biased. The Hypervolt makes way less sound compared to the Hypervolt, you can clearly hear in the video. Strenghtwise you're "testing" it on your hand? You guys didn't even bother to test it on a body. Clicking in the handle/battery of the Hypervolt isn't difficult at all. Personally I use them both, but in the morning I tend to use the Hypervolt with my clients. The Theragun I usually use with patients with more tension, like complex neuraglic patients or bodybuilders. The Hypervolt is better with "normal" patients.
After testing both, and now owning the Theragun G3Pro, the Hypervolt doesn't even compare to the power of theragun in my opinion. I had a guy at a running store who has a hypervolt try my theragun and he said it was way more powerful.
One point to clarify: vibration therapy and percussive therapy are different delivery systems. The Thergun is true percussive therapy. The head oscillates and actually moves body tissue. This will be louder since there’s mechanical movement. The G3 Pro’s gearbox was redesigned enabling it to be quieter than its predecessor. The Hypervolt is a vibration massager. It will definitely be quieter than an oscillating jigsaw.
I personally recommend the Theragun. I like it’s aggressive bite for bodywork - it really helps warm up and loosen muscles quick (10-15 minutes for the entire body). The Thergun is a jigsaw (think power tools) under the hood. I haven’t used the Hypervolt myself - since it’s less intense I would assume it’s more comfortable for anyone with muscle/skin sensitivity.
Jonathan Anonuevo I’m trying to buy one and can’t decide. I’m geared towards recovery and warming up. As well as an occasional muscle strain. I was between timtam, hypervolt, and theragun liv. Could you help me decide?
@@nickhinton8888 Hey Nick, I might be biased, but I'm a believer. I would suggest the Theragun. Worst case, you can try it out and see if it really meets your needs. All three tools have a 30-day return policy. The liv is affordable and is still a solid Theragun. I have the certified-refurbished G2Pro and it's great for everything you've mentioned (albeit 2x noisy as the current Theragun lineup. I haven't really had a need for dual-speeds or to articulate the head since I typically use it on myself. The articulating head is great for ergonomically using the Theragun on someone else's body.
I have the Jigsaw massager and the Wahl Deep Tissue massager. Honestly, the Wahl Deep Tissue massager is underrated and for only 30 bucks it's well worth it.
Make a review about the product RXGUN QUIETEC, look good product but do not know how it works and how it sounds, there is no online video that shows it ...
This is a product of worx, this is their third product, the company is a tool, the product looks good but there is no detail video on it and you made a great video because of this I asked you to make this product to know whether to buy or not
Ummmm lol the video wasn’t very good, I like that you guys explained all the features but it seemed pretty obvious, at least to me, that you guy where leaning to the theragun the whole time and down playing the other one. Bad review for me, seems to much like it was paid for by the winner. Just a little constructive criticism.
No comparison g3 on level one is twice as loud as the hypervolt on level 3. Trust me I got the theragun first cause of everyone's reviews but no way I can use it in my apartment without neighbors complaining. It sounds like your doing construction and imagine using it on your traps. Your ears would explode. And for the power i barely go up to level 3 on the hypervolt. The theragun might have more power but do you really need it? And for their self use example, you can just push on the back of the hypervolt for more pressure on your pecs.
I think more reviews should cover the differences between percussion and vibration therapy. For sensitive areas where some recommend the Hypervolt, would using the G3Pro very lightly (floating) in those spots at the slower speeds be just as effective as the Hypervolt? In other words, I own the G3Pro and am wondering if there is any benefit to adding the Hypervolt Plus.
Confusion with the product names, calling the Theragun the G2 then the G3. For a while I thought you were reviewing three items. Stopped the video to google the G2 version for clarity.
Hey guys do you have any opinion on durability of Hyperice vs G3? i've seen many bad reviews about hypervolt and bad customer service from hyperice. any opinion helps! thanks.
I'm not gonna lie. I got a Worx jigaw for 80$ and bought a ball attachment(20$) MADE for this jigsaw off Ebay and it blows the Theragun out of the water performance wise ( haven't tried the hypervolt) So I got something for 100$ that works better than something that is 600$ and there is no blade on the attachment at all so it's completely safe
Yes I have used the g2 g3 hypervolt and worx jigsaw. Theragun g3 doesnt need more power as illustrated in the video it is unstoppable as is. G3 pro is 100x better than the jigsaw version. I'd never go back to my jigsaw one that's for sure.
Percussion therapy isn't anything new. In my chiropractic practice, I've been using a device called a Vibracussor (made by Impac) for 20 years. It's a lot heavier, a lot more heavy duty and a lot more expensive than anything in the consumer market. It's also only sold to healthcare professionals. That being said, it does require you to be tethered to an AC outlet. The new cordless devices offer a lot more freedom to move around.
